Open settings\system\power you will see the cutie thing that you have never ever seen on Atom/Atom Exec/Atom life

Instruction: Copy AL1.dio to your storage card (smaller than 2 GB, you should format it first (FAT 16)) -> put it into your device then put your device into bootloader mode (Record + reset), wait until it reaches 100% it will hard reset your device => voila, your device is ready for the magic.
After flashing finished,First you should choose to enable FtouchFlo:
Start menu\ Program\ Tools \ FtouchFlo settings, choose tab "general", check the box "enable FtouchFlo" then "Done".
Now your Atom Life is ready ( but when FtouchFlo is running you can not Align screen, this is not a bug)
Now ->Slide your finger:
- left -> right to call the Launcher of Wktask
-right-> left to open Total Commander
- up->down to minimize running programs
-down-> up to call task manager 2.9
That's it. But you can change these behaviors by using "FtouchFlo settings"

yup, this will format your device, you should backup your device's contact,sms first (recommend you to use Pimbackup) bcoz in my rom, Pim backup 2.8 is included.
Before you use this Rom, ensure that you can flash it back to your WM 6.0, and you should backup your device with spb backup, or any others....

Yes, you can.
The only thing, I haven't ever tested is to combine a WWE ROM with the german Comet Extended ROM.
Just try it. If it doesn't run, report back and someone can upload the WWE Extended ROM.

I just flashed the WM6.1 OS and I haven't changed the Ext.ROM. Up to now I have no trouble with it, but I haven't tested all (e.g. data connection)...
How do you use this ROM, have you changed the Ext.ROM to the official Atom Life WM6 WWE one?
I think I also have to spend some time on the Ext.ROM, cause I'm not sure how it works... On my Prophet there were some cabs and one file, that defines the cabs to be installed, but on the comet (maybe on WM6) this works in an other way.

I belive you'll not have trouble with data connection, because the Network Wizard will configure the right settings for many Mobile Opperators automaticaly.
To take a look at your Extended ROM, you can unlock it and browse it with File Explorer:

Guys I purchased from Expansys the MWg Atom Life , can I put this ROM?
Also will I gain some RAM , because the unit has ONLY 24 MB free RAM.

Oh no, you can't.
Before you do this, please post your Rom and Extrom Version No. , furthermore the version No. of some of the MWG exclusive apps.
Maybe you have something new, we need to dump.
And yes, it was a joke.
Ofcourse you can flash this rom if you want, but there is no backup ROM from MWG to recover.
If you want to make a backup ROM, here is the way, I've done it for the XDA Comet.

I just want to know if there is any particular instruction for the TouchFlo to work aside from enabling it. Is there any program that has to be installed before it will function?
I tried to open pictures but it doesn't scroll at all. Am I the only one having this problem?
I've installed this ROM already, everythings work fine except the video call not working, anyone can help me solve this problem, please?

It's working fine with Camera Album. Start>Program>Multimedia>Camera Album. Previously in the absence of intructions, I was thinking that it will work with any picture viewer.

If you ask for my oppinion about this Rom, i must say that at the moment (22.05.2007) this Rom is the best of all WM6 Rom. there are no issues that i find out. But i'm only a normal user.

My quick review.
After install the ROM it happens to me that the screen looks different that ur screen. I can't see any BatteryStatus, I have to set "Menu" by myself (it shows only Today and Shutdown).
The Autorun.exe and Config.txt have never been activated. That may be the reason.
I pressed Camera + Comm buttons while doing hard reset.
Looks like it is too clean for me. But if the Config.txt file can be activated I can install something such as PDF reader and HTC Zip by myself.
Please suggest what happen to my installation...

I just installed the PDAVIET 1.1 version this afternoon and spent hours to get my applications re-installed and reluctant to jump to something new unless the improvement is obvious.
Can someone tell me other than the CommManager 1.6 which has 9 buttons, what are the major difference between the two?
I installed CommManager 1.5 which has 10 buttons (one for VOIP phone).

Yesterday did I install the rom pdaviet PV 1.1, and today I have installed this one, he was mentioning on John-Wu that were almost equal but that this one was spending less battery, but it seems to me that he is the other way round, to me I believe that battery was spending less the version 1.1, someone more has noticed it? or am I wrong?
What me goes better in this one is the wifi, it gets connected very fast and goes better.

The VoIP button hasn't functioned well so that i didn't add it in Commanager. If you want to config VoIP, run SipConfig.exe in Windows directory!

Look like they're the same but 4.0.0.01 PDAViet has better Optimization and OS. I recommend you to use 4.0.0.0.1 PDAViet version!

Ok thanks Cloudyfa for answering, me the truth me works very well quite. Am I commented by a friend who with the free hands earphone BT a lot of noises when it separates a little, has anybody proved it?, I the fact is that I cannot prove it because I have no earphones bt

Great Rom, installed it today and I really like most of the features, speed and it all seems to work fine.
The only thing that annoys me is the pshutdown..is there any way to disable it? When I choose shut down it just turns of my display.

In windows directory rename the file PowerOffWarnig.exe to PowerOffWarnig_old.exe and rename PowerWarnig.exe to PowerOffWarnig.exe, I use Resco Explorer for this operation.

