I think I'm dumb but... how to get into Xperia Home preferences?

Modded SystemUI works perfect on stock rom .587
I like this mod, i'm using it but i preffer the clock on the right corner (not centered). Is there any way to get this mod? Thanks in advance

Long press on the home screen you can notice home icon at the top under status bar thats it
Sent from my LT15i using xda app-developers app

has there been any problems with the mod?

I don't use ICS anymore, so can't check for errors. Everything used to work fine for me when I ported this!
Better try it out and post feedback here.

Report: modded systemUI works fine for me on .587 stock rom, not FCs at all (I tried everything). I didn't try Xperia S Home cause I'm using apex launcher and I'm happy with it!

can you send me the status_bar_expanded.xml you edited like your mod ? Thanks !

OP Updated!
Tested on stock .587 and everything is working perfectly. :victory:

Instructions for manual installation on Xperia MDPI devices:
Before you install it, you must check for two system dependencies, see imgs:
and
If you are running the GB 2.3.4 firmware or ICS you should have these files.
TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK !!
Clearing predefined system settings xml´s folder for Home.apk:
- Check for this path in your /system: /system/etc/customization/settings/com/sonyericsson/home
- If the /home folder is there, just delete it (only /home) !!!
Now install:
1 - Download choosen attached apk (v7_???_Home.apk) and put it on your sdcard.
2 - Rename it to Home.apk
3 - Download attached v7_HomePreferences.apk and put it on your sdcard.
4 - Rename it to HomePreferences.apk
5 - Using Root Explorer copy both files to /system/ (mount /system as R/W)
6 - Change both files permissions to rw-r--r-- like img:
7 - Long press on Home.apk and select Move
8 - Paste Home.apk on /system/app/ and replace original apk
9 - Long press on HomePreferences.apk and select Move
10 - Paste HomePreferences.apk on /system/app/
11 - Reboot you phone
Important (after reboot)
12 - Go to "Config >> Applications >> Manage Applications >> All", tap on "Xperia Home" and select "Clear Data" (you need to rearrange your widgets)
VERY IMPORTANT
Home.apk and HomePreferences.apk work together and they should be in the /system folder!!
Or simple create a flashable .zip with choosen apk version and flash it on recovery with CWM !
To create your own flashable .zip:
1 - Download attached v7_(Place_Home.apk_Here_Before_Flash)_Update.zip
2 - Download choosen attached apk (v7_???_Home.apk) and put it on your computer
2 - Rename it to Home.apk
3 - Open v7_(Place_Home.apk_Here_Before_Flash)_Update.zip with WinRAR and go to \system\app\ folder
4 - Drag Home.apk from your computer and drop it on \system\app\ WinRAR folder
5 - Close v7_(Place_Home.apk_Here_Before_Flash)_Update.zip file
6 - Ok (rename it if you want)
To do:
- Vietnamese translations
- Hungarian translations
- Chineese translations
- HDPI versions
If you like, press thanks...

I will release v2 soon with several tweaks, and blurry background is one of them. Thanks again.
See new v2...
I replaced the Home.apk with your, and now it wont open.
I don't know what I did wrong, I used it before, but I had to reflash my phone, and now, this happens.
Basically, I can't access any app, since app drawer is down.
What should I do now?
Something with ADB?

Woow dude, great job, it is awesome. I like very much the options that you have added, and the appearance! Congratulations
So I gotta question, have you added the option to resize widgets like the image that you uploaded in the another post?
Your launcher will be fantastic with that option!!
Thanks for your job. It is great!

It only works on calendar widget. I think it's widget-dependent.
I tried add the music widget and the Home show a toast: widget already added, even without another music widget.
Nice work dude, as always. We gonna see sexy Androids in our pockets.
Thanks again and again.
Edit: wait wait. The problem was caused because i already have the widget but it was hidden when i select the number of desktops to 1.
That's great. thanks for share.

Also, the center homescreen changes as you change the number of homescreens unlike the previous versions. But not really a big issue for me.
help
Seraj would like to ask a favor.
could you please modify the HomeActivity.smali on my Home.apk to have the auto-rotate function?
would appreciate it too :good:

Did not work
Now I'm still with the test version... Why is overlapping present in my phone and no in the screenshots?
Thumbsup buddy... great job!!!
@serajr....
been testing your new home launcher on my XMP....so far the only bug i found is the notifications number...just a yellow dot notification on incoming message/call n etc....
regarding landscape mode, i haven't try it (cause i really wish you can made option to portrait only in homescreen while drawer to auto-rotate=force rotation)....
on resizing widget, i notice not all widget can be resized...only a few on them can....
overall a very good :good: v1 for ICS....i hope the next version will be much better....
can someone tell me whats the last attached file "v1_ICS_Xperia_S_Home_Update.zip"
thankyou, thankyou so much serajr, this MOAL is very good

I´ve removed indicators free space to increase row height to stock default 100dip (like original xperia s). Test version has this free space.

Tested and adopted !
A few remarks and ideas if you can or want modify some things, see the screenshot :
- 1 : center the widget buttons (I only use four buttons and they start on the left otf the screen)
- 2 : no text under the buttons
- 3 : if text for the battery, no icon shown
- 4 : is it possible remove (or move) the setting button ? the clear notification button is too close of it.
- 5 : why 4G ?
hi bro,
can this use on xperia ion ? i got my ray and use its cool! ...wanna use for my ion too if can ...

Any Jellybean/AOSP interface mod for Gingerbread?
I couldnt find any Jellybean mod for Gingerbread. It's always ICS that I found. ICS is full of bugs, especially the annoying wifi authentication problem, and not good for playing games. Gingerbread is stable.
So can you point me on how to use this on my Gingerbread 2.3.4 (.62) on my xperia ray? Maybe i can modify it a little and make it work. I want to modify the whole interface like jelly bean status bar and settings menu, also a jelly bean lockscreen (not the holo locker, i dont want an app).
Maybe something to do with the framework-res.apk ?

It's for any Stock based ROM.
Tried with JJ rom, got FCs every time trying to restart the systemUI, i guess that's because the one in JJrom already got modded with RomControl from AOKP and it related to other stuff.
Ok on Arcatarc superleggera
Installed on top of superleggera and got very strange graphics due to remaining system ui odex file.
This mod works fine after deleting this odex file from /system/app (I also did clean cache + dalvik + fix permissions - not sure it helped).
1 note (but I don't care): I disabled battery percentage but it remains displayed after reboot.
Thanks for the work !
