And the most important thing, MORE FREE RAM AVAILABE ~ 29- 30 MB
Instruction: Copy AL1.dio to your storage card (smaller than 2 GB, you should format it first (FAT 16)) -> put it into your device then put your device into bootloader mode (Record + reset), wait until it reaches 100% it will hard reset your device => voila, your device is ready for the magic.
After flashing finished,First you should choose to enable FtouchFlo:
Start menu\ Program\ Tools \ FtouchFlo settings, choose tab "general", check the box "enable FtouchFlo" then "Done".
Now your Atom Life is ready ( but when FtouchFlo is running you can not Align screen, this is not a bug)
Now ->Slide your finger:
- left -> right to call the Launcher of Wktask
- right-> left to open Total Commander
- up->down to minimize running programs
- down-> up to call task manager 2.9
That's it. But you can change these behaviors by using "FtouchFlo settings"

Minor bug found: In my rom, you won't find "system info", here is what it needs, unrar and copy VersionCPApplet.cpl in to \windows then soft-reset.

Using 512mb and 1gb card dont work for me. Not able to flash. But surprisingly, I use 2gb card (fat 32) and it work. Just so that ppl know and to share my experience.

I can't find Saman's SMS Delivery Report configuration. Is it included? By the way, I was using this app before using your rom and it has problem where the timestamp for the SMS which is modified is broken. Because of this, any SMS which has been modified to include the contact's name always appear at the top of the list.
I haven't fully tried out this rom yet, so anyone can confirm this?

yes, it's included, but I don't want to place its shortcut to Tools so you can look for it in windows : SMSDRFix.exe. Carefully look at Settings\sounds\notifications, you will see "Messaging: SMS Delivery receipt"
If you can't use the exe to change what it shows, modify these registry value:

Strange thing happen. Whenever my O2 connect to activesync to pc, the camera light will turn on (dim light) and will flicker. when I disconnect, it will turn off. Any help? And how to turn off the bootup sound (music) ? Thanks

I just turned off the bootup sound by deleting the Audiaboot 0.1.lnk in /windows/startup.

Thanks. I do a bit of exploring and found Startup.mp3 in device. Its the bootup sound file. Reduce the volume to 25% (edit in audio editor). I like the sound but its loud when bootup. Now its just right.

The funniest thing is that I don't even have a charmer myself
You probably remember this but I am going to say it anyways so... You need at least bootloader ver. 2.xx to flash this rom.

Extract Charmer Touch.rar. Remeber to turn off your GSM module and make sure you have Active Sync connection. Run Upgrade_ROM.bat. Wait until you see some white fonts on black screen. Then release those 2 buttons. Push the green dial button.

greatest rom ever for charmer
What kitchen did you use do cook this ROM & can you share kitchen for this ROM or only SYS&OEM folders?
I haven't used a kitchen.
You dumped NBD rom for files and run pkgtool to create SYS&OEM folders?
I didn't have to do that. All I needed to do was to modify the registry, initflashfiles and .dll libraries. Plus some minor tweaks.
How can I run touch Cube?
There's supposed to be an icon on today screen between the two softkeys.
I make a hardreset and installed extrom and cube is working.

Installed your Image as described. Clean Install AKU 3.3 -> 6.6.666.
Customizing done. Still no Icon
And...
One Issue I found in Touch FLO WM6 with working cube (gullum prophet rom flashing to charmer) by Anja31 and yours:
Backlight Setting with that HTC Tool doesn't work. gullum's release freezes and your ROM just doesnt do anything when clicking that Icon in QuickLaunch.

Have you soft resetted your device after the customization?
I also don't have the icon... the TouchFLO sometimes starts when i press the middle part, but not always, which is weird
I've made a hard reset, then a soft one, still nothing.
Adjust backlight also doesn't work.
Otherwise, it's a great ROM, pretty fast

Thats it, that's the icon between two softkeys. If you don't like it, you can always use the softkey to activate touchflo.
Storage Card Trouble

Ok, it was set to 1 but with it set to 0 i still have the problem.
I have restarted my phone (power off not soft reset) checked the registry is still set to 0.
Any other ideas? Is it worth me detailing all the other reg values under that key?

Yes. About 23-24mb after startup. You can hibernate with quickmenu. Since all the cube options is loading at startup, so we can open all the cube option w/o lags

i just update my atom, but there is something wrong with this cooked ROM.
after updating, ROM version is OS 5.2.1413 (build 18508.0.7.0)..... but it should be OS 5.2.1948....

bythe way, there was no error during flashing, it went smoothly.
Bug Found
It seems that the audible sound gets cut off after a few hours of usage. Means that there is no sound from the device's speakers either when the phone's ringing or playing any music. This does not concern Bluetooth. Bluetooth works fine though.
Only way to get the sound back is to soft reset the device.
I tried this ROM on 02 Atom Execs, both are having the same problem.
I found some bugs in the touchflo. sometimes it stays in the cube screen even though you slide it down to go back to today screen.

Hmmm not quite sure though. Normal bluetooth headset works fine. I'll try it later on my other bluetooth stereo headset and update you later.

