I've made two CABs that adaptes the following to Spanish language:

One CAB is for Windows Mobile 5 and the other is for Windows Mobile 6.

Se agradece mucho el esfuerzo, a ver si asi me animo a poner el WM6.
Ya lo he puesto en mi antigua Qtek 9100 (Wizard) y la verdad es que mucho mejor, aunque no lo he probado a fondo, pues solo tengo una linea operativa, pero se nota bastante la soltura al ejecutar cosas y la cantidad de recursos de la maquina.

Hi all, about which rom to install, it depends on every person. I haven't installed any rom because I am still with the spanish "stock" rom and it works fine. What I have installed are radio ROMs while they have been showing up, and actually I us the 1.35.00.11 (which is a trinity rom with GPS enabled but not functional on tytn, and quite stable)
If you want to upgrade the rom, i think is a bit silly to flash WM5 when you have WM6 here and people like Kyphur is working hard on it. BTW, at the moment is only available in english until any company releases it in spanish or someone makes a full "language pack"
About how to go back to the original ROM, the answer is that it seems possible: actually there are the TyTN dumped rom (which I dumped myself) and the Vodafone rom. So, until someone works it out, it's still left to dump the orange one. Instructions to make a rom dump are here:

Seems to be easy and with the tools which those gurus around here are releasing, every time it is safer to go through the ROM upgrading process.
This is what I recommend:
a/ logic: if you don't have a reason to upgrade your rom, don't do it.
Risking a bricked device to see how pretty is WM6 is being fool. If you are expecting more out of your tytn, then go for it.
b/ patience: if you are not in a hurry to upgrade, wait until the ROM has been tested before upgrading. If you'd like to be beta tester, then you can have the most updated rom and help the community with your experiences.
c/ read, read and read; is the only way to learn and be sure with this stuff. The wiki is impressive and very easy to read.
d/ ask, ask and ask: if you have a doubt, and after having read the relevant threads, ask before it is too late.
About the "blackberry connect" which nonexx has said, I think that only WMXL 0.20.x roms from Kyphur are able to run this application, because he has edited the windows build version to "trick" them, in Kyphur's own words:
"OS Version is edited to 5.1.195 (Build 17217.6.0.0) - XDA. This should allow Blackberry Connect (v2.1.2.31) & GoodLink to work with it."

Sobre la decisión de que ROM instalar, la verdad es que depende de cada uno.
En mi caso aun no he instalado ninguna ROM por lo que sigo con la Española "de serie" y me va de lujo. Lo que si he ido instalando ha sido las ROM de Radio según han ido apareciendo y actualmente uso la 1.35.00.11 (que es una ROM de la Trinity con soporte GPS -no funcional en la TyTN- y bastante estable).
Si queréis cambiar de ROM, yo creo que ya es un poco una tontería el meter WM5 cuando el WM6 ya está aquí y además gente como Kyphur se lo está currando bastante. Eso si, de momento solo está en inglés hasta que alguna compañía la saque en Español o alguien se curre un "Language Pack" completo.
Sobre el tema de volver a la ROM de fábrica, la respuesta es que parece factible: actualmente hay volcadas las ROM de la TyTN (la volqué yo mismo) y la ROM de Vodafone. Por lo tanto, hasta que alguien se anime, faltaría por dumpear la de Orange. las instruciones para generar una ROM desde un volcado están aquí:

Parece muy sencillo y con las herramientas que se están currando esos peazo de monstruos que hay por aquí, cada vez es más seguro el lanzarse al proceso de actualizar la ROM.
De todas formas yo recomiendo:
a/ lógica: si no tienes una razón para cambiar tu ROM, no lo hagas. Arriesgarte a quedarte con un trozo de plástico inútil solo por ver lo bonito que queda el WM6 es de necios. Si la TyTn se os ha quedado pequeña u os va lenta para vuestro quehacer diario, entonces si, a por ello.
b/ paciencia: si no teneís prisa por actualizar, esperad a que la ROM esté bien testeada antes de actualizar. Eso si, si os gusta ser betatesters, entonces, estupendo ya que además de tener una máquina más actualizada podéis ayudar a la comunidad con vuestras experiencias.
c/ leer, leer y leer; es la única forma de aprender y de ir sobre seguro con estas cosas. La Wiki es impresionante y muy amena.
d/ preguntar, preguntar y preguntar: ante cualquier duda y tras la correspondiente lectura, preguntad antes de meter la pata.
Sobre lo del "Blackberry Connect" que comenta nonexxx, me parece que solamente las ROMS WMXL 0.20.x de Kyphur pueden dar soporte a dicha aplicación ya que hay que modificar la versión del Windows para "engañarlas". En palabras del propio Kiphur:
"OS Version is edited to 5.1.195 (Build 17217.6.0.0) - XDA. This should allow Blackberry Connect (v2.1.2.31) & GoodLink to work with it."

