i have tried all method

nothing working at any cost help me asap

Did you check Event viewer for error messages?

all done but still not able to fix

Driver error, uninstall and try again.

install the Samsung USB drivers and it should let you see/open your phone in windows.
My Pixel6 wouldnt be seen then I installed these and it worked

You can download the wushowhide.diagcab utility from the Microsoft Download Center
Run the wushowhide.diagcab tool and select the option “Hide Updates“;
In the list of the available Windows updates and drivers, check the drivers for which you want to disable the auto-update and click the Next button.
After that, the selected drivers will not be automatically updated by Windows.

Unfortunately for you it is hardware issue. So port damaged or connector. Drivers install, uninstall will not help you. Need to vring it to service centre.

Hi all,
I have an Aria running CM 7.2
I have a PC with Win XP SP3 where I am not able to connect my Aria because of lack of drivers.
I don't want to download and install HTC sync (pay-per-use plan).
Is there a standalone driver pack for Aria which I can use for:
ADB: VID_0BB4&PID_0C92&MI_01
Android Phone: VID_0BB4&PID_0C92&MI_00
Also there are other hardware IDs which I don't have right now, like fastboot etc.
I searched the internet and could not find any helpful drivers.
Can anyone help regarding this?

I tested my Aria with an old PC and it worked. Try installing the latest version of HTC Sync: http://dl3.htc.com/application/sync/htc_sync_3.0.5617_us.exe.
Can you explain how you are attempting to connect the phone? Are you just trying to use the RUU? Are you trying to use adb?
The drivers I linked to should allow you to do both.
Here's what I did.
I tried to connect the phone (normal working condition running CM7) without any drivers installed.
The missing hardware IDs were the ones in the first post.
Then I tried to install the drivers from the link.
The installer did not work, some trouble with the MSI Package.
I went to temp folder and ran the MSI package by itself. This time it ran.
Then when I tried to connect the phone (running, with ADB on), it detected drivers like Android Phone, USB Composite Device, ADB.
But got stuck when Mass Storage was to be installed. Threw a 'new hardware found' window at me.
I disconnected and connected without ADB this time.
This time it got stuck on Android Phone.
Can you verify the file's MD5 sum? It should be:
HTCDriver3.0.0.007.exe
f60771a86c4ad69c8c9c1d158e60e850
I'm not sure what else could be the issue unless some old drivers are interfering or something.

Well the MD5 is all good. Probably the machine is messed up.
Other USB devices do work though, without a problem.
Anyway, this is only a spare machine. Just was wondering why it would not work here. I might try installing HTC Sync later, but I highly doubt it will work.

i wanted to start android development on a real, but not too expensive device.

It works fine and i wanted to connect it to my PC, running windows 7.
The problem is: I could not find any usb driver on the (chinese) manufactorer site.
In the device manager the device was listed as "K8GT_W" and marked with "no driver installed".
Can someone please tell me, if there is a driver for this device or how to use some "generic" usb device driver with this device?
I downloaded the google USB driver with the android SDK manager.
The i selected "update driver" from the device maanger + selected the google usb driver download directory.
This shows the message "K8GT_W could not be installed".

N9 isn't recognized by Windows 7 pc

Hi, I'm new to the N9, have had the tablet about a week. I have tried connecting it to my windows 7 Pc and the N9 isn't recognized. I have tried all the basics, all drivers are current, set tablet to mtp, and not found. I have connected to a friend's Windows 10 PC and the N9 is found immediately. My N9 is a wifi only device, non rooted. I have 2 other Android devices that my W7 PC finds with no issue. Anyone else experience this, and or have any suggestions on how to fix this issue ? Not looking to root at this point. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated
I think there are many threads about this problem. Nexus Root Toolkit has a driver installation feature.
If you were starting from scratch I'd delete any unknown "tablet/usb" devices in Device Manager - look for the also delete drivers option.

On this page http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html is a link to download a zip file of the drivers (not the full SDK package) Click here to download the latest Google USB Driver ZIP file.

In some cases, you need to enable ADB on your N9 before plugging it into your PC (Settings -> Developer Options -> Android Debugging).

