There are 2 apps I've used. Spare Parts and CPU Spy.
I found a good one after all and was able to control some hogs. Android Assistant breaks it down nicely.

does the galaxy s2 with live wallpaper make the phone slow down when scrolling through apps?
Didn't notice a difference in speed.
No not really because Samsung is using the gpu acceleration for the UI

U R Right, the battery does drain faster if using any live wallpapers.
I used to notice a slow down on my captivate but none at all on the gs2.

Hello, my battery started draining really fast recently, and in the usage statistics, it says 41% is due to cell standby, followed by 15% screen. Before the screen was the most draining factor. Anyone have an idea what's going on?

I did use almost 4hours n screen was on...auto brightness
Messaging,call and browsing ..
I would say thats good. I get around 3 1/2 hours of screen time on the stock rom.

You had 4 hours of screen on? Then your battery life is awesome. Otherwise provide a screenshot from that.

I don't use auto brightness but my brightness is only at about 15-20% of the way along the slider and I get over 5 hours screen on time. I'm on li8 with siyah kernel.

okay.i was using stock rom but battery was draining alot
So I installed ROM][4.1.2][YP-G70]PARANOID ANDROID v2.57.4- March 07 Update, so far so good, what i notice is that the Camera does not work, is there a fix to this? Also, does anyone know how long it takes for the device to charge?
For a full charge from around 20% mine usually takes about 5 hours.
As for the camera, it's a known issue with no eta. Kernel issues, I believe.
