[MOD][4.4/5.x/6.0] No Lock Home v2.2.0 (WiFi/BTS Unlock) - Xposed Framework Modules

For No Lock Home v0.6.4 for Android 4.4.x see the content:
No Lock Home is Xposed module for lockscreen bypass based on network connectivity - when you're home, connected to your trusted WiFi AP, lock screen will not be shown (or you can set it up to display Swipe to unlock lockscreen). Once you disconnect from your AP, your default secured lockscreen will be displayed.
It's the very same principle as uses app SkipLock (formerly Unlock With WiFi) or it can be achieved using Tasker with Secure Settings. You can also try SmartLockScreen.
Similar functionality is also partialy integrated into Android 5.0.
So why use No Lock Home instead?
It works with any unlock method (Swipe/Face Unlock/Pattern/PIN/Password/...) - including fingerprint reader on Samsung Galaxy S5 (stock ROM w/ TouchWiz)
It's easy to setup (compared to complexity of Tasker). No Lock Home only requires you to enable module, reboot and add AP MAC address (using just two taps)
It's completely Free
Next to the built-in unlocking in Android 5.0, using No Lock Home is the fastest and most efficient solution (because it integrates itself directly into the system keyguard)
Additional advantages:
Unlock based on connected WiFi networks, Bluetooth devices or Cell towers
No service, no wakelock, no internet connectivity - just a few method hooks within system keyguard
Crazy small apk
Using AOSP methods which are also available in Samsung/LG devices as well as CyanogenMod
Limitations
Xposed required (therefore root required)
Version 0.x is for Android 4.4.x/KitKat only (no 5.0 Lollipop)
As seen on XDATV...
...and other tubes
It has been tested on Android 4.4.2-4 - Samsung Galaxy S5 (stock & CM11), LG G Pad 8.3 (stock & CM11), Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 (CM11). Since version 0.5.3 it's also compatible with OnePlus and HTC so all Android (4.4+) phones should be covered.
Download
No Lock Home is also available from Xposed Module Repository (QR code below) and Google play.

No Lock Home v2.0 is Xposed module for Android 5.x/6.0. It's core functionality is based on TrustManagerService from GravityBox implementation. Just like with the KitKat version of No Lock Home, this solution has benefits like no background running service or best compatibility with various unlock methods.
Advantages of this module (reasons for spin off):
GravityBox is designed for AOSP so using it even for WiFi unlock alone on CyanogenMod breaks some CM features.
No Lock Home offers additional features: using AP MAC addresses, skipping first unlock after device boot, unlocking on any WiFi network, cell tower (BTS) unlock
Additional notes
CyanogenMod profiles alone offer lockscreen settings but it's impossible to configure it for both WiFi and BT (using it with Google's Smart Lock for BT is somehow buggy)
Using No Lock Home for WiFi and Google's Smart Lock for BT work just fine therefore this No Lock Home doesn't duplicate such functionality
Download: Xposed repo or Play Store

Great concept. Is there any way to add extra WiFi connections
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Trying now. Promises to be a great convenience for my clumsy fingers!
More WFI hotspots? Might team up with wifi scheduler app.

Great app. I'll start using now. Suggestions for future releases:
- Set a list of more Trusted MACs (with name for identification). EDIT: Just saw how to do it, but a more friendly UI is always appreciated.
- Option to set which type of lockscreen we want (No lockscreen at all/normal lockscreen)
- App icon on launcher
Keep up the great work.

Agreed, it'd be super cool if you could choose to have a secure lockscreen when off a saved AP and an unsecured/swipe lockscreen when connected to a saved one.

awesome. using it on my rooted nexus 5.
more than one AP would be cool and no lock while connected to bt carkit would be nice.
I used a tasker profile for that, but if home was pressed, lockscreen showed up regardless

Great app

Really great App !!! But it doesn't work on my N4 4.4.4 - stock rooted...
Install App + checked it in Xposed-> rebooted -> checked my MAC -> rebooted.... still nothing.
I use Pattern lock.
What am I doing wrong ?
Thank you
Ok. Works!

Working cool at Nexus5.
Enabling multiple hotspots would be good, and to make it through SSID instead of MAC. Also with BT carkit audio

works well on Moto G with 4.4.3

Crashed when click to the module on stock nexus5 4.4.4 (with xposed framework running)

Great great great! Have been looking for such app for a long time, now finally one that does it well. Thank you!
Also looking forward to the disable lock by Bluetooth function. It will be very convenient to have it when out of home but in some relatively secure place, such as in the car.

