How to Flash:
Make sure you have read : New WM6 Upgrade Guide
If you haven't HardSPL then you have to do Step 1 and Step 2 of that guide.
Download the CrystalV5
Removed the Links, I Will upload the updated version as soon I fixed the bugs
Make sure you know if your device is G3 or G4 (read the guide)
Run ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3.exe or ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe.
Follow the instructions on the screen
You are Done !
Known Bug
well this rom has certificate issue, meaning that you can not install programs that are not signed ! I found this bug after releasing the rom and I'm working on it. I will release an update and a patch later on.

Okay great ! Gonna see if i can find the link so i can change the pagepool to 12 mb..
EDIT .. Okay i checked out paradis pal's solution for changing pagepool, but the OS has to be version. 4.0.0.0 or 6.0.0.0 and this new Crystal is 2.20.. What can i do to change the page pool ?

why do you need the os.nb ?! you can extract it yourself from the nbf file. It's waste of time to upload it here. also with the old method you wont get the bigstorage. you HAVE TO use the new method.

actually I just want to edit the Ext.Rom ( added Adobe Reader LE in it). So it would be better for me. 'Coz I read much pdf file in my XDA.
I know with the old methode I can't get the bigstorage.
Anyway I will try to extract the nbf file. Dunno how to do.. But I'll search the way for it.

Contact Manager is update to version 0.11 and new skin and is within the EXTROM so it's free to install or leave out

And finaly the EXTROM is left open... but use it whicly. this gives many options. you can add updated cab files into there so they instal everytime you hardreset
you colud point your documents or emails to extrom and not having to worry about loosing then by a hardreset. it also givs 10 MB more storrage room.

No i'm testing the old camera the new camera is included but some say it's draining the battery faster but it does not seem so at all.
the versions that are uploaded have the new camera
Any reports on battery drain? I'm going on vacation and I can't afford to recharge the battery every day...

This version has no cube.. but that thread looks intresting might want to do something with Prophet Touch V7
LOOKS CUTE, i am going to test it. Hate cube thing so you know that i appreciate your decission to leave that turning thing out.
What about the camera? is it the new one with propper consumption?
And managed to charge it in the car-plug?
By the way, as i downloaded step 2 now i have to wait to download step 1. What is step1 is it the same as pdaviet for instance? Maybe we can use it as well. (!)

Step one is just for temporal WM5 flashing. As far as I know, you can use any WM5 rom for that.

It charges with my car charger and usb but I still have the batfix in ext rom

yup, the first 2 splash screen are installed in the same way as we upgrade the ROM of a device, and the third splash its either installed by a .cab or directly replaced in the windows directory.
anyways first impression so far, seems fast and stable.
here are a few points i did notice:
1. beam is enabled by default
2. the blue overall theme of the rom is amazing, though the background is kinda dull.

this is something inbetween Touch and TNT.
the idea is to make it multi language.
It's also an alternative for those that are tiered of the black themes and the Cube.
Is there any difference between this file and the nanoscopic beta?

Soon, Today I will release this rom. This rom has been tested and I believe it is the best rom I ever cooked. The reason that I'm releasing it today is that I'm a 3rd year engineering student and I have to study. I have no more time to spend on ROM cooking. Probably this will be my last rom for at least few month. I hope everybody enjoy it

Sprite Backup will restore to a certain degree between different roms, it will prompt when you attempt to restore to either the rom or the device im not sure how this effects the registry but the last restore I did went over the new ROM with no issues whatsoever since Sprite only restores program settings into the registry.
its only a tenner or $20 well worth dishing some money out for, not everything is free.

Thanks Personally I believe restoring the backups has some side effects.Base on some bad experience with backup apps I don't suggest restoring your backups using anything else but ActivSync. I think this rom is worth flashing and I hope you enjoy using it.

Just finished restoring a backup using SpriteBackup v6.0.2 Build 2065....success.....!!!!
1)no notification errors&no duplicate notifications
2)ROM is too fast
3)Battery consumption around 83mA(screen light at level 2&Wisbar&Wisbar Desktop)
5)all my settings are the same
6)no problems so far....
Except:
1)I am missing some shortcuts that were in the start menu(like contacts,calendar)but the apps work OK.
2)Dialer skin was wrong,edited the registry so it's ok now..
When restoring with sprite backup there are 3 options(ROM,Device,Safe Mode),I used ROM restore...

I called this edition Personal Edition because it's my own personal rom. I made it the way I like it. There were no beta for this release and there will be no further support for this Rom (not from me, busy studying) If you liked Crystal V3 speed, you will love this one .
Is it bug free ?! hell I don't know ! maybe it works for you the same way it works on my prophet , maybe it wont. Try it yourself . I had no problem with it in past 2 weeks .

If you didn't like HTC action Screen or even Home plugin , you can remove it from Crystal4\ExtROM folder . you also have to edit the Config.txt

well all those stuff can be somehow remove from external_rom even the HTC Home plug in ! This Rom is fast that's all i can say.

Well , It's better than Crystal V3. At least on my phone . so try it yourself. Sorry digifan as i said this is my personal rom. so it doesn't support chinese region. I can change the wince.nls but then i wont know if it's stable anymore.

I present to you the Shadowline Series. The roms I make are made to be cutting edge, using the latest in Windows Mobile and HTC with a mix of my own taste in graphics, tweaks, and fixes.
Because the purpose of this rom is to be cutting edge, not everything will always work as intended at all times, and that is where you come in at. I need all of you to test, and report back on what needs fixing, tweaking, or even suggestions for newer versions.
This rom, can not, and will never brick your device, unless you do not read the instructions or do something that you aren't supposed to do.
The latest HardSPL is always recommended as that is what the rom will always be based on.
If I do not implement a feature or a request, It is because it will not work, will break the intended design, or it will be worked in at a future time. But I do encourage feedback on everything as you are the ones using it, you should be the ones that have a say in it.

I just finished flashing mine. Everything seems to be running great so far.
@ redesignni, is it still doing it? if so reset, and if your old rom does not boot up, press "vol down + reset" to enter bootloader and then try flashing another rom again.

ok, dont think its anything to do with the rom... as HardSPL doesnt appear to have flashed correctly either...
**Edit** Run HardSPL as Administrator and then run This as Administrator and it flashed... well 60% as writing this.

Just got my D2 last Thursday and have not installed any rom so far. Was using a Kaiser previously.
Downloading your rom now. I've been reading and it looks like I need to Hard-SPL first. After that, I'll need to run CustomRUU for Topaz.
Question, instead of running CustomRUU for Topaz, can I skip this and go for SD Card flashing instead?

THE WAY TO FLASH A ROM USING THE SC-CARD (also tnhx to jiwei1984):
1. Make sure you have HARDSPL installed (soon...).
2. Format the sd-card to FAT32 (if not already).
3. Copy the ROM (.nbh) to the root of the sd-card and rename it to topaimg.nbh.
4. Bring the device into bootloader: press and hold Volume-down button and then Power button.
5. Confirm the question to upgrade.
6. Wait for upgrade to finish and enjoy...
@zard, yes SD flashing should work, but I have not tested it (worked great on my Kaiser!)