It is true that people here is amazing, now I am flipping out because it has been released a new way to upgrade which doesn't requires to mess up the supercid and so you don't loose your warranty. As I still have to unlock it, i will just make the simple (sim) unlock and that's it.
Regarding upgrading the ROM, i've read that the vodafone branded one is not good, that's why I wanted to change it, and if you tell me it is available for download then I will donwload it and save it, but the truth is that i was not able to find it. Your htc rom is in spanish? where is it? i can't find it on the wiki or I don't know how to search.

Pues tienes toda la razón de que la gente que anda por aquí es la leche, ahora ya me he quedado alucinado porque hoy mismo han sacado una forma de updatear mediante la cual no hay que fastidiar el supercid y por lo tanto no pierdes la garantía. Como todavía la tengo que liberar haré la liberación simple y a correr.
Con respecto a lo de cambiar de ROM, he leido que la de vodafone no va muy bien, por eso quería cambiarla, y si me dices que está colgada la de vodafone pues la bajaré para guardarla pero la verdad que no la había encontrado, tu rom de htc está en español? donde está en el wiki no la he encontrado o no la he sabido buscar.

You say you put the full vodafone rom, I was only able to find a link in xda which was not working. I will be glad if you can give me access to it, I switched the full rom for the Cingular one, but not the bootloader, I'm still with the 1.04. Parrot did not work fine, bbc nothing, videocalling doesn't work either, so i went to the original vodafone rom but I was only able to find it in english here, and is the one I currently have on my device. I'd like to have it in spanish.
I had a s200 before and it was way more stable than Tytn, i have to do a lot of resets on it, sometimes opera fails to start, other times tomtom fails, and i spend a lot of time doing softreset.....
That's why I was curious on trying wm6, also I notice that my old s200 was faster even if it has a 200mhz processor....

Dices que pusiste la rom completa de Vodafone, yo solo encontre un enlace en xda que no funcionaba, te agradeceria poder tener acceso a ella, yo cambie la Rom completa por la cingular pero no el boot sigo con el 1.04, pero me funciono mucho peor el parrot, el bbc nada, la videoconferencia tampoco, total que volvi a la original de vodafone, pero solo la encontre en ingles en esta casa, y es la que tengo, me encantaria poder tener la de español.
La verdad que antes tenia una s200, y era mas estable, a la Tytn le tengo que hacer muchos resets cuando no arranca el opera es el tomtom, y me paso el rato con softreset....
Por eso mi curiosidad en probar el wm6, ademas noto que casi mi antigua s200era mas rapida a pesar de tener un 200 de procesador...

Que es exactamente la misma que la española vodafone pero en ingles, claro, no pudiera conseguir este mismo archivo en español.... o no pudiera cargar lo mismo de HTC en español y uego cargar la extenderom, que ya tengo guardada.Es que leo los post que dices para restaurar la rom y lo veo complicado.

Realmente, lo que dice en los posts es justamente lo que tu quieres hacer; cambiar el contenido del archivo en inglés por el español. Lo que pasa es que es complicado y encima yo lo estoy probando en casa y me casca el comando buildimgfs.
Don't you get pissed off when you write accents with the TyTN keyboard? To write an accent you have to push:
- vocal: a
- dot
- space: à (inverse accent!)
- dot
- space: á (the right one)
To fix it you only need to modify the file "sym.txt" (or "sym.0409.txt" in WM6) to reorder the accented letters to your liking. For example, for letter 'a' the order is:
aàáâäåąãăæ
And it would be more usable like this:
aáàâäåąãăæ
So the first accent shown is the right one.
I have the sym.txt file modified (anyone can do it with Word Mobile for example), but the question is:actually the cab's i've uploaded come with the stock files, that is, inversed accent by default. Should I modify the cab files to include the modified "sym.txt" on them?

