Amazfit watch App "your device isn't compatible with this version" - Amazfit

I just got the Amazfit Pace watch. I wanted to download Amazfit watch App but Google Play store shows that my device isn't compatible with the version of the App. So it is impossible to download this application.
I have Xiaomi Mi9. And I live in France.
Could you please help me solve this problem?
android version: 9 PKQ1.181121.001
Regards

Just download the apk yourself from apkmirror or something like that.

it worked
thank you

I have a same problem with mi9t. Downloaded the app from web, but I notifications on watch doesnt work any more.

hi quys I bought today amazfit gtr smartwatch and google play writes me the same "your device isn´t compatible with this version", and I can´t use watch without this amazfit app because on the screen on watches is only qrcode for downloading application which I can´t download. Please help me if you can

I have the same problem...just bought a Huawei P30 and i cant download the amazfit watch app for stratos2 the google play says that my device is not compatible...Any Help please???

Trying to use Amazfit Verge with a Note 8 (United States) and I cannot download the app via PlayStore. I've tried sideloading 3.4 and that wouldn't open, also tried 3.2 which opens but won't pair...

I found a solution. Use google translate and download and install app from chinese miui site:
http://app.mi.com/details?id=com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager
Everything works again for me

Just install the Mi Fit app?

Why the hell is this app "incompatible"?
I cant download the app from playstore for both Xiaomi Mi Pie 9 Phone and Samsung Galaxy Lollipop 5.1 phone. Both are grayed out. I thought there is an error on my site.
But from reddit discussion I found out that the app was kicked from Play store, so it is now globally not available in the western world. Privacy issuses? What is amazfit doing?

Amazfit is aware of the issue. They're fixing it on their servers. Meanwhile download the apk yourself.

Just have an update 3.4.2 and activity workout back to normal.

Is it possible to use google play apps with a chinese 360 II watch?

hi all:
I bought a moto 360 2015 watch in China, where google apps are blocked. So Lenovo offers a localized version which replaces Google play android wear app with their own localized version, however, there are very few apps in that market(http://www.lenovomm.com/).
I tried to download the original android wear and found that I can download apps from google play, but still there is one problem: the chinese version watch replay google now with a Chinese voice command app called Chumenwenwen. I found that if I use the original android wear to pair with the watch, my voice could not be recognized because Chumenwenwen did not make a connection with the android wear app.
So the problem here is that if I use the localized android wear app, then I can not use apps from google play, but if I use the original app, I can not use the voice command app. Is there a workaround?
Unlock the bootloader and Root it, then using ADB install Google Now and any other thing necessary for the watch to communicate with the phone
hi, i wanna ask if you can connect your watch and use it with the original android wear app?

I got the Chinese version as well. Since the Chinese version rom recognize Google apps and refuse to sync. I think the only way to use Google Apps is to flash the international rom. But atm I don't think I can.

Asking them is useless to be honest they wouldn't know. They would tell you to consult with their repair center for further instructions. So i wouldn't take their word. We will be able to install Google services but it will take some time.
Is there an update on this matter?
My ROG phone (CN import) is about to arrive, and not being able to install Google Play Services etc. on it would be a big issue for me. With all my previous chinese phones (Huawei, Smartisan, Vivo NEX, etc) I have been able to somehow work around it through APK's or flashing, but this doesn't seem to work with this ASUS phone, correct?
Can anyone confirm what has been tried and failed?
Thanks a lot in advance for your support and input.

Every Google installer 2 & 3 (chinese & english version) have been tried. Also installing all the required Google apks individually has also been tried, none of them work. A representative from Asus has confirmed that the current software version doesn't support Google services and we will have to wait for the next update which will support Google services as promised. Check my previous post with the links to Asus ROG phone forum there you will find the Asus representative feedback.

Hi all,
Did anyone make any progress on this?
On my end I'm contsantly checking and posting on the official ASUS Zenforums (China), but no luck so far.
I'm getting quite desperate, as this 1000$+ phone is currently rather useless to me.

Patience is a virtue!. I suspect we will be getting Google services working properly with the next major update(Android Pie 9.0). Personally I have migrated from using Google apps and found alternatives.
You could use Nox on your PC, add your Google account to the VM, install your app, extract the apk, copy to your phone, then install the app there.

Mmh, sorry for asking redundant questions, but how would this work?
It seems the issue is that the CN ROG phone doesn't support Google Framework, no APK's have worked so far. Other, none-GF apps run fine.
Would your method somehow cirumvent this issue, and would I be able to install Google Play and its related services on this phone?
Thanks a lot for your time and support.
This would make it so you could just side load the apps.