1. in the Total Commander, just type \extended_rom\ at the top address bar,
2. in the virtual 2 windows mode, just copy and paste then...
3. Mine is a G3, you might had a G4 then, different ram........

DON"T make it lower than 4 MB PP>>>>>>>>>

Not directly. Light means the ROM has less software included. That is only the base operating system without any Manila, TouchFLO and so on. That means you are free to install any additional software you want, which gives you the possibility to upgrade it when a newer version becomes available, but on the other hand, you have to invest a bit more time into setting up everything into becoming a more comfortable interface.
But back to your original question; a general rule may be applied: the less software you install onto your device, the less the CPU usage, the less the power consumption and the longer the battery endurance. (-;

2. what registry value do i have to change so as to disable the threaded sms? Tried searching the registry but couldn'n find any relevant key?

I recommend trying the GC Java Pack -- it is easy to install, stable and comes with Gmail and Opera Mini preinstalled. (I am currently using version 1.2.2 of the pack, will upgrade to 1.2.6 tomorrow.)

I don't know the registry key / value, but I do know you can use the Advanced Configuration Tool v3.2.0.0 by Julien Schapman to achieve this.

The info in the first post by pliquid is just copied over from this thread at PDAviet.
By "Basic Apps/Programs" T2M means there isn't any third party software installed, just the basic Windows Mobile and the MWg Extended ROM. That means exactly what it says. If you want any additional functionality, like .NET, TouchFLO, Manila 2D, Total Commander, ..., you have to install it yourself. The only software preinstalled should be the Equalizer, CommManager, a basic file explorer, Internet Explorer, MWg Image Editor, Calculator, FM Radio, Media Album, Camera, probably also MS Office, Windows Media Player and two games: Solitaire and Bubble breaker.
Not sure about anything from this list though, and probably I also forgot something.
I don't know if anyone else has the same issue, but last night i rotated the screen from the screen menu to landscape and then exited the settings menu. When i went back to the settings menu to rotate the screen again to portrait the 3 different tabs (personal, system, connections) were not visible,
It seemed like the icons of all the 3 tabs were together in the window but you couldn't see them all. I had to select tab from the keyboard to go the different tabs, although i couldn't see the icons and then navigating with the d-pad and selecting icons in random without seeing the icons.
Just in case go to settings->personal->buttons and assign a hard button to do the screen rotation, then switch to landscape and close everything. Go back to settings and see if you have the same problem.
I spent some really "happy" hours until i hit the right icon and was able to change back to landscape and I am not sure if after a soft reset the screen is by default portrait.
i don't encounter any problem in changing into portrait or landscape...

When in landscape go to start->settings and tell me if you can see all the tabs.
Indeed it is awsome. VERY stable and very quick.
And the battery too. 24 hours, since last charge, with 45 minutes browsing last night through wifi and is now at 55%!!!

YES, i can see all the TABS.. just i said, i dont encounter any problem in changing from portrait into landscape mode and vice versa.. if you still encounter such problem, try to soft reset your device and if the problem still occur..try to RE-Flash again your ROM..

You are right. Now i can see the tabs too, but after the third soft reset I made since i flashed the rom. All the softresets are because of the advanced configuration and not because of any problem with the rom. Very nice rom again.
I am looking for a clean rom. I already tried this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448074 but I am not satisfy from the battery drain point of view.
Does someone have tried both and can tell me which one prefered and why?
Does someone know if this rom is based in Mwg or 02 drivers? I believe mwg is better for battery life.
Does someone know if this rom has hspda support?

Miss Manila interface,in terms of screen design, but have to forget, as this rom is so fast and stable.
The default is "BEAM ON" so when I untick beam, battery last long as well .
But one suggestion , I want to get the weather board function, I will find software instead.

T2M has always been a good cook in atom life
FYI, o2 connect has been down due to the seeO2 site has been taken down to due to MWG take over
this rom is mainly LIGHT version so that soem light version seeker will get this rom
is u want FULLY LOADED rom

Audio Manager is missing?
Installed this nice one ROM. No bugs on my O2 Atom Life. But I could not find AudioManager in the programs. In fact I did not also seen AudioManager in list of included programs. Should we have to install it seperately?
Rest is all fine. ROM is very light weight and fast. Device is running like my latest desktop pc now.
Using this with SPB Mobile Shell 2 and Burts iContact. Superb combination for me. Thanks for such a nice ROM.
PS: I am indiacam, not indianram, who is not satisfied with this rom. lolz

Have problems with bluetooth.. once i paired with more than 2 devices the display list goes blank.. even the "Add device" is gone...
but this is a really good rom... has a lot of memory to work with.. gona try the Manila version... hope it doesn't have this bug...

What are those big fonts stand for?
Please appreciate the efforts from the author, ever since Medkid stop cooking new ROM for us, it's very hard to see people paying so much in contributing the new ROM.
If you know to make a new ROM please do so, else please stop from doing such a spam mail in the forum.
You can choose not do downlown and use the new ROM, you have the right to do so but please don't give us such an unwanted/unfriendy attitude.
The 'Data Connection' under the Connection Manager tab is disabled (cannot be turned on or off) on this ROM or is it me? I can connect via wireless but not GPRS. No other flaws found.