A vosotros no os da por saco que, cuando escribís con el teclado de la TyTN, para poner un acento hay que pulsar:
- La vocal: a
- Punto
- Espacio: à (¡está al revés!)
- Punto
- Espacio: á (correcto)
Bueno, pues basta con modificar el fichero "sym.txt" (o "sym.0409.txt" en WM6) para reordenar los acentos a vuestro gusto. Por ejemplo, para la letra a el orden es:

Y quedaría más funcional así:

De manera que el primer acento mostrado sería el correcto.
Tengo el fichero sys.txt modificado (cualquiera puede hacerlo con el Word Mobile mismo) pero la pregunta es; actualmente los CABs que he puesto vienen con los ficheros de fábrica, es decir, acento chungo por defecto. ¿Los modifico para incluir el "sym.txt" modificado?
It would be good to have them inversed, would ease the task of writing properly, which is always a good think, although I use the spanish keyboard help with a program which changes the suggested words to spanish, and with this and the CAB you sent me, I really have it spanitized, because the rest I understand it properly.

I'd like to ask you a question about wm6.
As it is said on the wiki version table, there are some versions with have no sspl, nor rom, etc... does that means your versions are kept? I tried to update to wm6 vanilla and I got an eror, but I saw bootloader was 1.09, I sitll have my Tytn and sspl 1.04, but i don't like this chagne because I know 1.04 has a bug and you can install any rom. This is what I've been able to figure out with my poor english in this forum.
ahh I try to modify the text file but I cant' save it, nor modify it, I can only save it on storage with the same name...

Pues sería bueno que ya estuvieran modificados con acentos, facilitaría mucho, el escribir bien, que nunca va mal, aunque yo uso la ayuda del teclado en español, con un programa que te cambia las sugerencias al español, con ese y el CAB que tu mandaste, realmente la tengo españolizada, porque el resto lo entiendo perfectamente.
Por cierto gracias por los dumps pero lo veo complicado, para mi, es que yo solo se actualizar con el wizard...:-((
Pense que encontraria una Rom como la de vodafone UK, que tenia el wizard....aunque supongo a mucha gente le será de gran utilidad poder tenerla.

Según pone en las tablas de versiones de wiki xda, hay versiones que no tienen ni sspl ni Rom, etc....Significa eso que mantiene las que tienes, es que yo intente actualizar por curiosidad al wm6 vanilla y me dio error pero vi que el bootloader me lo ponia en 1.09, sigo con mi Tytn y el sppl 1.04 , pero ese cambio no me gustaria porque se que el 1.04tiene un bug y se puede instalar cualquier rom. Eso es lo que he podido deducir de mi poco ingles en este foro.
ahh intento modificar ese archivo de texto pero no me deja guardarlo,ni modificarlo, solo me lo deja guardar en la storage con el mismo nombre...

These versions you say only have operating system, and some of them also change the splash screen, but nothing else.
The bootloader you see when upgrading the rom with WM6 is only temporary. It is the 1.09 modified by Des so you can install unsigned ROMs and it doesn't check your CID.
The 1.04 bootloader has a bug but nowadays you can flash with any rom thanks to this modified bootloader. Anyway I'd install -right now- the following bootloader because it is a life saver: is a modified 1.04:

It is the file Hard-SPL.zip. It will show up as 1.10 Oli. I assure it is worth installing it just in case you run into problems.
About the sym.txt file, I can overwrite it with Resco Explorer. Btw, I think if you overwrite it through activesync (through PC explorer browse to \windows folder on TyTN) you should have no problems. If it doesn't work this way I can send you a CAB (but in the afternoon, now i'm going to work).