I just tried smart1 v3, mobizpda fantastic v2.0 ac2, and now pdaviet 4.0.0.0.1.
I have to say, pdaviet is the keeper. Too many small little bugs in smart1 v3, mobizpda was full of "junk", and now the pdaviet rom seems clean and no major bugs to report so far. I'll report back in a few days...

My ExtRom install without a problem. To run your ExtRom, you need to downgrade to AKU2.2 or below, then upgrade to this rom.

If you don't like this feature, use this cab to restore it (u still can use psShutXP via "Shut Down")

But I have one issue: To change Theme on today screen it did not work with out reset.

What does that mean ? is it true that you use and modify the Atom Exec diskimage_Ver.nb0 ????

sorry folks, Im so busy atm, medkid, yes I had the lucky fortune to come across an Atom mobo that runs the Atom Exec Kernel (without screen flicker!), so I sneakely swapped them over
I will up some more screenshots, different size PP's a bit later....
can you post the system info ? does it show as "XDA Atom Exec" ? or juast "XDA Atom" ?

Im trying out this ROM right now and now waiting for the battery to reach 100% to do the battery rundown test.
I noticed that the powermanagement.cab is no more included...(is it no longer required?)
was this the cause of the battery drain?
what was it that you changed to fix the bettery drain issue?

Does it has anything differences in speed, free ram,battery life ? I know that it'll show 520 Hz in processor speed if you use BatteryStatus to show it up (I tried abusalza rom once, just to test how it looks then flash back to my rom).
BTW, why you need it before Jan 06 ?
basically the device use the same hardware, O2 changed something in the Atom just before releasing the Atom Exec (they're not silly) therefore prior to Jan 06 some Atoms had hardware exactly the same as the Atom Exec (obviously not 192MB rom) but they changed something around this time. Some HP uses are running the Atom Exec rom at the added benefit of the OC'ed CPU.

How can I flash this Rom ?
Instruction: Copy AL1.dio to your storage card (smaller than 2 GB, you should format it first (FAT 16)) -> put it into your device then put your device into bootloader mode (Record + reset), wait until it reaches 100% it will hard reset your device => voila, your device is ready for the magic.

Anyway many thanx for the beautuful and stable releases
One question: What are the improvements to the previous version? I coud not find one. The old one was very stable and got lots of free ram, with this one I got just over 25MB with a clean setup, witch the old one I got the same witch my today plugins an other stuff.
So where is the reason for updating to 6.1.0.3?
But anyway, great work, why can't the producer build such good ROMs?!

You have to edit the XIP-section and recook the ROM, scorpio16v was so kind to make a good tutorial, you can find here:

Didn't helped, everything is set as in that post and also no software is installed, I checked after hard reset. Can anyone confirm that on own atom life?

Under the "Key Mapping" Option in Advanced Settings, there are not the stored values, but default! And i can not change the "long press" options...

minor bug: Beam function will be take time when set-on.

sorry pal, any screen shot? think you need to type www.hotmail.com on the address bar in windows live service page then it will refer you to hotmail mobile version url . i can't remember the exact url .. something like this http://mobile.live.com/hm/folder.aspx

don't do the hard reset first, try do soft reset first. 1 of my friends installed games until the space full but still working fine till todate.
suggest to do the freeRAM occasionally and perhaps set schedule to do the soft reset phone every 3-4 days or everyday you can use addtimer to do that --> find lower version 3.08 still freeware

I've got a question regarding to "the mystery on imgfs structure". I just managed yesterday to cook an ultra high performance and speed ROM which I think would be interesting for some people. The thing is that I would like to cook the same one with some minor changes for international users. Those changes would be only in the initflashfiles.dat, in the Default.xml file in BatteryStatus folder and in a reg key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides]
"SLDte"="dddd' 'd' de 'MMMM". Do you think that a recooking with those minor changes would make the ROM changes its speed an performance? I am talking about Abusalza's in blue ROM I recently posted which after several atempts to make a less battery consuming one I surprisingly got an ultra fast one instead despite the fact that there are only hex:0096 free sectors left.

I already softreset first but it doesn't help, still freeze (wm load until some app and then hung, propably after photocontact). Now i'm downgrade to your WM6.1 A5 and it OK but I'm will try WM6.1 A6 again later (currently very busy in career).
I think may be i just continuous to push app while don't do softreset on some finished of installed app cause it freeze when softreset on total finished.

well, based on my experience, changing the content on the ROM will be change the size bytes in total on your ROM. and the tricky part is the way XPR compress the file/module into the imgfs will not the same every time. if you get more efficient compression sector than your ROM will be speed up and the other way more inefficient sector will be get result on low battery consumption.
fyi: this is my opinion, may correct and may not

thanks for your info, btw just spoken to my friend (the one that installed full game). he also encounter once hung during install the games + soft reset on windows screen (the one display windows mobile 6.1 green image) and he waited around 5 minutes without doing any soft/hard reset and finally he said the screen got passed through and can enter the windows as per normal and no more issue after that.

its not possible as our hardware and the drivers dont support it, the only way is to find some genius to hack widcomm or modify our bluetooth drivers, impossible!

To gain a screen like above go through setup, select Diamond3 as theme.
Tap yes to install ThrottleLauncher & 3DTouchFlo (no to AutoConfig and no to HTC Home enable)
and finally tap yes to softreset. If QuickMenu doesnt load or Wifi loads
automatically, softreset again and problem should be solved.
