XPERIA x10 boot stuck - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey everyone
I'm sorry for bringing this up if there's a post already out there the same as mine but i cant find a solution due to facts that others dont have and i do.
First of all i am a freshly noob when it comes to android because i have never had neither checked much how it is so i am not familiar with android.
Now my problem is that i have a xperia x10 that i bought from ebay...it had a broken screen, which i replaced it already.
And it came with this SE boot logo stuck too.
So how do i fix this?
I already checked the guide but my phone still wont show or install the drivers.
But i might missed out some points i think
What to do?!

I would suggest trying to go into recovery mode. I'm not sure how it is done on your phone, but recovery mode will have options.

IM A NOOB! Help with my Acer Liquid Mini E310 boot up problem.

Glad to be a member of XDA-dev!
Hi guys, I am not sure if I am following the rule of the furom but I dont know what to post for the 10 post rule since " I AM REALLY A NOOB!"
I am new to the android and rooting world. I hope that the Admin and the Mods will be able to understand this post as to what I am getting through right now.
I have a problem with my Acer Liquid Mini E310. I hope that someone will be able to help me here! ( I am sure that someone should have the answer to this)
When a friend of mine introduced rooting to me, I was amaze on what it can change and what it can do to your android phone. I've read xda forum post on how I can root my Acer Liquid Mini E310 and I have also read about the danger it could cause to your device (brick). I did not really put in mind that I will be causing my phone to be bricked since I am sincerely and precisely following all the instructions in everypost that I have gone through. I have rooted my phone in a good way and it worked for 2 months of use, rooted.
There was a time that I've read about font changer on what it could do to customized your phone fonts. I did tried downloading GO Laucher and one of its feature is changing the fonts on the GO Launcher settings page. I was amaze by it and I got the idea of getting my rooted Acer Liquid Mini E310 to change its system fonts. I went to market and downloaded "FONT CHANGER by MARTIN". I applied the settings and the app requested for my phone to be rebooted.
When the phone went to boot up it stuck to the Acer logo with the 3 android icons on the screen. I tried hard resetting it by holding Power, Volume down and Camera button and let it vibrate 3 times. It did reset /data and /cache then reboot but when it boot up it will stay on the same screen with the Acer logo with the 3 androids icon.
I did tried to read some posts here and I got this post about Odin 3. This software needs a .PIT and another file that is needed to be input so that it will be able to download and fix the problem. I dont know which and where I can download those files.
I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! I know that its a big mistake for me since I didnt really studied rooting before proceeding on rooting my phone but I hope you can help me out on this. I really dont have the financial capability to get a new phone right now. Please guys.
Any suggestions would do. Thanks in advance.

If you have still problem with your device than go to acer site and download gingerbread 2.3.5 version and try to install on your device but before you install on your device you have to swtich your phone to download mode ( Voluem down + Power on key) before do this thing you have to shutdown your phone.

[Q] app changed system files, stuck on bootup

Dear xda forums.
Unortunatedly, this is my first post and i will be asking for help rather than helping :/
So... my father came in a week ago with a chinese android phone that i cant tell what phone it is trying to replicate exactly.... thing is, no matter how much i look for this phone i cant find anything about it, i already searched a lot on how to fix this proble but to no avail...
I can give more details if you need them), but basically this is my problem:
I got a chinese phone that runs on 4.2.2, and after working a lot, i managed to install supersu via framaroot(superuser would not work properly).
Thing is, being the inpatient person i am, before backing up anything, or installing a recovery rom or any costum rom, i decided to check some apps that required root.
I downloaded the app anim mod *root* because i thought it was a good idea to change the animations of my phone
HERES THE PROBLEM i used this app and i could see how it was changing things in my system files, it then asked for a reboot, and now it wont get past the boot animation and it freeses right there, i can enter factory mode(which is in chinese and i did look up for a translation) and recovery mode:
In both modes i was able to reset the phone but the problem is still there, ive literally have been searching whole days now and i am quite frustrated.
My question: what should i do to fix this? i have root but no recovery rom , so is there a way i can install a costunm rom just to try?
If the case is that i changed a system file (animations) how can i change them through my pc? does a reset from the stock recovery reset the system files aswell?
I am new to this, but i am willing to learn and try everything that could fix this.
If anyone wants to help, you can ask me whatever you want, i can upload pictures if you want to help me identify it or the specs i managed to get from factory mode.
the phone says it is an alps model a76, but thi phone is nowhere to be found help me please

[Q] My Mini Pro is stuck on the Sony Screen

Hi guys,
I've tried to flash CM 11 based on kitkat maybe 2 days ago, but something went wrong and my phone is stuck on the SONY logo since then.
Everything I try to do, it's just getting me to the sony logo.
I try to restart it taking away the battery, Sony logo; I try to flash something else, flashboot does not see the device and guess what? Sony logo.
After a while the phone has gone in black screen and the led is blinking in red, so i guess the battery is down.. I go to plug it to the charger and... my old friend SONY logo!
I tried Linux, Windows, Flastool, SEUS, PCC.... windows only sees that something is connected on the usb port, but it does not recognize the device.
Is there something else I can do?
Thanks in advance for your help

Seeing how you're mentioning that your phone is stuck at the Sony logo, I'll assume that you haven't flashed the kernel provided at all and is proceeding with the stock kernel. Here's a few questions to see where you're at:
Did you root your phone in the first place? If you had, did you unlock your bootloader?
If answer to both is yes, can you please explain the steps you took for flashing Kitkat? All I can assume is that you might have erased your system and that your phone is stuck in a bootloop...

Rooting is not necessary for this process. Unlocking bootloader and installing the kernel are.
You need to install the provided kernel for CM11. Stock ICS kernel, with the Sony Logo, won't work with CM11

You realy should state what you did. You have flashed custom kernel, provide the link or at least exact title of the thread you had it from.
What else have you done?
Adb won't work untill the phone boots or with some custome kernels, in recovery.
You can flash stock kernel.

Dead XPeria X10 Mini after flashing bad rom from flashing tool. Hard bricked? :(

Hello everyone!
Need some help, I'm totally new to android hacking stuff and think messed up my phone, it's sure an old one but I loved it so much I don't want it to die.
So here's the point, yesterday I rooted it, worked fine, after that I unlocked the bootloader, always fine, but the problems began when I tried installing a custom recovery, didn't find a suitable one for the phone so I found RecoverX, and installed the CWM-Based Recovery 5.0.2.7 (ICS), after it done installing the phone was never able to boot anymore, I got stuck on a bootloop so I was searching for the original firmware, I found one and it worked after that, except the touchscreen was not working, so after reading some threads I realised that I installed a firmware who's not made for my phone version. Then I tried flashtool again and installed the built-in version or don't know what it is just for seing if it was able to restore the firmware since it said "X10". After that the phone turned off and wasn't able to boot anymore, the power button doesn't respond, no vibration, no backlight, no LED, and it isn't detected but the computer anymore, I tried flash mode and all other thing but nothing.
Is it dead? Can't I repair it anymore? Based on some reasearch I think it's hard bricked but can't find a solution.
Please help. Can I repair it by myself by doing some testpoint stuff or I don't know, I'm just too new about this, I just began yesterday.
PS: sorry for my bad english.
Thanks for you answer.
