[Q] Settings stay after hard reset - Windows Mobile Apps and Games

I noticed one strange behavior
i hard reset my HD2 yesterday, after doing some changes to my Phone Weaver, the surprise was that the phone weaver settings kept the newest settings made after my last SPB Image, and before the hard reset, HOW CAN THAT BE?
And when you backup settings in XTasks it asks you: "does the backup settings hard reset are not lost" this is how they wrote it
how can this be done? how can settings be reserved after hard reset?

Master reset on root

I rooted my photon a while back and removed a few stock apps. If I do a master reset, will these deleted stock apps be restored?
Sent from my MB855 using XDA App
To make a short story long...I've been having a problem with my launcher freezing up after the screen has been off for several hours or longer (I haven't figured out why yet) and I have SBF'd and done a master reset (Settings, Privacy, Factory Data Reset) in the last day or so.
SBF retained my data and installed apps and restored lost stock apps. And Factory Data Reset, as the name implies, wiped all data and installed apps, but does not appear to have restored the deleted system apps.
If you have used TiBu or an equivalent app to freeze a system app it should return after a factory reset. If you delete them, it does it does just that. When you do a factory reset if you do not wipe and/or format /data, cache, and system there may be traces of your old setup left behind. If you've had issues and leave traces you may still have them after restore.

i deleted some stock apps using root explorer like the default browser and never got it back whenever i did a phone reset. just a question mark

[Q] Cannot add new conctat nor restore backup contacts after factory reset

Hello,
After installing lots of apps on my SGS3, i noticed a lot of lagging and i decide on a factory reset. i did all necessary backups and pressed the button.
the restore went well but i soon notice my phone indicating that the device as been modified and cannot get updates. well, i didnt mind much as google said i wasnt alone in that situation.
my main problem is when i tried to restore contacts from Super backup and it just kept waiting with no contact restored. i checked the .vcf file and could view it in other programs. i also tried to add a new contact to my phone and noticed that after entering the data, the contact could not be saved. i have tried other contact manager apps with same result.
the device has never been rooted and has performed well since purchases. i will appreciate all help/suggestion on the issue.
thanks.
Reset again. Restore nothing. Add contact as a test

Hi roshmedia,
I always used my google account to save contacts and SMS Backup+ for my messages, it also uses your google account to backup all messages,
Anyway try like RootSU said. Do a new factory reset and do some tests and try again.

[Q] Kies - Restoring a Partial Backup?

Hi everyone, I recently had problems with my SGS3 and had to factory reset. Before I did the factory reset I did a full backup in Kies, and it completed everything but then hung backing up text messages, the last thing on the list. I had to cancel the backup but I noticed the information it had backed up was still there, so went ahead with the factory reset.
Unfortunately, although the backup data is there (with the exception of text messsages, which I don't really care about), the actual .sbu backup file that Kies needs to restore a backup isn't there, as I'm guessing it's the index of the backup which would have been created if the text message backup hadn't hung. Is there any way to easily restore the backup without this file?
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give!

Titanium Backup crashing after factory reset

I've recently done a factory reset and now Titanium Backup crashes every time I try and backup/restore an app. It used to work fine but now I've reinstalled it and copied the 'TitaniumBackup' folder (that contains the backups) to where it was, so everything is as it was pre factory reset.
The uninstalled apps show up as normal with a line through, but if I select one it hangs momentarily and I get an error (Unfortunately Titanium Backup has stopped. Report/OK). I've cleared app data and uninstalled/reinstalled TB. This also happens if I select an app that I haven't previously uninstalled, so it's not just having a problem with my backup files.
I have absolutely no idea what could be different and causing this. THanks for any help.
Same problem for me...

duraforce contacts deleted -

so recap for simplicity:
Is there a link tutorial for the DURAFORCE KYOCERA or flashing? Factory or upgrade
I assume this is a YES, but deleting an app with Titanium backup makes it a perma delete, correct?
And finally Am I wasting my time with the factory reset (which I did from the menu but didnt restore the contacts app no luck), as it will probably not work?
thanks
