thanks for the reply was not that simple as others have experienced, but after a full factory flash you have to fastboot flash userdata and fastboot flash cache from the stock .img files manually.
this will get it to boot but still say its a 16gb, using fastboot -w did not work, but doing a settings reset factory reset did then return the internal storage to 32gb, was able then to reroot, install cwm then a customer rom with 32gb in tact.
happy days...
thanks the the help...

[Q] Internal SD card not accessible on RESURRECTION REMIX 1.8.1

Hi there!
I just switched from litening rom 2.7 with siyah 3.1.2 kernel to the newest version of ressurection remix rom 1.8.1. I did factory reset and all the cache wipes. All is working well and I must say that this is the best rom i've had so far...
Apart from the fact that my internal SD is not recognized (I don't have an external SD card). The internal SD is available in recovery mode, so i tried flashing the siyah kernel that was still on there. This didn't help. I have been searching in the FAQ but i seem to be the only one with this problem?
Does somebody have a solution?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick reply but that thread is not applicable to my situation.
I am having trouble accessing the internal memory of my s2, NOT the external SD (which I don't have). This total of 16 GB is divided in a partition for the operating system and apps on one side, and a partition for data (around 11 GB) on the other side. I can't access this last partition for some kind of reason..
I tried flashing other kernel and flashing the whole ROM again (with al wipes en factory reset)
Any suggestions?

If u go to Mnt/sdcard what do u see?
Using XDA Premium over Resurrection Remix ICS, the Best Rom ever made
just change the connection mode.
Settings - Storage Size - Clic on Menu Button - PC Connection - And select the one that you want
Thank you for your responses.
If i go to Mnt/sdcard it says "this folder is empty"
My internal SD can't be empty cause I just flashed the Ressurection ROM from it.
Changing the settings doesn't solve anything.

Internal Storage Clean up

Hi,
may be a noob question, but after flashing some roms (only wipe cache/dalwik,system,data -> not internal storage)
i have now under settings > storage :
7 GO used in internal storage with Android System 5.6 Go.
Is this normal ?
Or shall i do a clean up with either factory reset or flash again a rom with this time wipe internal storage (after some data backed up) ?
Thanks for reply.
Rodolphe
5.6 + 7 Go equals 12.6 Go, you may have some junk files in your internal storage.
Backup your media and wipe your internal storage
Hi i tried it but still 5.59 for android

Format SD Card as internal storage

Hi,
I tried to format the sd card as an internal storage, though I'm willing to sacrifice this sd card as permanently internal storage. 32gb is kinda not enough since I'm intended to use onedrive as offline usage (onedrive only save in internal storage in android).
I tried the ADB style, it is not working either. Do you guys have other method or proven ways to format sd card as internal., for this tab s3 especially.

For some inexplicable reason, Samsung disables "Adoptable Storage" on their devices; a system file (sm.jar, i believe) must be patched to enable it. This thread may help, but I would proceed extreme caution as it appears this patch is specific to Marshmallow:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/how-to/patch-adoptable-storage-enabler-t3507387
went to the link, it was made for Tab A with marshmallow, so far, I couldn't a way to do it for tab s3 with nougat.
Edit: nevermind.

It isn't made for the Tab A, it's universal as stated in the thread.
It may still work with nougat, I've had a couple of reports of success.

