Where to Register Your Nokia 920? - Nokia Lumia 920

Hello,
Does anyone have a link to where we can register our Nokia 920s? I looked all over the Nokia site but can't find it. I was told that the warrant period begins once you register the phone. But I can't figure out where register it lol.

Way to get traction on an interop unlock?

Hey everyone,
Just had an idea today that we should pledge donations to Heathcliff74 if he could get us an interop unlock for the Lumia 800. I think he was very close to getting it before the Network Setup software got updated. I personally would throw in $30 for it, anyone else willing to do the same?
Also, if anyone could explain to me how to dump apps off of a phone, I could provide a copy of Network Setup 1.13.0 for the tinkering types to have a go at.
He got given a free Nokia Lumia 800 a couple of weeks ago as did four other top xda developers/hackers so I'm pretty sure it and other projects are being worked on as we speak.

SIM unlock Nokia Lumia 710?

Anyone knows of a good way to SIM unlock the Nokia 710 for free via an exploit or program?
It's literally too new, nowhere will be able to unlock it yet. Cellunlocker.net are due to have codes for the 710 within a couple weeks, but I reckon it will take even longer than this.

Guess I'll play the waiting game....
Dude, it won't take long, seriously. I'm going to email cellunlocker.net again tomorrow to see if there's any progress.

I think they (cellunlocker) can unlock it on some networks right now anyways, it's only the more stubborn ones (O2 UK) that are a bit more tricky and take longer. If you're in the states then check with them now as they might be able to do it.
I tried cellunlocker and they couldn't do my 710 on Vodafone, so gave me a refund.
Currently waiting on Vodafone to get an unlock code for me (it was the same price with them anyway). Apparently Vodafone just put the request in with Nokia themselves so should be more successful.
Vodafone issue N95 unlocking tutorial for Lumia 710 - FAIL!
OK! I unbelievably got my Lumia 710 unlock code from Vodafone with 8 hours (yes! I said 8 hours). GREAT!!
...until you try to put the code in the phone. The code issued uses an old Symbian style code starting with #pw+, however it is impossible to enter the pw+ symbols using the WP7 dialpad. And just make sure it is more difficult than ever they link to an N95 unlocking tutorial.
Tried:
entering the code with the dial pad - no joy
creating a contact with the unlock code as part of their details - no joy
only entering the numerical parts of the code - no joy
No luck with these so I sent Vodafone email request to sort it out so I will keep you posted as to what's happening. That said, I'm not convinced they'll come back with anything as this seems to have been going on since December looking at some of the Nokia forums.
I tried putting in another network's SIM to trigger the 8 digit pin unlock prompt but strangely nothing happened. So either the Lumia 710 was shipped unlocked (again something I'd heard on the forums and a wasted £20) or the BT SIM card I used is accepted by the Vodafone networks as BT is an MVNO piggy-backing Vodafone.
I suspect the unlock codes issued are incorrect so trying to uses another more featured dialpad from the WP7 marketplace to enter the code would probably be pointless.
I suppose it's a question of sittingg this one out until WP7 - Vodafone - Nokia sort this out and start issuing 8 digit unlock codes.

AFAIK, you can check the unlock-state on the 800 via ##782#. You can try this on your phone as well.
Sent from my Lumia 800 using Board Express

Paid $30 for an unlock code and got nowhere, but a refund so that was good.

[Q] Unlocking an AT&T 920?

So, I have some relatives who lives in the US who can buy me a cyan 920 in December which is unavailable outside the US. The US pricing is also impressive since the no-contract version costs just $449 unlike the actual version that will come here (Indonesia) at about $649 and by about January or something. I also found this website which can unlock the 920 for $49.99. Should I take the plunge?
http://www.cellunlock.net/Unlock_AT_T_Nokia_Lumia_920_p/unlockattn920.htm
I would do more research on the internet to see if the website is actually legit. The places I get my unlock codes are from eBay from Top Sellers.
For the AT&T Lumia 900, they have unlock codes on eBay, but you have to complete the two year contract.
There might be a way to unlock the phone.
If your relatives can call AT&T confirming you can get the phone unlocked if they buy it outright (full retail price)
I think you should be able to get it unlocked if you pay full price.
Also I found this site who afirm they will unlock it too.
http://www.gsmunlockusa.com/u-s-a-at-t-nokia-lumia-610-710-800-820-900-920(1-3-days)-p-908.html
Hope someone can try and confirm if this one is a trusted site.
Unfortunately, AT&T is not being very helpful regarding unlocking the 920. Even when paid full-price. I don't intend on actually buying the phone with contract, but I just want to know if you guys have similar success/fail stories since this will be the first time for me to unlock phones. (also the reliability of the websites would be awesome)
PS. I also wonder where these websites get the unlock codes from, and what would happen if those codes would not work.
when the first generation of Windows Phones arrives, i bought a Samsung Focus V1.3 (which is my actual phone) and i get the unlock code from FastGSM. I ask them for the unlock code for Lumia 920 and i get this response:
Hello,
sorry but the unlocking service is not available yet for this phone model.
Kind regards,

