Whenever I try to make a backup using carbon it says I'd need to set the desktop backup password blank, but I already tried that a few times and it always gives me the same error.
What do I need to do to make it work?
I'm using an xperia s on ics.

My Xperia Neo V is rooted.
I tried unlocking the bootloader...not sure if it is unlocked or not.(How can i check that).
After (say) 1 week , i opened up my camera and it said "Camera not available".
Even 3D Sweep Panorama ain't working.
I tried clearing up the defaults in settings>applications>manage>com.***********.camera .. gave no result.
Help.
And another thing , i also tried to flash a ROM which is working in Xperia Neo.(Don't remember but i guess it's CM7)
I think , the problem occurred because the camera resolution of Neo and Neo V is different or also the firmware is different.I didn't knew that this would cause such a problem.
Did a Factory Data Reset , still no help.
Suggestions .. ?
Emergency.. it's been only a month i got my Neo V.
Flash it with neo v rom.
Or relock bootloader and update with seus or pc companion.

Could'nt find a Neo V Rom.
Already Updated with SE PC Companion (2.3.4 - The latest build)
Also tried repairing it with SE PC Companion but it says "Server Overloaded" *blah blah blah*.
And is it possible to relock bootloader even if i unlocked it via unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com...i meant to say officially?
If you unlocket BT you cant recive updates and cant use companion (wont work).
Also you cant flash custom rom without have unlocked bt.
If you unlock it over that site you cant relock it. I don't know what you had do.

Vignette, hdr camera, 360camera...
And try rom manager fix permission. This sometimes helps.

as stated above try using any other camera applications available in the market.....
if they work then it is just a minor software glitch(we can think atleast camera libraries are available)

install the apk mentioned in this thread and you can see if your bootloader is locked or unlocked

I tried using camera360 but it says...turn on hardware mode then try or it just gives another option to close the app.
I relocked my bootloader via rtf file.
(unlocked it through Sony's site)

I am using SE Xperia RaY 4.0.4, stock rom,
Few days ago I uninstall TrackID using Titanium.
Yesterday I restore TrackID, it restore successfully. but when I try to open it, it show me error every time.
My Bootloader is Locked.

IMEI will not change whatever u do with ur phone. Except replacing motherboard...

Exactly. Samsung phone tends to lose imei when they flashed alot, thats why their imei can be backuped. But never heard of xperia phone loses imei due to flashing. And i do flash my phone, alot.
Exactly, even I wanted to know if Xperia phone can also have problem similar to Samsung. If yes then how to back up EFS folder.
From this discussion it seems that Xperia phones do not have this kind of issue.

The thing is whenever I restart the phone and the WiFi is on, it gets stuck and doesn't show networks. Until I turn it off and restart then it's all good again.
I tried different roms and the same problem is there.
Any fix for this?

Try to repair whit pc companion or flash stock rom whit flashtool.

But it worked previously so i dont get it. I copyed the apk file to system/data and still crashes, nothing changed. Thanks for the reply tho
Copying it won't fix it. Try repairing via pcc if your bootloader is still locked

Yes, my bootloader is still locked. But "changing permission or owner" way of the apk file wont make it work somehow?
No. Its something with the os in your phone. As i said, repair via pc companion but you will lose phone data so pls backup