This most definitely does work with this device. I literally just installed it and it is working on a 64GB Sandisk Extreme Plux. It did boot loop once but afterwards recovered stock ROM due to encryption issues, tried another method (because the patch modifies the system and therefore triggers Samsung to say NOPE).
Do these Steps:
0) Download the patch off this thread.
1) Download ODIN from here.
2) Download TWRP from the TWRP Guide.
~~~Refer to the TWRP Guide. Again. Note you do NOT need root. Read the following but ignore the "root" parts.
To disable forced encryption, mount internal storage(DATA) and disable dm-verity:
(Note this MUST be flashed after SuperSU if you intend to root)
1. Boot to Twrp
2. Format Data partition using FORMAT DATA button under Wipe options.
(Note: This will wipe the internal storage)
3. Check DATA is mountable.
4. Install SuperSU (if root is required)
5. Install boot image patch below.
6. Reboot
Enabling it:
1) Put the following on your SD card root:
1: adoptable_storage_enabler_ashyx_13916
2: no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx
2) Use ODIN to flash TWRP.
3) Swipe to modify system settings.
4) FORMAT -> Data
5) Install -> External SD Card -> no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx
6) Install -> External SD Card -> adoptable_storage_enabler_ashyx_13916
Reboot.
Your system will be back to default and you will have the option for adoptable storage.
Would this work on JellyBean? Currently have one stuck in CWM recovery trying to get same result through rooting and using APP2SD, and partitioning the external SD. I have a new thread in this S3 forum.
Hi Guys. Im New to this, so please be gentle .
Enabling it:
1) Put the following on your SD card root:
4) FORMAT -> Data
5) Install -> External SD Card -> no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx
6) Install -> External SD Card -> adoptable_storage_enabler_ashyx_13916
Reboot.
I did this steps and it didnt work.
I got the "Set Warranty Bit: Kernel" Error and the boot was stuck.
Any Ideas what went wrong?
Originally I was going make a video of this to show, so folks here know how to do it, but forgot
I don't think I can bear spending another hour flashing stock to root again though (the first time I bricked it accidentally). But perhaps I will eventually, there at least two people here with this mod working so surely it can't just 3 of us with working shared storage. As always, you do this at your own risk.
Edit to add: Latest update is 09/28/17 and I'm using a firmware that's already 3 months behind.
2) I don't know if this is compatible with *your* model and I don't know anything about the variations of ROMS thereof, I'm just explaining how I did it, don't shoot the messenger.
Is there any easy option here then that won't brick my device? I've just purchased an S3 and I'm annoyied you can't use the SD card for internal storage. 32gb isn't a vast amount of space nowdays, why would Samsung turn off this option??
Wow, this is news to me and SO DUMB of Samsung to do this! What the hell would be the reason for this? If they're going to remove this feature, then this tablet should've came with at least 64gb. 32gb is weak for a $600 tablet!
No need for that. Don't download Lotta apps. Play one or two games at a time finish them. Use your phone for other stuff. I use tab mostly for HDR video Netflix Amazon and download on SD card 64 GB so no issues. 32 is actually good will save a ton of battery tab easily lasts 2 days with binge watching on speakers and 67 percentage or full brightness last about one and a half day
There is a developer option to force apps to move to SD card
how do u enable microsd card as internal storage on android 8.0 oreo? samsung t820
It is simple. Just flash the ZIP file which I attached here in Recovery and then you will be able to format SD card as Internal Storage.
*** If it is not working, you must need to FORMAT DATA to delete the encryption, so before of that - make a backup of all your files ***
I tested it on Android 13 and it is working perfectly.
Then you can use for example an app: APP2SD (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.co.pricealert.apps2sd) from Google Play to move apps to adopted storage (SD CARD)
Root Leagoo t10
So here's the tep by step guide how to Root Leagoo t10... (Thanks to coolkillermax for cooperation)
Unlock the bootloader (Unlock will Factory reset Erase all internal data so beware and backup you important DATA before do it)
1. install PdaNet drivers on your windows OS system (Ask google & get It)
2. download fastboot here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0MKgCbUM0itSUhpUklCTFpzWkE/view & instalL fastboot program folder than will get 4 files
2. turn off the phone
3. hold the volume up button and insert the usb cable to connect to the pc
7. now the phone asks if you really want to unlock it so put in yes using volume key to select
8. Phone will stuck or hang at Fastboot mode 3 selection, than if more than 5 minute just force press power button to reboot or give in the command on your PC "fastboot reboot"
8. The bootloader is unlocked (when starting, the phone shows that its been unlocked)
For root
1.Download TWRP here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By1jTvBbOoCxQ1JNZEkyYmt0dVU/view
