I saw that my old SGS have like two different Android 4.2 roms but why is there no 4.2 for the S3? Is it because Samsung haven't released sources for drivers or something like that?
Reason 1: codeworkX (cm10 dev) has quit developing for the galaxy s3. Because Samsung won't give up exynos 4 source codes.
Reason 2: The source code for android 4.2 has Just been released so don't go thinking a fully working rom with no bugs will be out anytime soon for the s3 (maybe December)
Reason 3: Samsung are busy developing android 4.1.2 at the moment, so we can expect android 4.2 by around February 2013.
we will start seeing android 4.2 ROM'S for the galaxy s3 gt i9300 very soon. no matter if we have the exynos sources or not our devs are great at what they do so we will still get cm10.1 (unofficial) and AOKP (official) and also somepure AOSP roms. As for official sammy 4.2- as i said next year no eta.

Trust me you really don't want 4.2 on your phone,I've never seen so many complaints about any Android update as I have 4.2 just check the Nexus 7 forums to see,maybe when more custom ROM,s appear and perhaps resolve the bugs might I update

Youre being far too whiny. I've owned the galaxy s previously and when Samsung dropped support for ics, people were complaining, but they certainly weren't whining about it all the time, because we knew we could get whatever we needed from xda, and because we knew it Samsung, just like other android oems, aren't that great with updates.
If you wanted the latest in everything when it comes to updates, you should have just gone with the lousy apple.
Otherwise, just realise that for android, updates take time.
No one said we weren't gonna get the new gallery, though no one said we were either.
Also, this information has been discussed in the jb thread already.

Just wait a little and we will probably all get the update.
Or flash the note 2 gallery from our themes section.. sheesh

As stated in the previous post both the Note Camera and Gallery apps can be flashed to your S3 and the apks can be found in the themes section

Seems that we wouldn't get android 4.4 update because of our omap4430 cpu. As TI quitted mobile bussiness, it is possible don't update the kernel drive. But if google glass get the update, it is possible for our L9 to have it.

I disagree. Android is partly built around the open source mentality. One of the reasons that some phones don't get more than 2 years support is because the manufacturer has not released proper sources. I think it's in customers' responsibility to shoot emails to manufacturers and ask for proper sources as obliged by GPL.
Android phones with proper sources are still being supported even if (some of them) they are 5 years old. Just take a look on CM nightly support. A semi-open source scheme is close to perfect to be the one that's getting the most support as long as the manufacturers do what the law obliges them... In fact I don't think that many embedded systems (other than certain android phones) have got more support in the long term.
We haven't even gotten lollipop 5.1.1 update yet so I doubt we will be getting any marshmallow update any time soon!!