Esas versiones que comentas solamente llevan el sistema operativo y alguna te cambia la pantalla de arranque de la máquina, pero nada más.
El bootloader que te pone al actualizar a las ROMs que hay con WM6 es temporal. Se trata de la versión 1.09 modificada por Des para poder instalar ficheros no firmados por HTC y además no comprueba tu CID.
El 1.04 tiene dicho BUG pero actualmente ya se puede flashear cualquier ROM gracias al bootloader modificado que te he comentado. De todas formas yo me instalaría -pero ya- el siguiente bootloader ya que es una especie de seguro de vida: es el 1.04 modificado:

El fichero es el Hard-SPL.zip. Te saldrá como 1.10 Oli. Te aseguro que merece la pena llevarlo instalado por si las moscas.
Sobre lo del fichero sym.txt. A mi el Resco Explorer me deja sobreescribirlo. No obstante, creo que si lo sobreescribes desde el activesync (es decir, te conectas la TyTN al PC, abres una ventana del explorador y lo dejas en /Windows de la TyTN) no debería darte problemas. Si aun así no te va, te mando un CAB (pero ya por la tarde que me voy al curro).

Now it's only left to put wm6 xda live 0.20 and try the bbc, parrot and other stuff, if it doesn't work like on the cingular one, i will only put the radio you have, the 1.35, with this radio, will i be able to run bbc? ... I guess no, from your previous comment.

Esto si es avanzar en el tema, estoy como un niño..... casi mas contento que cuando estrene mi Tytn, por fin empiezo a enterarme de las cosas, este link aclararia muchas dudas a mucha gente, que esta como yo....
Ya esta actualizada la Tytn al sppl 1.10 oli, lo he ejecutado y luego al arrancarla en modo bootloader, me sale 1.10 Oli.
Por favor no te preocupes yo ya cambiare el archivo sym.txt.
Ahora solo me queda a ver si esta noche lo hago, ponerle el wm6 de xda live 0.20, y probar el bbc el parrot y demas cositas, si no me va nada como en la cingular, podria poner la radio solamente que tu tienes, la 1.35, ¿con esta me iria el bbc?...supongo que no, por lo que me has comentado antes.

Hello, sorry about my english, i´m from venezuela.
I have a brand new Qtek-a9100, with a WM5, i want to upgrade to WM6.
My qtek was a 2.26.0001 already unlocked, i be able to use 2 diferents operators gsm in my phone.
when i try to upgrade to WM6, some errors occured, error 300 was in 6 o 7 tried to upgrade..
In some of thems, says to try to recover, and i have the tre colors page on the screen, so tried again to upgrade with others roms.
In one case, says congratulations, you have finally upgrade and bla bla bla..., but when i try to turn it on, the same tre colors page appears again..
In the last tried, other message says congratulations and bla bla bla, but this time, the screen, shows a picture like a forrest o some like that with a bear jar in first plane (sorry by my english), stay there for aproximate 2 minutes, when i see that this not change i put it off the batery (i think that was welpfully) but now my qtek not response, not charge, dont shows the tres colors page (bootloader page) dont do nothing..
Please help, i love my qtek, i need my qtek for my kind of work.
What do i do for try to restore my qtek??

You killed it by flashing it without CID unlocking first!
Now only a new board or special repair technique (not known here)
If you didn't flash a G3 IPL/SPL it shouldn't be dead. Sure the battery isn't empty. Follow this:

amigo tambien soy de venezuela y me paso lo mismo mate la tarjeta no reset no enciende no luz de carga no nada de nada la misma cagada con la rom de la cerveza, anduve por todos los foros y nadie repara esta falla pero dejame decirte que destape el celular y sin saber como, lo arregle, desolde la bateria de memoria del telefono y con un adaptador ac/dc puesto en cuatro voltios tocando varios de los componentes de la tarjeta madre del telofono (incluso en algunos casos mostro chizpasos dando señas de corto) sin saber nada de electronica, volvi a colocar la minibateria que trae la tm la solde y cual fue mi sorpresa que el dispositivo me volvia mostrar las tres barras de colores seguidamente coloque su rom de wm5 que trae y me funciono de maravilla, resumiendo dado que tu tarjeta no tiene reparo conocido te sugiero que destapes tu a9100 y hagas lo mismo si quieres mas detalles del orden de como comenze a hacer los cortos mi email es [email protected] somos venezolanos y estamos en la misma lucha

yo hice lo mismo y si ahora tienes ATHE100 IPL-V1.00 ATHE100 SPL-V3.05.0000 esta perfecto, ahora solo tienes que cargar la rom oficial

y ya despues tienes todo listo, pero primero despues de hacer lo que he puesto en el post debes cargar la rom oficial si tienes algun problema me mandas un privado.