2.Download SUperSU here http://www.supersu.com/download select latest Zip to download
4.Put SuperSU in phone internal storage or SD Card
5.boot to bootloader same method as above
6.Go into ADB folder press shift+right click mouse to "open command windows here" : command "fastboot boot TWRP.img"
7.You will see TWRP success & in TWRP install the SuperSU zip (I used 2.82)
8.reboot to system and enjoy...
(9. The TWRP recovery will be overwritten (if flashed, which we didn't in this guide) by the default recovery on boot but the Root will stay...)
At this point I already sold my Leagoo t10 so I won't be capable to test any new guides if asked...
no hay nada en la web del t10, es muy nuevo, estoy pensando en comprarmelo que te a parecido y la camara es buena de noche.
This issue is solved now... The way how to do it is described in the "leagoo t10 unlock bootloader" thread. Here's the link... https://forum.xda-developers.com/ge...bootloader-unlock-t3629793/page2#post73815413
Here is the full way how to do it...
1. Unlock the bootloader...
1.1 install PdaNet drivers on your win system (you will need also ADB and fastboot)
1.2 boot to bootloader
1.2.1 turn off the phone
1.2.2 hold the volume up button and insert the usb cable to connect to the pc
1.2.3 the phone starts at that point to recovery mode and after it reboot to bootloader (from recovery)
1.3 then use the basic fastboot program (command "fastboot devices" to see if the drivers are ok) and use the command "fastboot oem unlock" to unlock the bootloader
1.4 now the phone asks if you really want to unlock it so put in yes
1.5 The bootloader is unlocked (when starting, the phone shows that its been unlocked)
2. Download the TWRP from the link Alpha232 gave (it's for LG K10 but it works) in this diskussion https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/leagoo-t10-help-bootloader-unlock-t3629793
3 Root
3.1 boot to bootloader
3.2 run twrp: command "fastboot boot <image name>"
3.3 in TWRP install the SuperSU zip (I used 2.82)
4.4 reboot to system and enjoy...
I forgot to mention that to unlock the bootloader you have to activate developer options on your phone (push built number several times) and turn "OEM unlocking" on (in developer options)
Thanks a lot for all these information
You worked hard for that
I haven't received mine yet, I hope that it'll be a success for me too
Leagoo T10 can lock it back for bootloader ?
Hi All,
Check my simple unboxing here = https://youtu.be/nHHOJE8KU3M
Seem you guys have method can unlock bootloader & is it anyway can unroot & locked back bootloader to get New OTA if available ? May Be nougat...?
I heard some rumors that the T10 was badly selling and that there will be no OS updates because of that... I hope it's not true but there were some signs of that, for example the T10 was not mentioned on the official Leagoo website for a long time after it came out and was added only recently...
That was the reason I didn't bother trying to root through MAGISK which would allow updates...
As I said I hope it's not true because it's a really good phone for a great price... (And it's the only one in this price/performance category with SD card support)
Oh... Really ? Sorry & i did not notice... My SD card is class 10 card but failed format as internal so Is it Your phone SD card can format as internal ? What type of SD card is working ?
Be careful with the SD card... I had my 128 GB class 10 U1 formated as internal with my T10 (it was working fine), then I wanted to format it as regular SD and something went wrong by that process... The card is absolutely unusable now (I tried many solutions I found on the web but none worked...). Now I have an 64 class 10 inserted and using it without the internal format and the 32 GB internal storage is enough for me now...
can i know your128gb U1 sd card is it same as UHS card ?
Sent from my Lenovo S920 using xda premium
I tried almost everything possible with that SD card. Formating in other devices said that the card is write protected... I inserted it to my notebook and tried to remove the write protection by many means like through regedit, low level formating and so on but nothing helped... Finally I gave up... I don't know exactly how the issue happen but I remember that after formating the card, the phone was still listing the card as internal and I gave the command to forget it while it was inserted in my T10 and I believe that could be the reason that created that mess... (So don't do that, the forget function I mean)
Both cards I used were SDXC so maybe your 32 SDHC isn't compatible to be formated as internal memory but you should try to erase the card first if it gives you that error...
By the way... Have you used MAGISK yet? Did it work? As I said I used normal root (installed supurSu zip from booted recovery) so I won't try that now...
But it has always been like that or it is something that started being shown like this recently (Nougat and Oreo)?
Anyways, thank you for the answer!
It's always been like that because I have a Galaxy Tab 3 tablet with Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) and it shows the same thing.
8gb for system?
In a terminal emulator or adb do:
df > /sdcard/df.txt