Works perfectly on Galaxy Tab Pro on Android 4.4.2.
Thanks!!

How do I set this list? I can't figure it out.

Didn't work. HTC M8 :/

Use semicolons ( ; ) after each MAC address on the field.

Good app, working well. I wish better interface for editing the macs list, including small name with indication of active mac.
Thanks.

Works fine on my stock rom 4.4.4 nexus 4. Thank you!

Working great on galaxy note 2 4.4.2

Hey, I have a Samsung Intrepid with WM6.5 320x240.
Installed your program, asked me for a license code after I clicked on the icon. I did not have a license code, due to only wanting to try it. So, I clicked the close button, and researched a little to why it asked that. Tried to go back by clicking the icon once again and nothing happened. Uninstalled and reinstalled it numerous times and every attempt after I click the program's icon, nothing happens.
If an update is still in the pipeline this app would be a gem. At last something finger-friendly to replace AdvancedConfig. Just waiting for the WQVGA version as well now
Hi
Nice work on getting this app together, but...
On a stock SEA 6.5 ROM on a TP2, the finger friendly thing does not work.
The stock ROM allows for Explorer to be scrolled with your finger natively, but not something like 'Notes'.
I was hoping your app would add that functionality, but it doesn't seem to.
Cheers

[Q] Tasker unreliable on SGS III

Hi all,
i've installed the Tasker Trial (from the developer site) a few days ago on my SGS III (no root, using stock rom).
I want Tasker to disable my Lockscreen security when i'm at home. Recently i tried this setup:
Profile: Trusted Zone
State: Wifi Connected [ SSID:ssid1/ssid2 MAC:* IP:* ]
A1: Secure Settings [ Configuration:Clear Password/Wait For Unlock ]
Profile: Untrusted Zone
State: Not Wifi Connected [ SSID:ssid1/ssid2 MAC:* IP:* ]
Abort Existing Task
A1: Secure Settings [ Configuration:Set Pin ]
Click to collapse
I've tried nearly every setting i could imagine. With and without "Secure settings" plugin, pattern or pin on lockscreen, foregrund mode with notification icon or background without notification. Also i've registered Tasker and secure settings plugin as device admin in security settings.
My problem is, after setting up all necessary profiles and tasks everything seems to be fine, but after a while the display is locked even though i'm connected to my wifi at home. (yes, wifi is enabled all the time, even in lockscreen ;-) )
Also i've noticed that tasker sometimes displays a notification saying "Low memory". On SGS3? Realy?
I hope anyone could help me how to run tasker in a reliable way on sgs3.
Thanks in advance.
Hey man, sorry I can't help but I am running one task on my Spirit GS III.
My task is to connect to Wi-Fi according to the near cell tower.
Anyway, mine seems to be working just fine.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
I dint think everything is perfect with tasker and ics. I think I red in the google groups about some things that may not function perfectly.
I have my lockscreen disabled when Bluetooth is connected in my car, and when it's connected to power. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sorry, that's the best I can offer you.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk 2
I've used tasker since my desire days. I had profiles that turn wifi on and off and go into silent mode etc.
The only profile that doesn't work for me is turning off the LED. In fact for me I haven't found anything that will turn off the LED
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Thank you guys.
I've also searched the web.
Unfortunately, i think there is a problem with Tasker and ICS (especially with SGS3?).
Maybe there will be an update for tasker...
Does anyone of you knows an app which allows me to control the Lockscreen behaviour through Wifi status?

I use Pattern, and this worked for me.
1)
Press the "+" to create a new profile. Name it what you want (I called it "unlock at home")
Press the "state" button.
Press the "Net" button.
Press the "Wifi Connected" button
Press the search button for the "SSID" and choose your network (wifi must be turned on!)
Press the green accept button.
2)
Now the "Task Selection" window appear.
Press "New Task" and name it whatever you want (I called it "Unlock")
Press the "+" button
Press the "Display" button
Press the "Keyguard" button
Set the Keyguard status to "Off"
Press the green accept button.
Press the green accept button again.
3)
Now you are back at the main profile window. Long press on the name you made for 2).
Press "Add Exit Task"
Press "new task" and name it what you want (I called it "Lock")
Press the "+"
Press the "Display"
Press the "Keyguard"
Set the status to "On"
Press green accept button.
You are done.
Now you phone will disable the keyguard when you are connected your home wifi network and enable it when you are not connected.
Notice. If you turn the screen off and on again within a second or two, the screen will turn off again, dunno why. So when you test it, turn the screen off and wait like 5 seconds and then turn it on.
Good luck

