Tf101 Bad partition table after playing with configfile for tubuntu - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Could someone please help me!!!
I tried to make the Ubuntu Partition an 11GB partition and the original data partion only 512.
the problem is that both my partition tables died on me, i can only get APX mode for like 10 seconds and it turns off...
im not able to format the partitions with Easyflasher or Tubuntuv042 could someone please help me, i really need my Transformer tomorow since im going out of town, and i wont have a computer for awhile... please is there anyway i could fix this using NVFLASH?
Maybe make a new partition table somehow?
Ehh how can i say this, atleast its fixed. the error was that it had no battery.... i feel very silly yes!
Easyflasher fixed it

[Q] MBR Checksum?

Alright so here's the backstory. I bought a Vibrant off of ebay that was stuck in a bootloop. I thought to myself, hey I could just shove this thing into download mode and be on my merry way!
Well, I attempted to flash JFD with a jig that I had. Went fine, Odin gave it a PASS.
Still boot looped.
So I then try Eugene's no brick, and after finally getting the right version, it booted up. Then tried to flash to JFD again.
No dice.
Following the directions here I was able to finally get 2.1 to boot, now here is the problem that I'm currently stuck on.
I can't get the internal sd (onboard flash) to mount in the system. If I am at the shell I can browse to /mnt/sdcard and see everything on the phone and on the sd (external_sd).
But when I go into the settings, all I see is space unavailable and the format is grayed out.
The culprit I believe lies in the partition on the internal memory that creates this MBR checksum error every recovery.
Thoughts? Opinions? I know this can be fixed, I've come this far!
Below I've attached some of the voodoo logs, it seems that when trying to make the ext4 partitions, it can't find it. (I was trying this so I could in the end disable it)
Does anyone know what might be going on? Any tips at all?
The only thing that I can figure now is that there might be damage or the internal storage. When looking in /dev/block, there is no reference to mmc anything, like the internal storage isn't even there. Is the flash chip soldered on the motherboard? I'm guessif that it is, which means it would be a difficult fix.
Only other "solution" that I could thing of is if I mod the fstab to mount a microsd as the internal storage. Would this mod be affected by a flashing rom or odining back to stock?
Also is this the right board for this? If not can anyone direct me to the best spot to ask this question?
Thanks a bunch!
Please find my guide on the developers thread and follow it,
You will be bak at no sweat.
Any problems post there.

[Q] Why is it not mounted?

Just bought a new phone, from everbuying.com.
Type/model: Feiteng H9500+
Product website: Everbuying, sorry could not place a link duo the rules on the forum.!!
But you can find my phone typing the model in everbuying.com or google.com
Just rooted the phone yesterday. It is ok, i have the supersu app installed.
Wanted to do one more mod since internal storage was low ( 2GB.)
I wanted to mount my sd-card as an internal storage.
So i installed Mount2SD / Bussybox from Playstore.
On Windows i partitioned my 32 GB card as follow: (With partition home tool)
10 GB Fat32 - Logical
22 GB EXT4 - Primary.
When i restarted the phone, it only recognized the first fat32 partition.
The second EXT4 partition, was not mounted. also there was not any info or error.
Wich is verry weird, does any one knows what i did wrong? Did i forget a step? becouze i can't remeber one!
Seriously? Still not, at this hour , with so many peoples on the internet nowadays ??
Just a simple qeusten isn't it ?? ...
Lol
OR
Did i make a mistake, by putting this post in the wrong section?

I use link2sd on mydevice. So you can try by installing it.
Also keep both partition as primary.
I am not familiar with partition and such things but still you cn try.
Make sure the mount scripts are the latest version installed.
Press thanks if I have helped you.

