I am trying to root my htc desire c and i have gotten through all of the steps but after i try to use the recovery option, it just loads a screen an HTC screen that has some words in red ( can't remember what it says exactly) and then it wont leave that screen. I have tried using hasoon2000's all in one toolkit and i have also tried to use the superboot option and they have both given me the same results.... Can anyone help me solve this problem? i really want my phone rooted...

Hello, I have an HTC HERO I got from a client to repair. The phone only vibrates and stays stuck in the image HERO. I can get into HBOOT and Fastmode manually. I tried using adb shell but the phone was not detected. I don't know if the client had it in usb debugging mode or not or even if it is rooted. So I tried flashing it with the rom in the micro Sd card. In HBoot the phone detects the image but does not flash it. Also the phone has no backup.
This is the image I am using HEROIMG_Hero_HTC_WWE_1.76.405.1_R3_WWE_release_signed.
The phone shows
HERO CVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-1.76.0007 (HERO 10000)
RADIO-6.35.15.14
and some other little details. Am I doing this right? Is this the correct image? I have read a bit but nothing seems to work. I truly appreciate your help. Tnx.
Did the client install an update? (Peep update)
I installed it on my phone and got the same issues
with the standard firmware.
It hangs on the green HTC logo with white background.

I don't know how to fix it so i finally called HTC.
Hopefully they are willing to fix it.
I got it rooted, so i hope they don't see that.
The RUU update from the HTC site doensn't work because the software
of my phone is newer.

Hi, today I tried to update my HTC Sensation to Jelly Beam 4.1.0 and it didn't worked, I mean now when I want to turn ON my phone he's showing only white screen HTC and then the phone stops at the MIUI boot screen.
I did the unlock from HTC Dev, then I copied CWM-SuperSU-v0.99, ClockworkMod Recovery and miui_pyramid_2.11.23_b6afd13acc_4.1 to SD card and I did everything step by step like it was in the guide. What I should do now, i really need my phone to work. It was stupid idea to upgrade it.

I was trying to convert my ATT HTC One (Android 4.3; Hboot 1.55) to International version using the thread: [HOW TO] Convert AT&T/Rogers/T-Mobile HTC One to EU International One. (I had converted my old HTC One which I lost successfully using this thread in past.)
But when I got my new HTC One, I immediately OTA updated it to 4.3 and thus my HBoot also updated to 1.55. (I am a noob and didnt know it updated OTA will update to Hboot to 1.55 which is not compatible with revone to gain S-off. But anyways...)
So yesterday, I gained S-off using rumrunner. Had to root and install custom recovery to do that. Everything was fine until I gained S-off.
As I was S-off now, I decided to go ahead and start converting my Att HTC One to international version. So I started at Step # 4a of above mentioned thread.(I started at 4a bz steps before that are used to gain s-off using revone).
After I completed step 4a, and as menrioned in the thread, HTC One got stuck at 3/4 completed green status bar. And after that when I restarted my phone nothing is showing up. Screen is black and my computer gives me message that device connected could not be recognized. I never got the grey htc screen.
I cannot reboot into adb or recovery. if i hold the power button(10+ secs) phone vibrates. If I turn press the power button again the red led will turn on but screen is still black.
Please tell me i am not screwed and there is a way to fix this.
I really appreciate any kind of help.

Im having the same issue right not so far couldn't find a fix yet first time doing this and blamm black screen of death

If your on a windows 8.1 PC what happen is the RUU downgraded your hboot and windows no longer can see the phone. Most likely your phone is not dead you just need a windows 7 PC to redo all the steps of running the RUU
Hi, I'm still rather new to this and I was trying to root my HTC desire 600c . When I went to start up my phone is gets stuck on the screen with htc's brand name and below it in red text it says "this build is for development purposes only do not distridute outside of htc without htc's written permission. failure to comply may lead to legal action".
when it first did this i thought it would just take awhile to load, i waited for 30 minutes.
I've tried many things:
clearing all caches
redoing the rooting process in the above url
redownloading the files, double checking everything
factory reset. Please help me guys.

I need some help here guys plz, im no pro just a noob,
i know that the device is pretty old but i just bought it as a backup phone, tried to root,all went well,got supercid,installed twrp
that is when all hell broke loose, i tried to install custom roms but no custom rom was able to install (different errors,boot loops,cant mount etc etc) only cm10 was running, i wasnt able to open camera as cm10 wasnt reading sd(not even internal sd) so i planned to go stock again, used the all in one toolkit to relock the bootloader
then tried to flash stock RUU but it said failed and since then it is not going to fastboot nor recovery, just stuck at htc logo with four exclaimation marks at corners, whn i unplug the cable from computer it shows white screen with highlighted ruu
tried fastboot comand "boot oem" but it was bootlooping cm10
cant get to recovery as well to clean flash cm10
any help would be appreciated plz,