I made this tutorial for the eduroam networks at german/european universities. In this tutorial it will be explained how to setup an automatic enableing/disableing pattern lock. At my university place I have to use pattern or pin lock because of the "telekom root ca 2 certificate", otherwise the internet won't work. So the described steps should be very similar to your problem.
I edited the parts so you can use it 1:1
Requirements:
- Installed and working BusyBox App
- Installed and working Secure Settings App
--->Installed Helper in Secure Settings
- Installed and working Tasker
- Create Lockscreen (Password, Pin or Pattern Lock)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Open Tasker Application:
- Create new profile and name it like you want.
- At the "First Context" choose location and locate the place where you don't need the secure lockscreen. Instead of location you can choose whatever you want. In e.g. WiFi
- If you're done, just add a "New Task" and name it e.g. "deactivate pattern" or how you like
- Add an action ( Plugin -> Secure Settings -> Edit -> choose at DEV ADMIN ACTIONS "Password/Pin" or at HELPER ACTIONS "Pattern Lock"
---> For Password/Pin use these settings:
imageshack.us/photo/my-images/266/screenshot2012071109483.png
---> For Pattern Lock use these settings:
imageshack.us/photo/my-images/69/screenshot2012071109551.png
- Save the settings and check them all. You got a new profile with one task now. Long press at the task and add an "Exit Task". Use the same steps from above ( the last 2 steps ) just name it e.g. "activate pattern"
---> For Password/Pin use these settings:
(Insert your security Informations)
imageshack.us/photo/my-images/267/screenshot2012071109574.png
---> For Pattern Lock use these settings:
imageshack.us/photo/my-images/515/screenshot2012071109571.png
- Save all the settings you made and then you should have a profile which shows minimum one context and 2 tasks ( Input and Exit task)
That's it... i hope it work! If not let me know Tasker and Secure Settings are a very powerful tool and handle them with care!
Good Luck
Thanks to all of you.
Today i've tried the Trial version of "Delayed Lock" from the market with the Wifi Plugin.
An what should i say?
It works like a charm :good:
Less features than Tasker, but less expensive...
Nevertheless i will try your profiles even if i think i tried this settings before
Regards
For me it doesn't quite work.
When I turn off the pattern lock, it activates swipe unlock instead of no unlock screen.
I tried to turn off keyguard too, but with no effect at all.
I'm on stock rom with root.
Same for me, but I like it so. Don't know if this is a bug or a feature.

Guys, check Tasker website, there's a beta version there. It might solve your problems.
EDIT: check if you have the latest version: 1.3u1 I haven checked before posting, there is no more beta. Sorry.

Ok maybe i got something: When you configure a VPN or install a new certificate, Android deactivates the possibilty to choose the less secure options in the security / lockscreen menu. If you now delete any VPN connection and/or user defined certificates, tasker and secure settings should work. At least for me it does. Can anyone verify this?

