Dear lord!
There is a Q&A section if you'd bothered to actually look. Not hard to find.
I reckon mods will close this thread soon enough, so i recommend making a new thread but in the Q&A section.

[Q] Phone stuck at opening screen with warning sign

i tried rooting my samsung galaxy s 2 gt i9100G, i flashed the CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KG6-v4.1-CWM4 kernel using odin and everything was fine, when my phone restarted it was on the start screen with the yellow triangle at the bottom, i have rooted other samsung galaxy s2 GT-I9100, but not the one with GT-I9100G, any idea what i should do now? i can go into download mode, but just cant start up
its a 1900 G model you need to check that the kernel you installed is compatible with the model G first .

Check this thread out for links to flash back the stock firmware with Odin. I did see a link posted for a chinese rooted kernel there as well, but be wary. You don't want a brick. Just concentrate on getting back stock working first, then go from there.

[Q] Stuck at Boot - Samsung I9100G

Hello gurus,
I got a SGS2 I9100G. I tried to flash the CF-Root kernel in order to root but it failed.
I then went to download mode and tried to install Litening rom.
it always fail at the modem part.
I am so stupid that I did not first check the firmware version already installed !
I am now trying to re-install a stock version and none is working.
I tried vilain rom 1 (supposed to wipe everything) it completes with no error , but it stays stuck at the writing Samsung I9100G . (not the Samsung logo).
I can not go into the recovery mode.
I tried to flash a kernel and things got worse... now I have the 2 computers screen.... Please helppppppppppppppp
Thanks
Ok looks like what you've done is flash software meant for the I9100 model and not the I9100G.
Search through the threads till you find threads specifically about the G model. Read and read a lot. Not joking...read a lot.
Your gonna need Odin, gonna need to boot into download mode and gonna need to flash firmware for the I9100G model.
Hope this points you in the right direction.

Yes. The I9100 and the I9100G are two different devices.

[Help] Galaxy s2 GT-I9100P Soft Brick?

Heya guys!
I am a complete noob, and obv didn't spent enough time understanding the process, but please help and I promise I won;t be that stupid ;p
What I did :
Install Drivers,Odin, download CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_LPH-v5.2-CWM5 kernel which seemed like the one for my phone.
Flashed it and it looked like there was no error, but the phone didn't restart automatically. It can go into download mode, but I am not sure what to do from there, completely lost and panicking. And the worst thing I forgot to do a backup.
Unleash the flame but please help. :fingers-crossed:
What you installed was probably not for your device and hence the bootloop.
Download a stock firmware for the i9100P model from sammobile.com (4.0.3 to avoid the emmc bug) and flash via Odin. That should get your device back to life to start with.
Once you've done so follow the procedure in this link to get rooted

Good luck

So you obviously missed the thread stickied near the top of Q&A titled 'Flash stock firmware' then ?
The only difference is you obviously need to get I9100G firmware from Samfirmware, not I9100.
This is basics, you should already know this stuff before you start flashing custom roms, and you're certainly not going to be spoonfed it.

You REALLY should know this....
1) no need to flash a separate kernel.
2) no need to unroot.
Flash the correct firmware via Odin and your phone will be in an "as new, out of the box" condition.....
That's ALL you need to do.