the word "yet" makes me think that unlock codes arent far away.
Cellunlock, net is reputable website - I have gotten unlock codes for many a phone through them. Only once, they were not able to get an unlock code for me, but they refunded my money promptly.
For the AT&T 920, they do claim a turnaround time of 5-10 days. I'm not sure why it is so long, but do you want to wait that long to find out?
BTW, if you do decide to go with Cellunlock.net, use the code "CRACKB50" for 50% off on the unlock price.
Hope some AT&T Lumia owner try to unlock it. If they unlock it, i can buy my own lumia and use it in my country with no risk. BTW, using the voucher code from rajeshr the unlock code cost 19.99.
Edit: I found other service for unlock rogers devices
http://unlock.canadagsm.ca/nokia/Nokia-Lumia-920-LTE-network-unlock/
don't know if canadagsm is a trusted site, but again, some one can try it.

Reputable site, but they don't have any unlock codes as yet. I got an email from them this morning stating that and asking me to wait for another 2-3 days. I guess we'll wait and see.

ive had two lumia 920's and ATT actually sent me the unlock code for the first one! However, I think the CSR made a mistake when submitting my request, because when I received the unlock code it says its for a Lumia 900.
Did it work? I'm not sure because I have already exchanged the phone for another color!
I submitted another request for the second phone, but promptly received a notice saying they wont unlock because of the exclusivity period.
@rohitgarewal: How did you ask for the unlock code and for what reasons?
@BigwaveMx: Were you able to use tethering with other carriers after the unlock?
Thanks, btw for the replies!
i haven't (yet) a lumia 920. Still waitting to buy the unlock code for use it in my country. However, I read in some places that there is a problem with tethering in AT&T and Rogers devices. For me, is not a big deal have tethering. I bealive the international version works fine.
Hi
Hi, anyone got the unlock code? What do you think about that: ht t p : / / blogs.msdn.com/b/zxue/archive/2012/11/11/sim-pin-and-pin-unlock-key-puk-code-on-your-nokia-lumia-920.aspx Developer unlock, is this work?
Got 20 digit code from ATT
I called and requested an unlock code to use the phone while traveling abroad (Bought the phone at full price). I did get an 20 digit unlock code but it didn't work. Called them back and they said they will send a new request. I'll let you know how it goes.

I don't think the developer unlock is the same as network unlock. From what I read on that link, developer unlock allows you to sideload (using an Android term; i.e. not from the market) apps for development and testing. It does not say anything about unlocking the phone for other carriers.

will this work if I have no at&t account?
Any news about the unlocking for AT&T devices? Still looking for a cheap unlocked Lumia but can't find anything cheapper than $777 US
Expansys USA is apparently selling the AT&T branded 920 unlocked for $620. Can't post links yet, not enough posts. It is recently went from "We have no confirmed lead time for this item" to "Stock Usually Ships In 10 Days." This looks like a very attractive choice, if you don't mind the att logo I'm considering buying one of these.
Ok, i will check it. Thanks for the heads!
I found a new service to unlock AT&T lock. Sadly I haven't any IMEI code to test. Maybe someone can try it. Btw, I doesn't know if is a trusted site.
http://www.unlockitnow.com/Nokia/Lumia_920_unlock_code.php
I've been emailing every site I find that says they can unlock the phones..
So far they have all replied negatively.
I just emailed your site and I'm waiting on a reply now.
I also called AT&T and gave them a sad story.. hoping that they would sympathize with me and give me the code.
That didn't work either
After I get a response from these guys.. I'll post up a list of all the sites I've tried.

My phones is directly from Nokia and I need it unlocking ASAP. Nokia is shut til Monday.

Even if you find a site, based on recent post since the rush has settled, most site are taking between 3 and 7 days now. So just wait for Nokia to open Monday.
