Hello, i just got a honor 5x, non-rooted, bootloader locked, its running KIW-UL00C00B437, so its the chinesse version, i want to install lineage on it, reading the forums i found out that i need to downgrade the version to have a stock rom without Volte to avoid bootloops, but i cant find a method or the firmware to do it, this is my first huawei phone, so im a little lost, somebody can help me?

In official website of honor ,u can find non -volte firmware , download it ,extract it ,place the update.zip in home dictectory...der is a instructions guide in firmware zip ...follow it accordingly ...after that flash twrp using any recovery flashing app like flashify ....or use twrp official app ...then flash lineage os with gapps

I can only find firmware for other version I had tried many websites.

Which is the best TWRP to flash ? The official 3.0.2 or the modified Cofface 3.0.0
If i use the Cofface one , the latest do i still need to use the universal boot patcher ? ( i only intend to stick to xiaomi roms, mostly china or global dev or the xiaomi.eu roms)
I will then flash supersu to root
To update each rom OTA , i will need to unroot , flash OTA via updater app or via normal update received from OS , then flash supersu again?

I think best choice is cofface twrp in your situation
Nothing is needed when you flash miui based roms because you unlocked officially. Universal boot patcher is for people who unlocked unofficially

I downloaded few week ago the Cyanogenmod 14.1 (cm-14.1-20161225-NIGHTLY-kenzo) and I see that a linage version was release also (lineage-14.1-20170207-nightly-kenzo-signed.zip) So which one to choose ?
reassure me, both are coming without gapps ?

LOS. CM is "dead".
Neither come with Google apps so you'll need to flash them if you want them.
You don't need to flash firmware if you're coming from the latest MIUI. It doesn't harm anything if you do though.

Guys iam a newbie and I just want to learn few things...I have L22 b150 L5.1 variant..I am planning to root and flash custom roms...I have few queries before proceeding...Your help will be much appreciated...
1) can I able to directly flash to custom noughat or Oreo directly from L5.1
If not , just want to learn y not applicable...Bcz I flashed lineage 14.1 from KitKat in my moto e....

Frist update to b320 ...then flash latest recovery ....then flash which ever rom u want to flash....don't flash nougat rom ,if ur firmware is volte based ,or expect bootloops...

If u want to come back to stock in future ,take backup from recovery of ur stock firmware..
Thanks! I manually uodated to b320 . And took nandroid bkp using twrp..now in lineage 14.1 which is more consistent than emui...I have tweaked some kernel parameters too and it's faster..but one thing I found is whenever I use mobile data, loading apps getting delayed or lil laggy....idk it's whether bcz of n/w or phone hardware or some OS parameters...if you have any idea,pls suggest...Iam using Airtel lte

When u turn on wifi or mobile data......after a long time ....phone will freeze for some secs....I to experienced in all roms...it's not a big deal......

Ok got it...any ported camera apps available for lineage 14.1? I have installed Dolby atmos...I tried searching threads for camera apps but not able to identify any

Tried Flashing RR Oreo, Firehound, Lineage 14.1, Omni 7.1, facing bootloops with all of them.
Although It boots without any problems on Lineage 13.0.

So don't know what firmware your using, there is no such thing as N firmware for the device.
As MIUI never released Nougat rom for the device.
Edit: - A google search showed me out of date CM firmware.

I tried with 8.2.8 and 9.2.4 firmware from your link, but still no luck.
With Oreo rooms after it's done with boot animation, goes straight to TWRP.
Btw this is the N firmware I talked about.

Did you also use an Oreo Compatible TWRP, check your rom pages for which TWRP and Firmware required.
A flash of latest MIUI Original fastboot rom in EDL mode maybe required to get your device upto date.
Your firmware linked is definitely way out of date version. (12.04.2017).
Is your bootloader unlock officialy, if yes then flash the version with includes emmc_appsboot.mbn

Now I want miui dialer and messages app.I have heard that indian rom have those apps.
I want to ask if I can flash Indian rom (recovery rom) on my device using orangefox recovery?
Or i have to use fastboot rom only?

now you can install almost any ROM on your phone as long as it is in zip format. Indian is for recovery there is . unfortunately you did not write what kind of phone you have (since the theme is combined for several devices).
