[Q] p769-20d - Remove Qslide - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Hello Everyone,
I would like to remove the stupid QSlide area from the drop-down menu by using the script posted in this thread

I have successfully rooted my phone, but I am having trouble figuring out how to run scripts and boot into recovery. Whenever I try to boot into recovery, I get a picture of a dead android with his stomach plate opened up and a warning label over it and I can only restart by taking out the battery. Thus, I cannot run the script from recovery.
I am currently trying to use SManager to run the script from my external SD card with root permission, and this happens:
Nobody else in that thread seemed to have that same error. What am I doing wrong?
Can anyone either tell me how to properly run this script or how to successfully run a recovery installation?
The script is attached also, for your reference
Thanks

The zip has to be flashed from recovery. You can use artas cwm for locked boot loader found in development section.

[Q] Camera.apk file install help

Long story short I tried installing a different camera=no go. I saved the camera.apk photon file but when I went to installed it said "application not isntalled" I even used apk installer. Also put it in system/app folder. still no go. I even did so much research still no go..Did a factory restore lol still didn't show up(wow really). then I installed clockworkmod and did a factory restore, still didn't show up!!!! Looks like my only options would be to install a custom rom but I dont wanna....
So do anyone know how to install the camera.apk file?
I think you need to set permissions too.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1202743 Here you can try flashing this. You must 1st remove the old camera apk you installed. I think it only works with boot strap recovery.
If none of this works you can do a full wipe and flash sbf with rsd. Or flash custom rom.

Never had an hd2 until now.

I bought this hd2 used and it had aosp ics installed and clockworkmod as well. So I tried flashing another ROM and it wont boot.
I dont understand nand vs sd. Does that mean you flash and run the ROM off sd card?
This is what I got after flashing typhoon..

Makes no sense to me so maybe someone has sewn that before and can help me out. Thanks in advance.

From that pic, looks like u've got cLK installed and thats one of the nand ways of getting android on the phone.
So, you have to download the cLK version from the thread and install that through recovery. Here's a direct link from the thread:
http://www.eldoranet.fr/~typhoon/TyphooN_CM7_v3.8.1-cLK.zip
If you're stuck on that screen, assuming you have adb and fastboot set up; type in:
fastboot reboot recovery
Download hd 2 nand toolkit.. and i think u have to install Windows drivers that your hd2 can "speak" with your PC..

Hot to copy back deleted files if only sideload mode is available?

I ran into a faulty.
I deleted 3 files from /data/system
- locksettings.db
- locksettings.db-shm
- locksettings.db-wal
I made a backup earlier, but my phone does not want to boot up.
I want to copy back these 3 files, but only the recovery mode came up,
with "sideload mode".
What can I do?
Is there a way to make a .zip to push to the device?
(Pushing with "adb sideload filename.zip" is working, but the installation is stoped all the time, because the verification...)
Please help!
ps: I used this method to get rid of screen lock with VPN:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2666126
.... this lead me to this hell
Sorry, I shoukd write the title "How to..." not "Hot to.."
So I solved my problem.
I used original boot loader, recovery.
So I updated with ClockworkModRecovery, then I got adb shell with root privileges.

}
With the pull and push commands I could restore the (almost) original status.
I say "almost", because before that, I tried to relfash with the original firmware,
so all my "factory defaults and programs" came back.
That was a big rush for me....

[Xposed] J320A/AZ/AG nougat installer

Apparently root and a permissive kernel are not required to run Xposed framework. It's only needed to install the framework, and you know how I keep saying how nice it is that our engroot kernel still boots a rooted shell... so anyways here it is
Installer
Uninstaller
Step 1: unzip the file then fire up Odin and in the AP slot choose the included eng_root.tar

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Step 2: your phone will be stuck on the logo, but open a command prompt and navigate to the bin directory you unzipped.
Type:
Code:
adb devices
Make sure adb sees your device before proceeding, it'll prolly take a minute or two before it does
Step 3: double click the Xposed.bat file you unzipped and let it do it's thing
First boot will take a few minutes.
Without root you may run into issues with some modules, nothing I can do about that but report them here so everyone knows.
Haven't tried it yet, but is there a way to uninstall?
Forgot to post that xD

Boot stuck Xperia Z5

Hello guys
So, here is the story for which I need help. I'm used to reflash samsung phones and recently I ended up with Xperia Z5. I wanted to put on lineage os, because the stock is not giving me enough options. I decided that I'll proceed as any samsung phone before and that I'll just put TWRP on the phone and do the things. I unlocked the bootloader and followed the following guide youtu be/fdhAPeTJK6Y (I pasted the link like this to skip the "10 posts before links" thingy), BUT I didn't flashed the "boot.img" file before the recovery. After that I restarted the phone, entered TWRP, backed up my stock android just in case and totally forgot that I have explorer from the TWRP and I can mount my phone to get the old image and put the new directly on, so I restarted the phone and now it's in a boot stuck. I can't enter in any mode through the volume buttons. When the charge is dead, the phone goes off and when I plug it to charge it tries to boot and gets stuck on the screen from the image below. Any ideas how to fix it?