Veo que te ha sido util mi trabajillo, que no ha sido nada mas que fruto de mi experiencia en la aplicacion y consejos de otros de este foro.
He tenido un lapsus al cargar en mi pc el windows 7 y me he quedado sin la rom oficial en español de mi x7500. Y no se de donde bajarla. Me la podrias proporcionar tu?. gracias.

Si claro y perdona por no decirte nada, como ves tu nombre cuando te doy las grasias lo copie del pdf, ya que no te encontre asi por todopocketpc , de ahi que no pudiera comunicarte, ya que el pdf me lo pasaron por correo,

stuck in bootloader. Help needed.
I have a HTC Athena x7500.
accidentally upgraded my htc x7500 WITH SSPL-Manual-x7510.zip of HTC X7510
Wend I turn on the device, it goes directly to bootloader and
the screen is:
ATHE 100
IPL - v1.00
ATHE 100
SPL-v3.05.0000 OR my old spl is 1.10.0000
I have tried to change the language of my athena and then he died :spanish > fransh
USB (wend is to connect)
series (wend is unconnectable).
I can not turn the unit off by pressing the button, but must take
the battery.
I have tried with hardspl its not working
I want a solution in the forum xda-develop it says my q must upgrade to the rom of espana oficial
After downloading the rom:Advantage_HTC_SPA_2.21.412.1_1.50.00.00_Ship
I tried to upgrade to this rom May j has a mesage on my athena screen:
found spl v1.10
dowload Spl before v3.05 is not allowed!
I tried to update it with the sd card i have the same mesage
upgrade with athenaUnlucker not work
upgrade with hardspl v7 not work
upgrade with CheetahUnlocker not work
upgrade with athena wraper not work
I have explored ruu_signeg.nbh with notepad jai entered the signer spl 1.10 I know if c is sure or not
I believe there is a problem in the image rom saved in my athena rom
what I see on the screen of my athena is the spl 3.05.0000
The real spl is 1.10.0000 there is confusion in my spl
is what I can fix this problem with mtty

Now as this without baterria ago to charge as putting it in the plug does not load
After trying the froyo sbf gave me this error

pregunte aca porque ya abia preguntado en el grupo android y se que los de aca so unos de los que mas saven
lo que ise fue intalar la rom atrix ics v2.0 y el ramfixtest después de eso el cel no prendió mas despues me dijeron esto en el grupo android "yo le puse el ramfixtest y ya no quizo prender,, asi que le quite la pila la meti de nuevo, lo prendi, lo puse en modo "Fastboot" y con la aplicacion de "MOTOROLA ATRIX FASTBOOT by Ecstacy42" hice lo siguiente;.. 1.- opcion (16) Borrar todo 2.- opcion (1) Desbloquear Bootloader 3.- opcion (2) Flashear Recovery y listo,,... pude volver hacer los wipes e instalar otra ves la rom pero sin el ramfixtest esta ves,,, y todo bien... asi ya no tienen que instalar el firmware" cuando llege al ultimo paso el de flashear el recobery no termino de cargar y termine prediendo el recobery

O sea, que te quedaste sin recovery? El telefono no arranca?
Lo que flasheaste primero fue una rom o un firmware? (.zip con recovery o con el RSDLite?)
lo primero que flashe fue la rom ics v2.0 con el ramfixtest (creo que el ram fix fu lo que daño mi equipo) despues intente flashear el sbf foyo

Looks like he flashed AtrICS with the ramfix and then flashed the oficial Froyo .sbf file with RSDlite.
Any ideas?

No puede ser el ramfix, quizá se flasheo mal la sbf. Acá todos hablan en ingles, se va a complicar que te puedan ayudar. Proba con la sbf de Ginger o pregunta directamente en grupoandroid porque nuestro Atrix es internacional, acá te van a decir que lo brickeaste.
