Hello..
I want to make a Custom ROM for Xperia sola.
Do you guys want me to wait for ICS or do a GB one?
It will have:
*AOSP look,not too much.
*Some of my mods.
*Statusbar bar toggles.
*build.prop tweaks.
*Removed bloatware.
Please any more suggestions...

I am ok with AOSP, everyone can customize it after that.
I will be very happy if you do ICS one, without all the google stuff (bloatware) so the ROM is clean, RAM and battery efficient.
If you wait for ICS (which is may be around the corner) it will be better imo.

Don include floating touch app. I think u can wait for ics as I heard that xperia u wil be getting ics for sure before October or max first week of October. In that case sola wil get as well

First of all thank you for taking an interest in the Sola, I think it needs more attention and it's just so unfortunate that it's not as actively being developed as other Sony handsets. I for one think that a stable GB AOSP rom is a great idea. ICS could have bugs when it gets released and people will want to go back to GB if that happens. I don't think the first ICS release is going to be perfect, so you can worry about fixing it and making it better when it gets here. For now, I vote for a GB rom, and maybe just for the heck it?

+1 to a GB rom for now. The two out there are alright, but always missing something (Latest update/status bar tweak/notification bars etc)
Wait for ICS
There're so many GB ROM
GB, there are fxp team working on ics. And from my past experience, we will always need a good old rom. And please use the latest GB rom release.
The other dev working on sola custom rom had suspend their development and waiting the ICS, so please make us a great GB rom as for now.

Almost ready(haven't done much tweaking:angel,testing phase.Maybe I'll upload tomorrrow.
Still looking for more suggestions..

thank you, if i might to give a suggestions, i'll suggest you to improve audio quality and camera result as good as you can do, cause ,my brothers gio could give a better camera result than sola (thats phatetic)

Uploaded the ROM.
If anyone with experience in modding/themeing is interested to team up with me to develop ROMs,please PM.

Which all jb roms will my SK17i support?
Did a try (with stock I think) and it was so slow that it was impossible to do anything.
I would make a call and could come back after coffee, then only would the call screen come.
It took forever to open apps.
So I discarded it and went back to cm9.
Wanna give it a try again

Just go to dev section and see all the jb roms....they mention in either title or description for which deevice it is compatible...test all of them and be happy

I know that there are some roms that support it... Someone did it for scritchs cm9 or feras and one gingerbread rom had it i will look it up... are you able to flash? i mean did you already seperate sour ohones into parts? the buttons are an own little piece and i could imagine that you add some buttons from a broken x10 that you can get from ebay...

so here the v3.0 supports it i tested it its pretty cool *maybe* the performance wont be as good as feralabs v20. if you want to use feras v20 you could aks in the thread, fera could surely make it, but you must promote it a bit ;D.

Clean stock GB rom
Rooted
Bootloader unlocked
Cwm installed
On Lupus for GB kernel.
Ok what i want now is some script and build.prop that suites GAMING.
Theres ALOT of choices, and i dont know which one is the best for gaming. So feel free to post some links and suggest some scripts and build.prop.

When u can use chainfire-3d from playstore, but make backup before it may causing problems/bootloops
