hook up multiple ps3 controls? - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Is there a way to hook up multiple ps3 controls to play two player games? I tried two via bluetooth but the controls are synced under one port.

Have you tried one with bluetooth and the other with wired usb through the dock?

yes I have tried to hook up one bluetooth and one wired. It still linked to one port so basically 2 controls control one thing.

Bump?
Like really, what's the point of having Tecmo if I can only play the computer?

Interested as well

Bump. Still interested ^_^

Maybe this will help?

Will have to try when I get back to my controllers. But thanks.
I never did understand the whole keyboard portion, but I guess it's not just for keyboards but manual setups in general. I've always used the "native" setting thinking that's just how it had to be done lol

Did you figure your issue out? Mine is working fine after disabling the native option in SixAxis.
Now if only we could map the right joystick! I need my C buttons for N64 games!

Nothing like SOTI Controller for Android

SOTI Controller for Windows Mobile was a great app.
I am surprised that no one has come out with something like that for A.
There is droid VNC beta, but it doesn't work, mostly.
There is also screencast, haven't tried this one but it requires USB connection.
I'd be glad to pay for the app which would give the full image/control from the PC to the A device.
196 views and not a single comment.
Am I the only one wanting such an app?
I'm guessing pretty much yes. Lots of people want to control their PC from their android, but not the other way round

[Q] Xbox Compatible

I was thinking of getting this tablet to use as a universal remote. I wanted to know if anyone has used this tablet with controlling their Xbox 360 to turn on/off and select different apps and all? Is it just as universal as they say it is in all the reviews? Any feedback is helpful. Thanks
It works as a universal IR (infrared) remote. Does the Xbox 360 have IR capabilities? I believe it's bluetooth, in which case it will not yet work as a bluetooth remote.

Yes Xbox does have IR capabilities, other logitech universal remotes work well with the Xbox. I'm trying to see if STS has the right code to control the Xbox.

You should just be able to create your own remote using the learning function. Good luck!

How is GTA?

Wondering if anyone has GTA 3 and can comment on the gameplay?
I also heard the oldschool cheat codes will work on this version, but only with the adition of a keyboard ... does the keyboard dock work for this?
Gameplay is super smooth, all effects are turned on. Connecting an Xbox controller is also supported by GTA 3 with no setup required.
Haven't tried any cheats, but the keyboard arrows work, if that helps.
Love it. a blast!!!
The game is amazing! Never played it on the PC before but I have been told that everything's original (which is a god thing). You can go from mission to mission or also just drive around which is incredibly fun as well.
Perfect scenario for me: playing it on the Transformer with keyboard (+ mouse), works great and it a lot more comfortable that using the on screen controls. Most cheats from the PC also work and - although I haven't tried it- even patches work by changing files in the data folder. I just have one patch applied that improves the graphics overall (colours and details).
There's no sound for me, I assumed it was like that for everyone?
Otherwise it runs well, definitely recommend it but the lack of sound is a bummer.

Mine is smooth as butter.
Ran the GTA3 Full Effects Fix and added the Audio folder into the GTA folder.
Now I have rain, higher resolution, and other effects. Sound is enabled which allows me to switch radio stations in-game.
No lag.
I followed this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1400756
Hope this helps

How do you want to enter cheats/ text without a keyboard attached? Or do you just mean the Transformer Dock? I use a Logitech keyboard and cheats work (at least most).

Sad to hear... Did you try both the keyboard mapping and touch emulation?
(I haven't gotten the touch emulation to work with any program)
I didn't try to do the keyboard yet. I will try it later tonight.

WatchOn App: Xbox???

Glad I discovered this app! I was able to program my TV and A/V receiver no problem. I was able to add a 'Microsoft Steaming Cable Box' of some sort which kind of works for some commands (guide, scroll, ok, etc.) but not all commands. Is there way I can delete this and locate/add an actual Xbox to my devices? It would be nice to get the play/pause, skip & colored buttons to function properly too. I did some searching but can't seem to come up with any info on this.
Thanks for the help!

What I did was told the app during setup that I used a set top box for TV rather than the TV itself. Then it will show a half dozen or so popular options. On the bottom is button to show more. Click that and the in the text field search for Microsoft. When it shows that as an option, click it. Pretty much everything will work including skip buttons on recorded programs and the guide and everything. Almost a perfect solution. It doesn't seem to want to allow you to power the device on/off as well as a few other functions but for the most par the popular options work.
WatchOn is a 1/2 assed app. It is beta at best. There is no Xbox or Windows Media Center support. If you program more then 1 room the secondary rooms guides stop working. Its a great idea but horrible execution.

I feel like a fair amount of effort was put into this app to just abandon it. I mean, it's SO close to being something great that it couldn't require that much more effort to polish it further. The possibilities are limitless. I was trying to get a Kenwood A/V receiver to match up to the code for my Kenwood nav unit in my truck with no luck. I was hoping that I could have another 'room' set up with any random TV and then a Kenwood receiver so that I could do the most basic controls from my phone. Volume, play, pause & skip. I have steering wheel controls so it's not something I would likely use often if at all but it would be cool to have. The ability to add a 'game system' as a device though would go a long ways in most people's systems. We have 4 Xbox 360's throughout our home to stream everything from recorded TV programs, downloaded, TV, movies & other video so for us our 360's are the center piece of our home entertainment. Not being able to add the most important device to control fully is a real damper on using this app for us.

Secondary room guides work for me. Im betting Watchon not being able to work with 360 is because of microsoft not the app. Hell no one can release a wireless gamepad for the xbox, the wireless capabilities are exclusively for their controllers. Theyre stingy like that.

Not true. I've got 4 Harmony Logitech Universal remotes that I've used for years that control the 360's perfectly in every way.

It's just IR. I have a Harmony 300 that works with it great.
Yeah they probably licensed logitech to use their stuff. Like I said though try finding a mad catz or another aftermarket brand wireless 360 controller. Theyre stingy like that.

I agree. I actually really like the app if they would just put half the effort logitech has into making it work with nearly every device. Then add some customizable buttons and you would have a perfect app.

Thanks, I got it mostly working. I thought I had looked in every menu for Microsoft, but I must have missed the settop setup or something. It still won't let me type in numbers greater than 999, but i guess it is better than nothing. And you saw the second page of buttons too, right? If not there is a second page that does have the colored buttons. But I don't know if they work.
Actually, to be honest, I would pay for content discovery with my media center. Just no one will make an app like watchon for media center. At least Not that I have found.