[Apps] Recommended Apps for Omate Truesmart / x201

This is a quick thread to track some of the apps I've tried out and have kept or haven't gotten to work. Most of these where downloaded from the Play Store using the APK and method described by Lokifish's Info thread.
Post your favorite apps and ideas
Best Hardware Mod Ever:
- Drill holes to access power and home in the dock
- highly recommended general apps
-- chrome - browser works well
-- gmd gesture control - create custom gesture controls available in all apps. needs lokifish security patch to request superuser access. I've disabled all the default gestures and made some user gestures for home, volume control, change input method, and search buttons (diagonal swipes from each corner)
-- lux - lower the brightness to level below 0% for better low-light visibility and some battery savings. Has options to use the camera for automatic brightness settings, but I have the manual bar in my notification tray
-- mx player - video player with gesture controls
-- no lock - disables touch screen events, can be triggered via the hardware camera key (remapped thanks to xposed additions) to minimize accidental actions and unintended battery drain
-- sambadroid - fileserver on your wrist, great way to move files around on your wrist
-- sharekm - use your computer keyboard and mouse to control the screen over wifi and bluetooth
-- swipe statusbar - temporarily show the statusbar in other apps
-- watchfaces - the version on play seems to work better for me
- recommended xposed modules
-- ultimate dynamic nav bar - AMAZING bottom on-screen navigation bar module for xposed framework. I have it setup with back, home, menu, recent apps, vol+, vol-, and hide navbar on screen. There's a light version on the play store, but the author has the full version in his thread above. worth the cost to support the dev!
-- app settings - set per application dpi, density, and rotation overrides.... without rebooting!
-- gravitybox - general tweaks and setting for mtk based devices
-- xposed additions - allows you to reassign the functions of the 2 physical buttons for better customisation. supports single press, multiple presses, long presses. I have the home button long press mapped to the android camera action to trigger "no touch" screen locking
- working companion app options (none are perfect. none can easily turn on the screen and display the alert when locked. however everyone has their own needs for companion applications. )
-- m2d my second device - recieve alerts and control media players over bluetooth. a bit complicated to configure and still in early development, but functional. Author is active on XDA and has been working with smartwatches forever.
-- omate companion app from ostore + truesmart master app from play - limited functionality at the moment, passes notifications as recieved on the phone which means often you'll get an alert that there are "3 new messages", no way to respond
-- swapp link - recieve and reply to sms, answer and make calls, recieve alerts, control media players. easier to configure than m2d
-- tablet talk - answer calls, receive and reply to sms (messenger app only) to your phone from the omate over bluetooth (flakey) or wifi (power hungry). requires adjustment of dpi for use
- untested companion app options
-- notisync - listed as working on galaxy gear forums and has a good truesmart review on play. potential battery hog
-- pushbullet -
-- tablet notifier - listed on galaxy gear forums, reviews indicate connectivity problems
- working
-- big launcher - home launcher replacement designed with big ui elements
-- dropbox - requires dpi modification (use app settings xposed module) to access all the ui
-- easytether pro - tether your phone's connectivity to your watch
-- es explorer - popular file manager, I mainly use it for easy smb share browsing / streaming
-- Firefox - browser works well too although a bit slow.
-- flit keyboard - great small form factor keyboard
-- foldersync - sync folders to cloud systems
-- foscam viewer - ip cam viewer, ui elements are a bit large but otherwise working
-- gmd hide soft keys - "once rooted ... makes life much easier as it gives you soft keys to use"
-- pocket - offline web page viewing
-- nova launcher - works well
-- swype keyboard - i like it better than fleksy
-- titanium backup - scheduled backups
-- total commander - classic file manager with networking plug-ins for everyday use
-- Twitter - works well ... you can tap on a tweet to automatically zooms up a more readable size.
-- Yahoo weather - works great
- non-working
-- blueputdroid - use your watch as a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. incompatible bluetooth stack
-- Tweetcaster - doesn't refresh and gets stuck on an old date
- testing
-- datasync+ - paid version supports sync of app and data files over bluetooth. still haven't finished testing!

Twitter works well but not tweetcaster which is my fav. Tweetcaster for some reason doesn't refresh and gets stuck on an old date. Twitter is nice as you can tap on a tweet to automatically zooms up a more readable size.
Yahoo weather works great,
Firefox browser works well too although a bit slow.
I'm doing this with WiFi directly connected to my home WiFi. Can't wait for the Bluetooth connectivity to be fixed so I can use the internet shared with my phone.

There's an xposed module called "App Settings" which will allow you to change the dpi for just the dropbox application. May be worth a try. I know foldersync supports dropbox, but I don't make much use of my dropbox account so I couldn't say

Is that xposed module already on my device from the ROM and the Loki patch? Or if not where do I obtain it?

The new patch (coming out today) adds the build.prop edits back which fixes the size issue for almost every app.

It's on the download list of xposed installer.
Added to Common Issues and Fixes & MISC section of the [INFO] sticky
Google Experience Launcher is fantastic.
I absolutely love the News+ paid version. It's a news reader that will actually read out Google News and your individual RSS feeds. I can listen to the news while getting ready in the morning without having to drag my phone along with me. I've also installed the Ivona text-to-speech which significantly increases the quality of the voice.
They both work perfectly and have added amazing value to the Truesmart for me.

A dremel 'hack' to access buttons while in cradle/dock
Not an App, but I wasn't sure where best to post this.
While waiting for a better method, I took my dremel with its thinnest drill bit and carefully drilled two holes in the cradle/doc. This, with a toothpick, lets me access the buttons while it is in the doc.

