I have the mean bean Rom and my gtalk doesn't load online all my contacts are grayed out and my gmail doesn't push emails and auto sync is turned on?

what rom are you using let me know if you find a fix because i love mean bean but these two are making me upset that they aren't working
I seem to come across a fix that has got my GTalk up and running and my GMail syncing..
I cleared the app data for
-Google Play Store
-Gmail
-Talk
-Google Services Framework
Then I rebooted the phone and it asked for the google location for gps blah blah i said ok and then they started working hope this helps for those who had the same problem!

Details would help, are you using a stock rom or custom, stock messaging or third party, are you using Google voice, if so did you select full integration?

Well I was hoping you would say Google voice, they forward mms to Gmail. I don't know what could cause it other then maybe having mms forward to Gmail from your account address. Last I checked sprint was getting rid of the personal account address for picture mail though

Did you look in general settings in messaging app? There a setting there to forward to emails or another number.
I've never noticed that, right there in general settings, good to know
Yes I have google voice. I selected full integration. Is that why mms is coming in to gmail ?

check your settings on google voice, check the native messaging app as well just to make sure that one isn't fowarding them. If you still can't, just go to gmail and create a folder for mms and tell gmail to route all the mms to that folder and it should kill any email notifications
I went back to 4.1.2 recently and while I was trying to do the google setup I noticed I forgot to flash the at&t modems so my wifi wasn't working, I went back to flash it and when I reboot my google setup had been complete only with no restore on anything, I think I lost all my contacts no apps, but maybe if I can restart google setup I can restore them?anyone know how without reflash?

Can you see your contacts if you sign in to Google on a PC? You said you can't remove the account in Accounts & Sync? Why not? Does it give you some sort of error?

Good question, but at least you know they aren't lost. I would try to find out why you can't remove that account. If you could remove it, then add it back, they should sync. If all else fails, you could reflash.
I got jellybean installed but i skipped the google login stuff at the beginning. I logged in to the play store but my phone is not working correctly. My purchased apps are not showing up. Anyone help on how to get my phone to log into google services correctly now?

So I have just gone to CM 10.1 and I really like it other than the fact that it won't add my contacts. I have them synced with my Google account but they won't sync onto CM. And I can't get backup assistant plus so how do I get my contacts?

To verify, are your Google services set to auto sync? When does it say your contacts were last synced?
Thanks for the reply. About time someone at least said something. Anyway I had figured it out earlier today. Yes they were synced but for some reason my phone was only syncing 1 of my contacts with Google. It said the others were on my phone and not Google. I guess I just assumed they were all on Google by default. So I merged my phone contacts with Google and it worked