Link2sd hmm, i agree that it is indeed a good aplication.
But there are better ones like mount2sd wich i have been also using on my previous old phones.
So just wanted and still want to figure out, why mount2sd isn't mounted.
..
have been looking the whole the day on google. but stil could not find it.
I am propably gonna install/flash cwm on the phone. and then try to flash mount2sd trough sd-card.
maybe it will work then, but for now i am still bussy finding a solution to get flash tools to work.
It stil does not download the custom recovery.img to phone, even after a correct scatterfile ..
pfff, so tired of being a geek.. i dont have any idea how this tech world just fits in my fuzzy litle head..
sometimes i wonder, how this tech world fits in my fuzzy litle head... it is difficult, but people do understand it without any introdoction.
Gonna get some sleep now, and contineu tommorow to find a solotion... :good:

usb partition problem

Hey everyone
I have recently bought an android tablet with KitKat and 16 GB internal storage.
But there were just 1gb available memory for installing apps and the remaining 11 GB were USB storage.
As I didn.t like this I tried to partition flash memory with mini partition tool wizard home(or sth like that I donno the name exactly).
I have partitioned the flash memory as following: 3gb for internal storage(fat32), remaining memory for USB storage and 8mb as ext2( I completed this after a tutorial).
Everything was done ,I applied and then I reboot my tablet. When I entered link2sd said that cannot detect my partition. When I get to storage information I realized that I still had 1gb internal memory, but 445mb USB storage. I was a bit panicked so I tried to wipe data, but didn't work. When I tried to repartition the flash memory with mini part tool , the computer couldn't connect to my tablet storage.
I have lost my internal memory(most of it) and now I want to recover it as it was stock.
Plsssss help me I have root access and I think there is a way to fix with root explorer but I don't no it so hopefully you guys understand my issue and help me.
Thanks

Are you rooted?
Edit: nvm you are I see.
You have to use an external SD card for link2sd, does not work with internal storage.

Why would you repartition your storage to a windows (fat32) partition? This is a Linux based system running on ext4. You may just have killed that partition without redoing your device from the boot loader up.

You will need some sort of default rim update with the correct partitions. It will wipe your device if you can find one. Which depends on the device. You. At have corrupted it beyond any repair you can do. Check the oem site as you. Ever stated what device it is.

OK don't take this the wrong way but you really seem to have no idea what your doing. No you can not fix a partition issue by replacing some system files. You messed the base system up. I would go to the oem site and forums and see if you can find something that will help you. Basically you will have to flash a rom from the boot loader. This should fix your issue. But with it being a minor brand device you may spend a long time finding it but I wish ukulele luck.

Oem stand for original equipment manufacturer. A google search may find it as I have never even heard let alone seen this device.
Now if/when you get it fixed I would advice you to do your proper research before doing something that could leave your device bricked and void your warranty. Age has nothing to do with it. My sons are the same age and know to spend a few hours or even days researching an issue before trying anything. Flashing your device is not an easy, no risk thing to do. It holds many risks as you have found out. I would read up on Linux a bit

I know age has nothing to do ,it was about I didn't no things like I need to reflash device to restore partition. I have great experience with android and flashing Roms as I have plenty of devices. I change Roms weekly tasting their features. Whatever my dad is working in it but he's on windows.
I have found a possible solution to my prblm after few hrs of googling== I found with disk info that I didn't make any partition, their just unmounted. Nows da big question: is it a way to mount them ( I found out that I could merge partition kernel source- or srh like that -)
My tablet is a copy rebranded after onda 711s==allwiner a31

Bricked ED88

Hi,
I have a MTK6575 tablet which is now bricked after trying to resize the data partition with Meos app. Its name is ED88 and it has 512mb ram and 4gb of internal storage.
Essentially I can enter in recovery console but there is not much I can really do there... I tried to restore the user data backup I took before resizing but it does not help, I guess that's not supposed to help with the partition problems. Just wondering is there some sort of tool that would help me to redo the partitioning... or any other way to fix that...
The USB connector is broken but I was able to solder the power pins, just good enough to charge the battery. So, I am looking for a solution based on microSD flashing.
Many thanks for any suggestion.
Sorry for the bump...
Anyone can tell what options I have to repair the data partition by injecting a ZIP'd script on microSD?
Thanks.
-vm
