Holster for Spigen Tough Armor case - Samsung Galaxy S7 Accessories

Over the years my phone choices have caused me to consider alternative case manufacturers, first switching (from Otterbox Defender) to Seidio Dilex, then to Incipio Dualpro. Since Incipio didn't offer a holster, I had to search elsewhere for that, ultimately settling on the Seidio Dilex holster for a Galaxy S5 to go with my Dualpro-clad 2014 Moto X.
With my recent Galaxy S7 purchase I faced a similar dilemma. For various reasons, I decided on the Spigen Tough Armor case, and began my search for a holster. I found that the holster from the Platinum case/holster for the Galaxy S6 is a perfect fit. For those who don't know, Platinum is the Best Buy house brand, which I believe is manufactured by Seidio, and is nearly identical to the Seidio Surface model. I'm pretty sure the actual Seidio Surface holster would fit just as well, and that many similar cases would fit well in either holster.
As a bonus, the Tough Armor case appears to be symmetric (top/bottom and left/right, except for the port cutouts), and the phone fits just as well in the holster upside down. I prefer this way because it means I dint have to flip the phone around in my hand while putting in into, and removing it from the holster.
TL;TR - Spigen Tough Armor Galaxy S7 case + Platinum Galaxy S6 holster = perfect!

Cases that work with Seidio Holster

I started this thread because I will be getting my note in a couple of weeks and I have been trying to read all of the reviews on the cases. I know I will be getting a Seidio holster and I was wondering what if any non-seidio cases would fit in the holster that seidio makes for the note. If you have a seidio holster and are using a non-seidio case, please list it and tell how well it fits, and how easy it is to get in and out of the holster.
Mine should be arriving in. The mail today or tomorrow. I will post up after I've fitted it. On a side note, when I had my atrix, the otterbox commuter case would fit perfectly in the seido active holster. I would think the same thing things should apply here.

FWIW I have tried the Otterbox Commuter in the Seidio Active holster and was unable to get it to fit.
I would agree. I have the case on the phone now, and it's a snug fit in the holster, so I would not expect another case to fit. That being said, the seido is very good quality and fits perfectly.

I recently saw that the external powerpack case comes in 2 flavors now. There is a 4200mah one and a 3000mah one. It would be great if one of these 2 would fit the holster. So if anybody knows please post it here.

Seidio SpringClip Holster with other case.

Love the Seidio Sprint clip holsters but don't really care for the surface case, not enough drop protection, or the Dilex case. Has anyone bought a different case for the Note 3 and used one of the Seidio Spring clip holsters?
Wondering if the Slim armor case or the Bounce by Spigen would fit one of the Seidio Spring holsters.
I've used the Diztronic and some other cheap tpu cases with the holster. They all worked well. I think the Bounce would work but I haven't tried it. I don't know anything about the slim armor.

Bounce came in the mail today, works fine with the Seidio Spring clip holster.

Any slim magnet free cases for Note 12.2?

I have a poetic case that I love but it's now removed after reading posts from people saying the magnets in the case have caused the digitizer in Samsung Note devices to malfunction. I cut open the case to remove the magnets and there are 15 magnets in this case. That's crazy.
Is there a slim case out there that doesn't have magnets?
Just picked up a Speck case and i don't think it has magnets. Pretty happy with it.
Picked up the official Samsung case for $26 on ebay. Happy with the form factor.

The samsung case has magnetic strip that runs down the middle of the back of the case used to "connect" the case for various standing positions.
The speck style folio from my understanding is one of the very few magnetic"less" style folio cases.
I bought a defender from otterbox, but for around the house I think I will get the speck case. :good:

Spigen Neo-Hybrid Case

I had a Spigen neo-hybrid case on my S5. I was happy with the quality and fit, so it was on my short-list when I shopped for a case for my S7. I had an otterbox commuter on my previous phone to the S5. They are well-made, but I don't like having a hard case on the back, because it's too slippery. I looked around at all the cases that were available in local stores and ended up ordering a neo-hybrid from amazon. I'm very happy with it. It looks even better than the S5 version. It fits very well. Definitely recommended, especially considering the great price. (I did not receive any discount or promotion for purchasing the case.)

I, too, like the Spigen Neo Hybrid, but not as much as the Otterbox Symmetry clear, Spigen Tough Armor, and Diztronic Voyeur.
The Neo Hybrid is well-made. I can put it on my S7 without first having to separate the bumper from the case, which I've found to be a problem with some cases of this design. The cut-outs for the charger, earphones, etc. are all good-sized and properly aligned. The back, however, is deceptively slippery (deceptively it has a somewhat pebbled texture), while I find the smooth bumper not slippery at all. The buttons work well, but for my taste they could be somewhat larger.
I should be receiving my Neo Hybrid tomorrow. Had a tough Armor on my S5, that was great, but made it a bit large for one handed operation for me.
Loving the neo hybrid. I have been using them since my S5 days. The only one I ever had an issue with was the metal one on the S6, which affected the gps reception so I went with a plastic one. Also used one on my G4.

Samsung tab S7 plus 5G case?

Anyways, so u read the title.
OtterBox case for this phone comes with built in screen protector, don't want.
UAG case has magnets that intercepts s pen.
I might be going with Verizon rugged $49 piece of rubber just so I can have little protection.
I'm so furious atm.
Verizon sent a s7 book cover when I asked for the 5g otterbox.
Then I contact them about the problem then they send out an a OtterBox but it's for the S7 plus not the S7 plus 5G.
they sent out a UAG case for this tablet and I finally found out that the magnets interfere with your s pen is.
This tablet been out for five months now, I am so aggravated I got to pay $49 for a piece of rubber that I don't even know if this thing's going to protect the tablet over cement "Verizon rugged case" I work in the garage and I need something like OtterBox but it comes with the built-in screen protector and if you remove the plastic screen protector out, your tablet is loose inside the case I seen and reviews.
Before I order anybody have any suggestions?
