Welcome to VanirAOSP.
Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
minor UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
active notifications (improved active display + lockscreen notifications)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
additional quicksetting tiles
immersive desktop <- fully configurable immersive mode
low profile mode
statusbar mods
clock & battery mods
lockscreen blur and other mods
soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
many improvements and new features unique to vanir
more to come when i feel like updating the op

Heaven has come to the zultra!!! Thank you very much! Can't wait to use this as my daily driver.
Noticed only two things:

These are not device specific bugs so it will be fixed eventually in the sources
Features stated in OP will roll out slowly after the guys at vanir stabilise most devices and have more time to backport features

BTW guys, there is MultiROM support in my unofficial builds, meaning, you can use it as your 1st ROM

Wait what!
Vanir? Awesome

Themes a bit more flakey than other ROMs. Settings fell over quite a few times. Need to change DPI for landscape nav bar.
Adaptive brightness works well.
Liking the choice for another primary in multirom.

I transitioned from LiquidSmooth to this and I'm feeling it... The BT issue i had with Liquid is no more. But I hope you can apply the camera workaround in a future build because its not working yet...also, is there a adblock option hidden in the settings somewhere?, some ads are breaking thru.

Any chance you'd be willing to support the GPE ZU?

Hello two days later....
Still looking for someone thats running this rom on a GPE device
I am sorry to interrupt this, but I believe that this thread is actually dangerous due to a single line statement in the op....
This is a untested build because I do not know anyone with the GPE edition, it should work fine seeing as the regular Togari does.
Click to collapse
AFAIK, that means nothing or else people would be able to flash Roms from the xperia version to the gpe, and unless I am mistaken, this is not possible without hard bricking the device.
I am sorry but unless and until this ROM is tested to at the very least flash without hard brick, which I still have not seen anyone in this thread do, I will close the thread and remove links. While I understand that coming across people willing to sacrifice their devices for testing is not simple or easy, releasing a completely untested build for a device based on evidence from a different device is not exactly the most responsible thing to do.
Until the op can provide evidence that this is safe to flash, I am locking this down.
I am the one who knocks...
Edit: The OP has provided proof that the ROM was actually built using the tree from the CM repo for this device. I am reopening the thread. Thank you for your understanding.

@REV3NT3CH, this ROM is too smooth! Thanks for sharing. Honored to rock your work on yet another device. You did twisted good things for my G2. Appreciated. Still setting up but the feel of the ROM is already solid - no jitters, tears or rough activity transitions pulling on the hardware. And that's after a short time of settling in. The tell tale signs of your kernel genius, no doubt. (=
Funny thing: Wasn't expecting the shock I got at the boot ani; watched the Google logo jump just before Desolation woke me up. Thought I was on my way into a bootloop. Instead, these electric splashes of color roll out & shocked my glazed 4AM eyes. Pretty sure I heard myself squeal - in fear first, then delight Lol Hey, a bold boot animation for one seriously well executed ROM! ?
Again, Thanks

Krexus-CAF is what the name implies. The Krexus unique combination of mods, on top of a clean uptodate and latest CAF source.
Built mainly of top of AOSP-CAF (with permission) and using only what's necessary from all the other great non-nexus device supporting ROMs (CyanogenMod, Dirty Unicorns, AOSPB, Tesla etc), Krexus-CAF tries to provide the maximum compatibility possible with CM-based device trees while keeping a small ROM base.
Lead Developer: @KreAch3R
About Krexus:
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.

Hardware key config has not been added yet, since this is supposed to be a Nexus rom, and Nexus don't have that. Same goes for navbar toggle, it will be added now that we are bringing up the oneplus devices. I am not the lead dev here like on GZR roms, so i can not just push stuff

Waht is oneplus doze?
Which camera app recommended for this ROM? I have oppo camera. When I take photo with front camera the photos are upside down..Also there are lot of grains when we take photos using rear camera..pls this is not a compliant just my observation..the ROM feels good..like the minimalistic approach..

If you use nova launcher your can set a screen gesture to launch recents. That's what I did.

Hi Martin, thanks for building such an awesome looking ROM, couple of suggestions between the big kings on the community right now.
Between Darkobas most recent build and Sultans most recent build being the 16th I think,
Camera comparisons, I believe using Sultans Camera (average shutter, great quality) would be a great way to go, compared to Darkobas' (quick shutter, not as good quality) so if you could get your hands on that would be awesome.
The screen is absolutely beautiful and well lit with a superb color match on the new sultan build as well, if you could get that on here that would be astounding.
I'm not trying to fanboy, just giving suggestions, sorry if I sound rude/intrusive.
Being AOSP, with CAF kernel, this should provide greater battery life then most roms out there. Will definitely keep an eye on this ROM.
Really like the idea behind the DozeOnePlus, that's pretty freaking awesome!
Testing this out and love how smooth and basic it is will give a battery report soonish. Is there anyway to add a camera apk to it.

edit: just read the recent posts and it is yet to be added.. got it

If your comfortable with it very easy to edit the build prop. Or there's a flashable zip. I check every ROM I flash because I can't stand the echo on speaker phone.
Great!!
Nice rom n smooth af hahaha but can u check why i see my battery icon abit smaller than other rom? N can u add battery percent inside battery icon?

I prefer the stability, maybe after trying to use different Android version, I now like something that enough for daily driver. We make this ROM for this reason. We choose the feature for the ROM very strictly and we will try to remove unnecessary things as much as possible. Some options maybe not available because I think many people don't use it too often. But if there are many requests, that's ok we will add them back to the ROM .
a dark mode would be very useful as we are using a perfect amoled display. at least that's my opinion.

There is no any equalizer or audio fx options found.
The ROM is smooth and fast but the phone heats up too much even in normal
Also the charging is slow compared to other ROMs