Thank you for your help, I had already tried all of this, but tried once more in case a step was missed. Every other Android device I have, or had never gave me an issue like this. The 2 android phones I have connect to pc without a problem, I am at a loss, lol.
When deleting drivers, should I have deleted all drivers for all devices, or just the ones installed from N9 ? Thanks again for your help

A basic one. I don't think it's relevant until you have a connection. Do you know that the N9 USB connection defaults to "charging only" and you need to pull down the notification menu to enable MTP to see the device contents

There is a "connected" y/n column. I'm not certain that this works as expected, I can connect a tablet and despite an F5 refresh or a restart of the program it will stay a "No"
Look at the VendorId column AFAIK everything Google Nexus related has an ID of "18D1"
Have tried to establish what, if anything pops up in Device Manager when you plug in the N9 so you can disable it? Nirsoft have a program http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/device_manager_view.html that gives a table view of all devices - no clicking to expand trees

Thank you for your help I greatly appreciated it. After trying pretty much everything, I decided to see if the ruu's for my two phones would run on W10. They did, so I then proceeded to update my W7 to W10. N9 communicates perfectly now with my PC. Thank you

Unknown USB Device (Android Device)

I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I am having with Windows 11.
I have an old Samsung Galaxy Tablet (2013), the MicroUSB port had to be replaced as the port had broken. Before the repair, the tablet could connect to my Windows 11 PC with no problem, it showed up in Device Manager and File Explorer fine. After the repair, the Tablet will no longer connect and shows up as an "Unknown USB Device".
All methods I have tried, including installing new Drivers, have failed.
If anyone can help, I will really appreciate it!
Who did the repair? It seems whomever did the repair either didn't use the correct parts or installed them improperly.
A friend of mine did the repair. They are quite good at soldering, I will ask them to have another look at the port.
I know the correct part was used as we got the Port from another tablet of the same model.
Check for hardware issues
There’s a possibility that you’re unable to use your USB device due to a hardware issue, meaning that the problem lies within your computer and not the operating system. Here are two easy ways to test if this is the case, which can easily prove whether you need to look into getting your computer restored or can proceed with the methods below to fix system-originated issues.
Plug out your power supply
For some reason, temporarily unplugging your power supply and then connecting the problematic equipment into your computer may fix the Unknown USB device issue on Windows 10. Simply disconnect all charging cables from your laptop until your computer is only running on its integral battery. Then, plug in the USB device to see if your system recognizes it.
Uninstall the USB Driver in Device Manager
Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard at the same time to bring up the Run utility.
Type in “devmgmt.msc” without the quotations marks, then hit the OK button. This is going to launch the Device Manager in a separate window.
Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers section, then select the Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) from the list.
Right-click on the selected USB device and choose Uninstall from the context menu. Follow any on-screen instructions to remove the device.
When the uninstallation is complete, reboot your system. It’ll automatically reinstall the drive correctly, which may help you get rid of the error you’ve been receiving.

[CLOSED] usb not recognized problem

Hello, I'm facing this problem from many years in my phone, i can't plug in my mate 10 to any pc, it always says usb not recognized,
all drivers installed correcly with hisuite , my cable usb is new,
i changed today the USB charging port of the phone at Huawei care service, and i reset factory the phone , still same problem.
I'm still having the same stock rom on the device,
is the "usb not recognized" problem can be a software problem in the phone? thank you for your experience.

I'll try to help you but I'm not an expert, and yet I've had EVERY problem you seem to be speaking about.
a. I have had broken USB ports
b. I have had broken USB cables
c. I have had the USB drivers not install on Windows
etc.
Given I've had some of the same problems, I feel for you, so my first advice is to simply give up on USB for everything that you can.
Specifically, if you can turn on USB debugging and Wireless debugging in the Developer options, you can operate the phone over Wi-Fi using the Windows monitor, keyboard and mouse as shown in my screenshots below.
You don't need anything installed on Android to use these FOSS solutions on Windows to operate the entire phone over Wi-Fi as of Android 12 (which eliminated the need for an initial USB connection to establish the Wi-Fi connection).
In summary, I have had similar problems with USB where I've given up on USB and switched to operating Android over Wi-Fi and even mounting the entire Android file system as a Windows drive letter over Wi-Fi using free software.

d. webdav
Use Windows Event Viewer to check for error messages on the PC.
If the problem is the PC it will likely show up there and give you more troubleshooting clues.
