[Q] Mute - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When i put my S3 on Silent it mutes all of the sound apart from the Music, Video, Games and other media sound. Is there a way to change this so it will mute everything?

Use volume buttons, there's a media option.

If everything fails, use an app which does that

[Q] Ringing in headphones while playing music.

I'm running the CM7 test2 rom and when I plug in my headphones i get a ring tone and music at the same time. Not sure why this would happen unless maybe it starts the stock player playing the ring tone and then allows power amp to play music as as well.
anybody else run into this?
Place a call and then end it.

Thanks, I'll remember that. I couldn't reproduce it today.

Music app and Bluetooth

Hi. I use Rdio as my main music app. Whenever I plug my car stereo to my phone via Bluetooth I tries to play a song from the Play Music app. Since I doesn't have any songs in it, have to take my phone off my pocket and start Rdio manually. And of course I can't control the songs nor they appear the name correctly.
Is there anyway to make Rdio the main app so it starts automatically?
Is there a way to control (play, pause, change songs) and make it show the name on the screen?
Thank you very much.

Media briefly playing in speaker with headphones plugged in during notification

It seems like when a notification plays, it plays externally and in the headphones, but my media (music) also plays briefly in the speaker and then back to my headphones. I know notifications will usually play both, but it's annoying if my music plays on the speaker while I have headphones on.
Any way to fix this? Running 4.1.2 on the P.A.C.Man ROM.

LGOG Running DVHexer's CM 10.1, Bluetooth volume issue

I'm having some issues with my bluetooth volumes and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to help. Specifically when I pair my phone with my car's stereo for turn by turn directions using Google Nav and then listen to music using play music the directions get blown out by the music. The music volume does decrease while the turn by turn voice speaks, but the voice nav is so much quieter than the music. Is there anyway I can increase the Nav volume independently from the music? How about a music app I can adjust the volume of the app itself? Thanks in advance!

Navigation

When connected to Bluetooth, and music from the stock app is playing, navigation voice does not come through completely. Only partial words will be said or nothing at all, only muting my music. If music is turned off, it works normally. Any ideas?