Dropbox works on mine :
1) After the installation, you have the 'How to screen', Goto the last page, you will see a blue line a the bottom
you have to click on it (It takes to me few try)
2)Once it's done, on the other page, you will see a 'Login' link, click on it and enter your email / password
3)Once you are logged in, you will have a popup to enable 'Auto sync picture' just swipe back (right to left) to dismiss it.
4)If you want to enable 'Auto sync picture', swipe left to right, Settings popup (will display) and then you will be able to activate the auto sync

This didn't work for me on my Omate TrueSmart - couldn't view enough of the screen to see a blue line.
But I was able to get DropBox working well on the TrueSmart by using a bluetooth keyboard to log in. Connecting a bluetooth keyboard to the TrueSmart solved many difficulties I was having entering passwords with the small on-screen keyboard.

Works fine with the patch which you should have applied as soon as you got your device.

[MOD][XPOSED] ClockToFlash [1.0]

Hi guys, this is my first Xposed Module, so please report every problem you get and I'll try to find some fix for you.
If you like my work a thanks is enough, if you don't like it try to give me some idea to make it a better module.
ClockToFlash v1.0
Download from Xposed Repository
This module let you turn on camera flash simply tapping twice on the clock. It works both with unlocked phone and on lockscreen (also with password) .
Tested with: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo (SM-N7505) with Note4Mini ROM
Reported NOT working on Nexus 4
Why did you code this if you can use quick toggle?
Because I have a Galaxy Note 3 Neo with poor support and I hate samsung quick toggle (no flash and xposed module are not so good with touchwiz). And it's more comfortable (to me) then pulling down the notification bar, too.
How does this module work?
This module hook to the clock method onAttachedToWindow()
that can be found inside SystemUI.apk
package com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy
class Clock.java
When you tap twice on the clock, it will start a new Service, that will turn on flash
With a second double tap, the service will close the flash and shutdown himself.
Why don't you release the source of your module?
SOURCE WILL BE RELEASED ON GITHUB WITH VERSION 1.1, I haven't released it now simply because I have no time atm. If you don't trust closed source project wait some days (could be 2 or 20, don't know) and I'll release all the source
TODO:
Create an XDA thread Done!
Create github repository to share opensource code
Settings to enable/disable debug messages
Settings to enable/disable security warning message after some time
Settings to enable/disable automatic flash shutdown after some time
Let user set max time between two tap to enable flashlight
Support at [email protected], or at www.nerdz.eu, username Coletz
I love this module. I was using Advanced Power Menu just for the flash feature, but this is smaller and works great, even from the lock screen and it works with the double tap to sleep module as well. I do have one issue where my flash will randomly turn on from time to time, sometimes I don't notice for a while because it is in my pocket.
I am running a rooted Galaxy S5 with stock 4.4.4 (NK2) update.
Works very nice, even when clock is on the middle of notibar.
The app does not work on 4.3 I am not able to install the app
is not working on lg g2 (it has double tap to sleep):tapping the the area of the clock widget does nothing elsewhere the screen shouts
Many times, after turn on screen, swipe on lockscreen, Im unable to take down notification bar. Turn off screen and turn on again, and will be works
Apk mirror anybody?
Guys I'm sorry for the random turn on problem, I think I've fixed it and I'll update the repo today. I'll keep it in the beta status. Module download will ne up in a while
Marshmallow support incoming?
Any chance of this module running on older devices (Jellybean)?
bootloob
I have Sony z2 d6503 and when I tried the module it my phone stuck on booting

Using NFC with locked Device

Hi,
i like the NFC Feature, but it doesn't work when the device is locked. i should work mit the smart lock feature in android lollipop, but on my z2 works 4.4.2 (stock-rom; rooted) and at the moment i don't want to update. is there any other way to use nfc-tags even if the device is locked?
the only solution i found: disable keylock using a app like wi-fi matic. after that (at home of course) i can enable the display without pin and can use the nfc-tags. bt i hope there is a better solution.
pieremallao
Starting with LP they disabled nfc when screen is off to prevent malicious code-injection or whatever...
It Is a mess...
But you are lucky - if you stay at KK or below, you could just unlock with nfc-tag while screen was off (using xposed-module "nfc lockscreen off enabler").
You have to install xposed of course for this to work.

Had the same problem. Xposed-module (NFC LockScreenOff) is working perfect for me.
