I want to know how to make the notification pull menu semi-transparent on a custom ROM.
I am no developer...I am using ARHD Rom and want to make the notification pull down menu semi-transparent like in ViperX ROM.

Go to the UOT ( Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen ) . You should be able to accomplish what you want there.

i tried ICS on my phone. everything goes good but my battery getting so hot when i using it so i back to official 2.3.6
i like the status bar of ICS because it don't have Carrier name on it.
now i want to have only the ICS status bar on my official att 2.3.6
i tried supper status bar / omega status bar. but i don't want to use those .i want to change it from rom
i also tried to edit & replace systemUI , then my status bar got disappear . maybe i didn't do right edit or something
is it possible to have only the ICS status bar on my official att 2.3.6 ? if it , how can i do that ? please any expert reply me.....

Use a CM7 Rom.
No bugs like CM10 and you get all sorts of status bars =D

I am wanting a stock status bar but blue icons.. I have been looking for stock status bar in blue for i9100xwlss.. I do not want anything moded just blue signal bar blue wifi blue battery from stock 4.1.2.. is there any mods here that will only do just that?

many thanks but I have system ui has stopped working error and no status bar..
send me the ROM or the SystemUI from the ROM that you use and I will make a CWM file.
Just wanna share my mod here guys. Ive ported the xt 912 dropdown toggles to our beloved xt 910 gsm razr running stock deodexed 4.1.2 jb (I only tested it on stock deodexed eu jb). Here you go guys:
Include in this systemui mod:
-Two layout toggles (usual toggles and volume sliders)
-White ics signal bar
-Screenlock on notification header
-Internet meter with data usage on bottom of notification panel
-1% battery (replacing the battery icons)
-Some other small mod
Bugs:
-Battery jump (any ideas?)
-I dont edit the systemui for 1% battery, so no charging icon or indicator yet except on lockscreen
-Needs to press toggle (right top toggle) for about 3 times after each boot, unless the clear all button wont work.

hi am on stock jb eu..can I flash this zip using safe strap....how can reverse back??
Yes you can if you have a deodexed system, Im running it on stock eu jb. You have to make backup with safestrap before flashing so you can restore your backup anytime you want. Or if you have the original systemui.apk and services.jar please upload them, I can make a restore zip. I dont have it right now.

If you have your device rooted and install safestrap, boot your device and enter safestrap recovery, choose backup. Safestrap will make a backup of your whole system. If you want to restore just choose restore. For deodex, with root explorer go to root/system/app, if you find any files with .odex extension the your system is odexed which means you have to deodex it first to be able to install this. You should read mor at the dev section. There is a good explanation there...

You mean for android 4.2.2? I think 4.2.2 already has better toggles than this, and I dont have the apk..

With root explorere go to system/app and delete systemui.odex and reboot
Is there anyway to change the status bar style on rooted stock rom? I have been looking everything but never found it.
(I know I can use custom rom, but maybe there is a way I dont know!)
