Looking to root my Telstra 4G Tablet which is a rebranded ZTE v96a, I've looked and tried a couple of general apps but to no avail.
I've rooted my Xperia Z and have cleaned that heaps and now it runs well and holds battery well which is why I want to root my ablet.
Its running 4.0.4
Hope someone can help

I bought Maxsun M81 Tablet Pc from ownta.com in 2012. Sweet device but no google market and awful, slow performance.
I have been searching for 2-3 months but no custom or new official rom. Finally I found that Maxsun M81 and Teclast P85a is absolutely same device like a twins.
And I tried Oma's "RK2918 Tab Odys-Loox rocks with ICS". Wovvvvv my tablet shines. Now I have only some screen rotation problem. The other all things including wi-fi, camera, etc are working well without problems. Finally I have google market. I dont know why but now screen contrast and color depth are better. BTW tablet performance is considerable increased. I will try other Teclast P85a compitable roms. And I will write results here. Maybe it may be help other Maxsun M81 owners.

I am an owner of a maxsun m81 tablet. First of all, thank you for your info... it will be really helpfull. But there are some things i would like to ask you. Have you triyed any rom over 4.0.4? Have you found any site/link of the manufactor? I m triying to find anything "official" but there is no such thing... something else, did you have problems with your wifi connection? Mine is falling all the time. Something else i would like to tell you is that here in greece this model is under brand name (turbo x spice iii) and there is no way to get any update/upgrate from the company that sells it as that....... i would like to have an official update from maxsun but i am afraid thats a dream....
I have recently purchased the Pipo T1 6.8" tablet and I'm pretty pleased with how it performs so far.
My only concern now is being able to root the device due to a few restrictions I've encountered with a couple of tasker functions I wish to run.
Has anyone got any information on how to root this device?

So recently I bought Sony xperia Z smart phone, and I rooted it.Now I'm kinda wondering about tools that improve game performance (like boosters,optimizers...),I'm currently a beginer in here so I have no idea which software is good so I hoped you could fill me up with some informations like links etc...

Could someone please help with the following?
I have the tablet in the subject. Haven't used it in ages, as I have an iPad Air 2 from work which I prefer.
My daughter is now a teen and keeps pinching my tablet to view all her shows on my tables, although she has a rooted Nexus 7 I gave her with CyanogenMod installed.
This is driving me up the wall. Can't afford to get a new tablet at the moment so I dug up my old Sony Tablet.
My Xperia Z tablet is stock with the latest update Sony pushed out - I think it's version 5.1.1 or something.
I see a lot of roms available for this device on xda.
Is there any benefit to root the device and install one of those or is the device outdated? Will it stream Netflix, etc in HD?