Actually Google maps(without account login) & translate work fine without Google framework I have them installed on my device.
If you need all Google apps to work on your device there is a way for that but they wouldn't be working directly instead through an Emulator installed on the device. PM me if you need the instructions.
Otherwise if you need a good Google playstore replacement I would recommend "yalp store" & "aptoide" or apk mirror website.

To be honest, if you want to use Google Apps, dont get a CN device. You will save yourself from wasting time, and severe headaches. The model in HKG will support Google Apps out of the box. I am getting mine this weekend. I got a Huawei Tablet from CN, and never again will I get a CN device of any sort.

Amazfit Verge 2(Nexo)Watchface request

Hello all, I've got the amazfit Verge 2 for over a month now, really great watch, but it's got limited Watchfaces, The Amazfit GTR which was released after it has more Watchfaces. I want to know if it's possible to make custom watch faces for it ?
Thanks
WearOS 1.5 and 2.0 watchfaces work with it surprisingly (I bit my tongue as I said it would not run WearOS apps when it was released, but it seems it is not pure Android 8.1 but some mix between it and WearOS). The main problem is that they are gone after the watch is rebooted. Actually, the watch UI/UX is a mess of bugs right now...

Yeah. The watch UI is really buggy, it's literally Android 8.1 with a launcher built on it.
Anyways I would try to install some Wear OS watches and see if I could make them persist after reboot

How did you install wearOS watchfaces in Verge2 ? I tried but didn't have success.
i wanna know too, i have a chinese version of Amazfit Verge 2(nexo)
And this smart watch is not as complete as I expected.
I thought it was easy to have watchfaces, that you could use spotify on it, but none of this is happening.
The smartwatch nor multimedia has, to control music from the phone.
I'm disappointed...
They are updating the watch and added the ability to answer calls via bluetooth ... Gradually they are improving, I hope I can have more options for watchfaces

My Nexo is stuck in 1.2.1.0 ROM. It says that there is 1.2.4.2 ROM available but when I use the watch update menu it searches for available ROM but says "It is already in the latest version". I did a factory reset. Nothing happened.
I tried updating via the Amazfit app (the popup that says to do the update but it returns to the watch and the same message appears: "It is already in the latest version".
Is there a way to update it?

Amazfit Bip S

Hi there,
It is almost impossible to find some stuff about Bip S. I have just bought one a week ago and trying to make it more useful. First of all, it is said that the watch comes with 10 different activity options. I just got 6. Later I found out that there is this OTA update which I didn't get it. Because my watch is updated to the latest version and still got 6 options. If anyone knows about it please let me know.
I 've got some other issues I would like to mention all. The second issue is the lack of watch faces and inability of using creators because I guess there is no one for Bip S yet. One that exists for Bip gives an error for most of the work.
Finally, I was trying to use amaztool which is a good app. I didn't get ''the custom trigger'' section though. Anyone knows how to use this and what is this ''url'' part about in it?
Thanks in advance for the responses.
Waiting for OTA update also.

Hi all,
I have got an Amazfit Bip S, and I would like to connect it to Gadgetbridge. However, it does not work because I cannot find a working authentification key. I tried sqlite3 and the modded Amazfit app from freeyourgadget.com. I am grateful for any suggestions. Here is what I have tried so far:
I tried the sqlite3-method with a rooted phone running Android 7. I followed the procedure as described in the Huami-Server-Paring description on github. However, it seems the phone has no sqlite3-package, and I could not push one to /system/xbin because I had no writing permission. I copied the origin_db_* to /sdcard/ and pushed the sqlite3-package from my laptop to the same directory. It did not work either, sqlite3 gave me back it could not find a line with DEVICE.
The modded Amazfit-app produced a file, which read [MAC-address];[32-character alphanumeric sequence]. I tried the 32-character alphanumeric sequence as authentification key in the Gadgetbridge-app, but it did not work. For all I know, the authentification key should have 16 characters.
I am grateful for any suggestions!
Taken from the gadgetbridge guide did you do this when entering your key:
IMPORTANT: Enter your key prefixed with 0x ( eg. if your key is fedcba01234567890fedcba012345678 enter 0xfedcba01234567890fedcba012345678)

I only know the official Amazfit app and the Gadgetbridge app (apart from watch face apps). The Gadgetbridge app is for those who are sensitive about their personal data. The official Amazfit app has some functionality advantages.
For instance, the Gadgetbridge cannot share the phone's GPS signal with the watch — other than the Amazfit app. That is a bit of a problem because it takes the watch a few minutes to find the GPS signals after you started the sports tracker. Distance and speed measuring only starts after the watch has found the signals; time count, however, starts before. That distorts average speed.
Also, retrieving the watch key for the Gadgetbridge app is a bit tricky.

