MDJ Already done the job of creating a AOSP kernel (for the ICS) So i mod can close this thread
I have started working for some days now on the AOSP kernel.
I'm porting the changes from this kernel over to ours. So far it goes like planned only its a lot of work.
I think if i work hard it will be done tomorrow and we can go testing to get a MIUI or CM7 rom running on our beloved devices

CM7 and MIUI are Roms! Search After it in google! Im sure you get your answer!

En this means that the work on the CM an MIUI can be re-assumed.
Is MDJ willing to to help out with getting us aosp?

Hey guys.
Sorry to be a pain but recently i've been rather busy with work and have had trouble keeping up with ICS rom's and updates etc.
There seems to be more each day (not a problem, nice to see dev's doing their magic)
I recently saw coolexe has made a sense 3.6 rom (I used his rom's in my desire days. He is a very good dev)
Anyway. Getting to the point. I was basically wondering which ICS rom (preferably the new released base) was the best as a daily driver, i would like tweaks and beats on the new base but beggers can't be choosers. I'm not sure if it has already been done.
Anyway, thanks for reading. Just after a bit of advice and info as to what you all have exerienced rom wise, stability etc. I'm GSM by the way

I am currently on Virtuous shooter 3.0.4. It has no Beats, but to me seems the best from ROMs I tried. And I think I tried all ;-) Smooth, no bloatware and very good battery life.
Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead...

S4V WORKS WELL, but u will sacrifice, 3d games, camera video and player and usb mounting in doing so.............but we can oc to 1.51ghz
Meanrom v1.6 here with sense 3.6. It is a great ROM.
ICS NonSense 3.1 is a good one (I'm using that). Almost all ICS roms are buggyless and works for a daily usage.

Using mwakious's Rom for a while now and it is super fast
Yodas ics. Beats, tweaks, New base, everything working fab, agps update. All in one zip
every one vote please ... for the ROM that You think is the best ( in your opinion ) .. with our great respect for all the develpoers for their hard work
KingCobra in my opinion is the best and most stable.
I haven't had any major problems with it.
Cool first, and Anryl second
Mwakious was the first custom ROM I tried on my E3D, felt like not as good as the stock ROM (I tried about 1 week after the official update to ICS from HTC). "good" in term of stable, battery,... I also don't like the customized boot screen
Then I tried Anryl, used it for up to a month. Felt like stable as stock ROM, but with more tweaks (of course ), but still not happy with the battery life.
Then I tried Yoda's. It doesn't work on my phone (always got "Problem with UI", even I tried to clean everything before installation). Then, bye-bye it, to go to Cool's.
Cool's battery consumption is good, and less bug. So now I'm using it, happily waiting for Coolexe's every kernel update.
maybe you are right ,,, I just tried Mwakious .. I feel it has some LAG ..
I prefer Predator

I agree, turge unlike the other developers he hasn't changed alot and he hasn't gone kernel crazy, but I vote for sense 4 venom rom

No 3d but high speed mobile works as far as I can tell, 3d won't happen, I understand it's a java issue and kernel issue, all you have to do is go to infectedrom.com go to evo cdma development find vioer venom rom click download and download the multi version, for both cdma and gsm, it's nice

mwakious rom any day.......stable and fast

I'll try it out, but, I'd rather keep the 3D considering it's in the phone's name.
Otherwise, I'd go around calling it the Shooter U.

Yes, I know what you mean but I bought the phone for it's awesome dual core cpu, ram 3d was not the selling feature for me.
Vitrouos rom is not the best, there's been many overall improvements, sound, tweaks, preformance.

ok ... I flashed it ... and it didnt work .. after flashing ... the phone keep rebooting .. i waited for 4 reboots but nothing changed

In aroma it ask's if you would like to do a full wipe, yes, full wipe is required.

Questions like these are not allowed In The evo 3d thread. I recommend you try out ROMs for yourself that's the only way you will know which is the best & most soothing for you.

Use Mwakious3Drom. Its best rom for evo 3d so far. Updates regularly. Very smooth and Zero bug.

We have 85 roms listed on GSM. Are you suggesting him to try them all for 2-3 days to see what "is the best & most soothing for him"?
I vote for cool ics v15.
I am trying now MIUI 3.2.22. Looks pretty stable too.
I dont like Mwakious3Drom because of Mwakious attitude mostlty. He thinks too high of himshelf and acts like he coded the rom from 0 but that my opinion and you know what they say about opinions.
Yodas(ryrzy) Sensless is stable too but I found the phone.apk (or contact.apk) shut down every 30 minutes too much disturbing
It doesn't matter what you think about the developer because all ROMs are free and you use ROMs not developers. He can flash ROMs by recomendation but everyone has different opinions (as you stated) and the best thing is for him to try as many of ROMs as possible to find that one that suits him the best

It would be best if he tries it himself, just because you can't go on peoples word alone. I take comments into account when downloading ROMs, what have people said about this ROM . you kind of have to to cope with being a flash o holic.
Check ROMs that are recently updated , ones that have a high comment count and recognition if you're pressed for time . these are ROMs that have been updated and worked on a lot vs getting a base and adding mods.

I recommend negalite blurom for virgin mobile/sprint cdma..... Dev works very hard on the Rom... It's 3.6 based so everything works... He updates very often adding new features and fixing small bugs, If u have requests for new features he has his own forum for request and much more.... All on all a very good Rom.... Recommend checking out... It's my permarom

after one week with miui 3.2.22 ice built I am pretty sure it's the best Rom. everything works and its miui. battery is the best I tried so far at any room. theming capabilities, very fast.
if you try I recommend Swype keyboard, performance governor and 384 minimum core speed linked.

I have not flashed a Rom in quite a long time but stuck with this as it was fully functional.
Anyone got any ideas on what Rom to move to. I know there won't be a great deal out there but I want full functionality especially the 3d.

CoolICS if you stick with sense 3.6
YAS4 v11 if you want sense 4.1
I tested both for quite a long time.
