Images in gallery from Google + turning automatically - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

When I'm viewing pictures in my gallery that are in Google +, I click on any image to view it and within 2-3 seconds of looking at it, it has an animation and changes orientation on its own. Anyone else seen this happen?

[Q] Camera Review Duration?

After snapping a photo, it very quickly returns to the camera view instead of allowing me to view the picture that I just took. It doesn't matter what setting I use on the review duration option. I tried clearing the data in the camera, but still no change.
Is this a known issue?
I tried to read every camera related post in the bugs sticky, but I didn't find anything.
Hit menu while cameras is open, there is an option to change time or disable it completely
Review duration, under resolution

Stock Picture widget

Is there any way to increase time between pictures slides in stock picture widget? Right now it is like 3 sec between pictures and I want at least 15 sec or 5 min. I looked at build.prop and didn't find anything. Tried other aps like Photo Gallery widget or Multipic Slideshow, but all of them display low resolution pictures even with build.prop tweak to display jpegs at 100. Tried search entire forum to no avail.
Thanks.

[Q] Picture/Video Orientation

Hi all,
Having some issues with pictures being sideways in my camera album and with videos being turned sideways when trying to compress them to send by email. In the case of the pictures they will show sideways in the gallery thumbnails but will open right side up. I can't rotate them by hooking the phone up to my PC and accessing the SD Card through Windows (looks like I should have permission to modify but rotate is greyed out). Any of the photo editing apps I try on the phone itself show the pictures the right way up when I open them and even if I rotate it and try to save, they still stay the same way. I use the Ultimate Photo Widget and it always shows the pictures sideways and I would really like to fix them.
In regards to videos I am trying to get the same functionality as an iPhone where you can adjust the size before emailing. I have tried Video Compress, Video Shrink, Vidtrim and VidCon but they all seem to compress with varying degrees of success but it seems like no matter what I do the resulting videos have been turned sideways.
I am running Resurrection Remix JB 3.1.2 if that is helpful and greatly appreciate any insight you may be able to provide.
Thanks!

Portrait pictures rotates to landscape

My z5 compact rotates portrait pictures to landscape mode when posting then to Facebook, Instagram or Layout. Sharing them from Galleri or directly in the app makes no difference. Rotating a picture in Facebook, and when saved or/and accepted change it reverts back to landscape mode again. Shooting 20 mpx 16.9 in Auto. Tried turning Auto rotate on and off in settings, no change. Running stock. 152. Anyone else with this issue? Feels like a Sony bug as it happens in different apps...
Edit. With Gallery I meant Album app. Have Google Photo syncing my pics and the wrong rotation appears there to, but if I share pictures from Google Photo to Facebook corrections there works. Turning off the sync in Google Photo has no impact on the problem sharing from Album or directly in Facebook....
I have this problem too
Anybody else having that problem?
Yeah, having the same issue, but not every single picture taken exhibits the wrong orientation.
I did notice though that even though the UI elements in the camera rotate properly to portrait, the APP itself is in landscape. You can tell from the way the nav buttons are turned sideways when you swipe up from the bottom.
I've cleared the cache but it hasn't fixed it.
Turning on Auto-Rotate doesn't change anything either.
If any of you have a Sony Forum account, it's probably worth reporting.

Same issue here. Another not so wonderful thing about this camera.

Android camera frame "refresh"

Hi,
I have a Samsung S10 lite with android 11.
When I take steady pictures all is fine. The problem is when I take pictures that the object is in motion.
After the picture is taken and I want to see how it turned out I see one picture for a glimpse of an eye and then it "refreshes" to another frame and this is the final picture for now on. Sometimes it is better and sometimes it is worse.
Is that a known issue? Are these "frames" exist on the phone, can I choose between them?
Thanks!
If you have an HDR setting on your camera then turn it off. Each photo will have only one frame of the image.

And the image that I saw for a moment is deleted?
Disabling HDR means taking one frame of the image. Turning on HDR takes several frames of the image, but in the end .JPG contains one image frame composed of several.
Taking a photo in motion creates one .JPG file containing several image frames.
Therefore, such a file is many times larger than .JPG made without the photo in motion function turned on.
In the gallery, you can turn off the automatic playback of moving photos.

Thanks for the detailed answer.
Just to be sure - is it not possible to extract one frame from the finished HDR?
The raw data is not accessible?

As I mentioned, the resulting .JPG taken with the Samsung camera contains only one image frame.
RAW recording mode is available in PRO mode.
You can use Open Camera, for example, which allows you to leave saved frames of images taken in HDR mode.