First of all you need to register an account through oppo website as doing it in the coloros app requires you to have a China mobile number.
Once the account is made download the coloros app using the QR code from the watch.
In the app login using the account you made.
From my experience the coloros which is available in the app store could not connect to the watch. It required the specific coloros app from the QR code given by the watch during setup.

With the Chinese version there is no way it can connect to WearOS. You will basically use ColorOS especifically the one that it asks you to download after using the QR code given by the watch.

There is the Chinese version of the watch and there is this global version. The Chinese version uses ColorOS while the global version uses WearOS. It is a bit tricky to setup the Chinese version of the watch as some of the instructions are in Chinese and the QR code takes you to a site different from Playstore to get the ColorOS. However the global version is a lot easier to connect as its using the WearOS available in playstore.

And you have to register and create an account first using your email address at Oppo's website before continuing with the setup. Once an account is created use the email address as the login information instead of a mobile number as you will need a chinese mobile number to continue.

Hi,
I Also bought a Chinese Oppo Watch (unfortunately). I have a Oppo phone (Model CPH1877) and connected the watch by downloading the "Health app"' using the QR code on the watch. Some apps on the watch are Chines some are in English (I have put the language on the watch on English).
Notifications from the phone to the watch are working perfectly but the Chinese app store is limited. I also mis a payment method on the watch. Only for Chinese banks.
Would love to flasch the international ROM on the watch but don't now how to do that and I can't find an international ROM for the watch.
Anyone ideas???

I also apparently got the Chinese version of the Oppo Watch (46mm) from Bludiode.com in England. I thought I was getting the international version. I have tried to connect it to Wear OS using my Samsung Note 20 Ultra, but it connects and gets about 1/8th of the way through "getting watch information"....then stops.
How did you get your watch to run Color OS? I have tried to use the Health App it wants me to download, use my e-mail address...then it wants a phone number? I've tried suing my USA number, but that doesn't work. I've read other posts where people say that you need an international number for that to work? How did you get past that step?
Any help would be appreciated as I'm sitting here with a $300 paperweight right now. Would love to connect it to something and have it work....at all.

Still looking for a solution. I may end up returning the watch to the seller as I had no idea this watch was the Chinese version and not the international one!

Hi skersh,
I have an Oppo phone as well. So I registered an Oppo account when I got the phone. Since you don't have an Oppo phone I quess you need to register an Oppo account with a Chinese phonenumber. When the watch is connected to your phone via the Chinese health app (Hey Tap Health for Wear OS) the watch works perfect.
Good luck.

Thanks for your reply! I really appreciate it. Any ideas on how I can get a "chinese phone number" just to make this watch work? Or, would purchasing a cheap Oppo phone, then registering that phone and getting and Oppo account make the watch work that way?
Just trying to weigh my options here.
I did contact the seller in England and told them that they sold me the "Chinese version" and not the "Global or International Version" and have asked for an exchange or refund. No word back from them yet.

Hi Steve,
I would try to find a Chinese phonenumber. Perhaps Google can help? If you buy a cheap Oppo phone, the watch will be connected with that phone and not woth your Samsung Note. Can you register an Oppo acoount with Oppo in England?
I have found this video on YT. Maybe it helps?
Cheers,
Laurens

Laurens,
Thank you and thanks for the video link! I'll purchase an Oppo Phone to connect to the watch. I'm glad that you also told me that it won't connect with my Samsung Note, that answered another question I was going to pose. Perhaps, I'll at least be able to connect and use the watch with the Oppo phone and in the meantime, hope that a bootloader is unlocked later on and allows Wear OS to be flashed to it sometime soon!
Appreciate the help! Thanks again!
Steve

SUCCESS!
Laurens,
Thank you VERY much for that video! After watching it, I used my phone number (USA) instead of trying to use an e-mail address to set up and account.
IT WORKED!
I was able to connect to my Oppo Watch using my Samsung Note 20 Ultra, after downloading the Health app (from scanning the QR Code on my Oppo Watch) I got it synced up and it's working fine! I did have to use a second phone using Google Translate to deciper some of the setup screens, but I'm getting notifications, I've picked a watch face and everything seems to be working just fine!
I really appreciate your help and for now, will use my Note 20 Ultra with the Oppo Watch.
Take care and have a great rest of your weekend!

Hi,
Glad you.managed to get the watch working with your S20. I am.also considering getting the oppo watch Chinese version and I currently use a Samsung note 10 plus.
What I wanted to ask you is that when the oppo watch is tracking your fitness (steps, workouts) via the health app in coloros, does it also show up on the Samsung health app on your S20?
I currently have the Samsung galaxy watch and naturally it's all in sync with the phone health app but I hate the watch and would love to get the oppo watch in stainless steel!
Would appreciate any info thanks
