[Q] Battery Flat but Graph Say Different - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all
Normally my phone lasts half a week at least because I don't use it much at all
Anyway I took my phone off charge at 100% yesterday at 3:30pm and it looks like sometime around midnight it switched off if the battery graph is anything to go by because it says been on battery for 10 hours.
But my phone was dead and wouldn't turn on so I had to plug a charger in and it says 0% but the graph says different :S
I've uploaded a photo for you guys to examine and see what you think
Any idea what's going on?
If it means anything I'm running the following and I just installed it a bit over a week ago.
Base Firmware: I9300XXEMC2 (4.1.2)
Region: Europe
Country: United Kingdom
Carrier: Unbranded
Build Date: 11 March 2013
Modem: XXEMC2
CSC: OXAEMC2
Change List: 1042335

The graph will reset when you get close to 100% charge so lets see what happens then. As to why this happened in the first place, I cannot say

Yeah it's weird
The only thing I did between 3:30pm and 11 hours later was answer a 3 min phone call and made a 1 min phone call
The time it took to charge the phone I would say it was a full charge
It was flat so I put it on charge at 12:30pm and it was full between 3pm and 3:30pm and that is normally how long it takes to charge up.

[Q] About battery life and charging

So I had my GS2 fully charged last night. At about 415am I played Game Dev Story for about 30mins and went to bed. I wake up this morning at around 1030 and find my phone completely dead. Obviously this freaks me out since I just got my phone and it should not be going from 100% -> 0% in 5 hours of being idle. Now maybe I didn't turn Game Dev off properly and it was running in the background? I don't know. I got this phone last Monday and this is the fastest it has died. (Even setting this one aside, I'm extremely disappointed in the battery life). Also, I plug it in to charge after I found it dead this morning and went back to sleep. Wake up 2 hours later at 12pm and see its only charged to about 40% and the phone is really hot.
Are these normal for the GS2? It didnt get hot during previous charges (atleast I didn't notice it getting hot). Also what is the average battery life for the S2 and how long does it usually take to charge from 0-100? For some reason I feel like there is something wrong with mine and I should be exchanging it but unfortunately I did root it so undoing the whole process will take some time since I'm still waiting for the jigg.
Normal charge time from zero to full 3-4 Hours via stock charger .
Excessive battery drain multiple posts on the problem .

I don't think anything is wrong with the battery. You can see the battery usage graph, and post if needed. And the device takes around 3 hrs 15 mins from 0 to 100% charge with AC charger.
Regards.

[Q] New S2 Drained Battery

I just got my SGS2 replaced (RMA) and the brand new piece arrive with a completely dead battery. I had to charge to for like 15 mins before I could turn the phone on. I am concerned as my first S2 arrived with a semi charged battery which is usually how L-ion batteries are usually shipped with most electronic devices. Is there a way to check if the battery has been used previously? Any app that will help check the cycles to determine if it is a new piece?
UPDATE: I have plugging in the AC Charger and I see a large battery icon with a circle in the middle that blinks every few seconds. This has been happening for the last 15 mins. Any help would be much appreciated.
Follow the instructions charge battery for usually four hours .
If something is then wrong return the phone .

[Q] Battery overheated

At first, I know there are a lot of topics about overheated batteries but I still need your help.
I always recharge my phone when i'm asleep, near my head. A couple of days ago I woke up lying with my shoulder on my phone. Where I completely covered my phone with body. The phone was verry hot and Android gave me a warning sign (redthingy) , that the battery temperature was way too high.
I shut down the phone, and got the battery out - just too cool it down.
And now my phone wont recharge as it should be.
While my phone is turned off , it recharges just fine. (Temperature stays normal)
While my phone is turned on , it won't recharge - or really slow.
When my battery is at low % and I try too recharge it's just getting hotter - but it stays at the same percentage.
So while my phone and battery both survived the cuddle, they're working not as the should.
Hopefully you guys can help me !

S2 - Charging problem (Can't get to 100%)

Hi guys,
My mom's device (S2 I9100) has this problem, it won't charge to 100%....
So I ordered new Original battery + New charger from Samsung store in my country.
It was fine for a few days and then it started again, today the device reached 63% and won't charge anymore...
I opened it up, removed the battery for 5 minutes, and then turned on the device and it was on 51% ([email protected][email protected]#)
It's drives me crazy, I can't figure out what's wrong with it, I did tried battery calibration when it reached 100% last week,
but here we are and the problem returned...
Some info: I'm running stable version of official CM11-M11, everything else is perfect in this rom!
And before CM11, I was on some Samsung based custom rom and the problem existed even then...
What do I do?
Thanks!
Hmm... Am I the only one?

Phone turn off with any battery charge

A few weeks ago, my phone started to shutdown by itself while my battery charge would show from 30 to 70 %.
So i ended up recently by ordering a new battery.
I did the replacement and now the problem remains with the new one.
Before starting using it i pluged the tel for charging and it got 30% in 1 or 2 hours and then got suddenly full charge.
This is the very first time i experience this strange behaviour.
My phone has the B396 build and is rooted.
Is there anything i can do to make the OS see the real battery charge ?
