There are many stable custom ROMS. Pretty much all custom ROMS except CyanogenMod are stable here. Head over to development section to find them

SGS3 awesome rom
Seems like a sneaky way to create a "best ROM thread", which aren't really liked here on XDA.
Search is your friend, just take a look in the android development sections of your device forum, (don't post this there...) and find a ROM which has your desired features, read a few recent posts and make your decision then.

Hey all, just got myself a Galaxy Tab 10.1, i came on here to scope out some themes and discovered there are a whole lot more than that here. I see alot of custom ROMS on here, can someone please recommend me.. are there any noticeable performance gains from it? thanks!

This ROM was released just a few days ago by 2 of our finest developers.

i personally love the **** out of Bindroid.. It's smooth and fast.. I have tried Paris and you can't go wrong with that rom either.. Try them all.. They will all be an improvement to the stock rom..
Personally, I'd say go with In Paris by Phantom_Hacker and task650. Version 4 is due out fairly shortly, but I don't think you can go wrong with V2 for now.
Just make sure you do a full wipe and clear the caches in CWM Recovery before flashing it

Alright this is a best rom thread but please read why i created this topic.
Most of the GB rom topics are closed and i am not abel to find any info. The thing is that i bought my s2 preloaded with ICS and no idea whatsoever about gingerbread roms. I just wanted to install GB rom so i could play some old gameloft games that dont work on ICS and above OS.
So could any old user please recommend a nice , fast and stable (mainly for gaming) GB rom that i could use on my phone for sometime and play those games lol(im really bored)

There is no "buts" about it and your reason for creating topic is irrelevant and you obviously haven't even bothered to read the sticky topic about WHY these topics are not allowed.
We're not here to spoon feed you and "best" is 100% subjective and these topics just lead to opinions which you can make yourself BY INSTALLING AND TRYING THEM YOURSELF!!!

No such thing as best anything, look through them, read the OPs and last 10 posts in the threads, see which sounds good and try them your self.

Check out the development forum and have a read through all the 4.2.2 roms that are available or even the 4.3 roms. Have a read of each thread and you'll get an idea of what the users of that particular rom think about it.
Trial and error is the best way until you find the one that suits you.

Got the Samsung galaxy Ace s5830i, just come outta the box, and discovered its got some old 2.x version of gingerbread
Time to Flash a new rom i think!
Just quickly looked through the ROM's but there are loads of them.... so heres a question:
What rom is most like 4.2 Andriod Jelly Bean? I'm looking to make my phone as much like the ROM on the samsung galaxy sIII.
il be happy to hear any opinions on whats the best ROM, which looks and feels like the jelly bean 4.2 rom on the s3? (can you post links if u mention a rom please, so i can decide what to flash !)

Yeah, there is no such thing as a best rom, but im asking what people's preference is, as long as their rom looks like andriod 4.2

Don't be lazy and test roms by yourself, like everyone else. No one knows you and what you needs, so it might be hard for us to guess what is the best rom for you. So, please do not create threads like this and do this type of question further. There are plenty of roms in the style you said.
