[Q] Weird video recording on 720p and 1080p (sammy based)

Hi all.
I've been using WanamLite Rom 12.5 (LPX) and the video camera is weird. When i'm recording a video with 720p or 1080p resolution, the screen kind of flashes every just few seconds ( the brightness is going up and going down in a second) as you can see in the youtube video link below.
These are what I've tried and the problem still haven't been solved yet:
- Use Camera.apk from WanamLite 12.6 (LPY) rom
- Use Camera.apk from this MOD http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1841988
- Use Camera.apk from NeatROM Lite 3.3 (LPX)
This is a sample video of 720p

any idea?
Try with lgCamera and Camera ICS+.

It's a known issue with stock Samsung ROM's, I have it too with Wanam and with my old stock 2.3.3/5.
The issues disappear with non stock ROM's such as RR.
You may try AOSP based roms

720P Recording in FXP CM10 210

I recently moved from Stock ICS to FXP CM10 210 on Live with Walkman & missing 720P Recording of Stock ICS.
Please avice how to fix this
theres nothing to fix. fxp cm10 disabled 720p recording. solution is to use other rom which enabled 720p recording combined with kernel that enabled it too.

[Q] No 720p option available in CM10.

I just installed cm10 on my Xperia Neo V. But there's no option to change the video quality while recording. Th video is recorded in low resolution. What's wrong with it?
nothing wrong with the installation, just cm 10 does not support 720 recording.only 480 recording works
you can use 720p patch using lupus 720p kernel .... but recording limited to 16fps

Yes that is quite disappointing,I really hope in the end we will have 720p recording at 30fps with some kernel and ROM combination,it is frustrating not to have full functionality on Jelly Bean ROMs,everything else works but not this.

[Q] S3 front camera not recording 720p with custom ROMs

Just out of curiosity, is it just me or is it a general problem, that the front facing camera is not recording at 720p (shows 480p max), when using Non-Samsung based ROMs?
Any ideas?

[mod] force hdr10 recording

Mod Force Camera To record in HDR10
Works for both main and uwa lens
Must set HEVC codec
Note-------------------
It Breaks H264 Recording
Made using .189 Libs be cautious when using it on other rom revisions
causes camera preview to be in HDR so if you use stock cam what you see in preview may not be what get in the final image

In normal times Z6 doesn't use hdr10 AT ALL ?
