Hello, I have a redmi note 4X, i tried a bunch of oreo ROMs (both 8.0 and 8.1) and they all seem to have issue connecting to hidden wifis.
Does anyone else notice this problem? Is there a fix to it?

This issue is in all the roms, hopefully the devs are working on it. It has already been pointed out by a lot of members

Actually it's working on cardinal os 8.1 stock kernel

Hi everyone,
same issue, it doesn't work for me either.
When i run security -> encrypt phone i can see the Android logo for a few seconds, then the phone reboots.
My curent device is Redmi Note 3 Pro (Kenzo)
Build i 13.0-20160910-NIGHTLY-kenzo
Would be great to have a solution or work around.

I had same problem but on developer firmware encryption is working properly

I can't connect to the internet either :/ But i think mine is a driver not supported issue
P.s. I know this is unrelated but is there ever going to be a higher release than marshmallow? When is the latest Android 8 Oreo going to be supported? (Even in beta's/canary builds which I also can't find to see if that fixes my internet problem - can't update)

i don't know about remix os development, i heard that it has been stopped.... you may want to try phoenix os instead the lastest version has android 7.0 support.
I make a little search i the redmi note 3 forums and I find this, and if this not related, can you try explain why there is a problem ?

There is no fix for now on goodix but developers are working hard to fix it. They recently fixed VoLTE and now they are working on goodix so wait for some days
Sorry mate, that fix was for nougat. We need sources for Oreo now

I upgraded from miui MM to Oreo, everything working fine
But there's 1 thing bothered me :crying: each time I change Oreo to Oreo ROM, the problem is I can't upload photo to Facebook via browser, tried 5 different browser nothing changes, tried 5 other ROM is the same,
Is there anyone faced problem like me?

Using facebook app, working fine. This source still construction, be patient and use existing ones.

I'm using Xiaomi Mi 4 and encounter the same problem. You can try again with Samsung Internet Browser :good:
I've installed many Ten roms(Havoc, Lineage Test and port, pixel experience, etc) but all of those are having mic problems. At the start everything just works fine but after a days, hours or weeks it starts failling, sometimes it doesn't work and when it works present a terrible recorded audio quality, I don't use any kind of audio mod. Please help me, im start thinking that I'm the only one who is happening for this cuz I'm been asking this on many roms's thread without answer nor solutions

Hi, my phones mic also not working. And it was suddenly. Now I saw your words and remember about my mics problem was suddenly. Maybe it was how you describe.. Do you flash miui 9 rom back ? and it works on miui 9 roms ? Please reply.

Mic work fine on any other Android version(stock or custom), it fails just on Android 10 Roms.

My device is a Xiaomi redmi 5 (Rosy). I'm using Pixel Experience Q. and I can confirm you that Los 16 works fine
