hello, just getting into android roms, i have a era g2, i managed to root it but when i try to press home+power it does not go into rom sellection screen? i have searched around for an answer and here is what i found, i cannot use this cmd (flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img) as the directory does not exist, from what i can tell i dont have a recovery image, my questions are is that why i cannot enter the rom sellection screen? and if so how do i create a recovery image and what dir do i put it in? (every time i press home+power i get a red triangle on a side of a phone with a ! in the triangle? plz help i am unable to find a sollution and i have searched for 6 hours, i just want to boot a new rom is all :*(
Download Rom manager from the play store. There should be an option to flash clockworkmod recovery. That's how I got it when I first rooted my hero

hi guys happy new year , I seem to have messed up my htc hero last night I went back to the official 1.5 rom by flashing a backup and it as fine but then I tried flashing the official 2.1 but it didnt go past the boot screen so I tried going back into clockworkmod but it just came up with a red triangle it goes into android system recovery 2e instead but wont let me flash anything keeps saying its siganture failed ,, please help me out guys asap as im now phone less , thanks

Try and recover your phone by downloading an official file from the htc website..
or there might be a similar thread here telling you what to do ..
this should reset your phone so that you can then start again ..
Edit ..: this is the guide you should be using.. the top couple of lines pretty much explains that you need to flash the official file ..

Have you tried booting without the sd card. Sometimes the SD card corrupts and that triangle shows
also try holding volume up + the power button at the triangle screen and select reboot now if that option comes..
the thing is it sticks at the 1st boot screen if i power it up holding home + power it goes to android recovery 2e not clockworkmod anymore , if I could get clockwork on there again i could flash the backup file

I am trying to unlock my boot loader and according to the video from qbking77 . I have been trying to press the volume button up and athe power button at the same time , but the phone boots as normal and does not go into the RSD Mode. My photon is rooted and running stock rom. Can anyone help me with this .

you can get to it holding volume down and power also just cycle through the options until you see rsd
Thanks I got it . I rooted , unlocked the bootloader and installed the clockwork recovery mod on my photon. Now when i try to install the CM9 , in the android recovery option of the fastboot screen, I get stuck in a white triangle and orange exclamation screen . I even deleted the install-recovery.sh file using root explorer. Dont know what to do .,

What stock software version do you have? 2.3.4 or 2.3.5?
2.3.4 ., i tried deleting that file through root explorer ., when i run the android recovery in the fastboot screen , it still shows that triangle android guy and when i boot it normal and go to root explorer ., the file is there again ., I tried renaming it ., nothing is working., I dont know how to do it through adb shell ., one guy had posted a zip file and i am figuring out how to extract it for like 3 hours now ., ., no hope .,

I Have Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus (GT-S7500)
A motnh ago Installed CWM Recovery v5.0.2.8 + Rooted my Phone.
After I installed ROM (Atom Blast very good ROM just a bug with video Recorder)
Today I Decided To Install different ROM (InspirationV7).
And what I did it was:
1. Pressed the Power button (menu pop-up)
2. I Recovery mode( So to not press the key)
3. Folloed the Instruction that InspirationV7 Gave.
4. After restarting I boot again to CWM Recovery
I cant get boot into ROM it is all the time in the CWM.
Before Posting this I am already 3 hours Googling and at Xda-developers but can't find anything.
So I decided to register and ask u guys.
I can't even go to Cold Boot it is continiue just vibrate and nothing else happens.
I can connect it to PC but dont have access to Internal SD card only to External SD card
If there is a way to Make my Phone work again please help.
Or can i connect to internal using Linux and delete the boot file or edit it. Or at list see WTF is going wrong there.

Solved. Just reinstalled the cwm recovery thru Odin.

I was testing out different roms to see if it will work with my phone. [My phone is an alcatel ONE TOUCH MAGIC 4033E (OT POP C3)] While I did that I flashed a rom called Yandex rom and it worked but I didn't like the interface and features of the rom so I wanted to flash another and when I tried to go to recovery mode using CWM or the normal way(power button + volume up button)it just reboots then shows the boot animation and when it was supposed to go to custom recovery mode it just went black and then it restarted my phone. My phone is working normally though that's a good thing. The only problem is that it won't let me access recovery mode to flash a new rom cause I really want to replace it. I've tried reinstalling CWM, tried using SPFT Flash tool, tried adb to boot into recovery and still can't access recovery mode. I dunno if any of you have experienced this problem before but can someone please help me! I really want to change my rom. :crying: :crying: :crying:

The thread you told me to go to didn't really give me the information I need and also my phone model isn't the same as the one that is being said. The phone model on the thread is One Touch 4030 S'Pop/Glory 2 mine is One Touch 4033E Pop C3/One Touch Magic but thanks anyway...
So, I'm fairly new to all this. I have a rooted S3 with CWM installed and had replaced the ROM with android revolution. I'm trying to reboot into recovery mode using ROM manager and my phone is now stuck in a boot loop trying to boot CWM recovery and failing. Help Please.
Flash stock rom to fix bootloop. Download stock rom form sammobile.com,flash it via odin.

I had done the exact same mistakes as you did. And also my home button is not working properly. Could you get your phone in to download mode? Is there a solution for this?

Activate usb debugging in developer settings and connect it to your pc (with android sdk installed) and type: adb reboot download

I think I wasn't clear enough There's no access in to the phone. When I switch it on I see Samsung logo then CWM logo then it fails to load CWM and reboots.I mean an infinite boot loop. Since my home button is not working properly, I am not sure if I can take it to the download mode.So what I'm asking is if I fix the button will I be able to get my phone in to download mode or are there other ways to fix this all from the pc? Thank you for your concern
You need download mode to do anything. No download mode = no flash.
You can try holding the volume button while pressing power but afaik you will need the home button.
