I made this really simple app that makes copying text to your Android device from your PC (or the other way around) quite simple.
You don't need to sign-up or provide any personal details to use it. It works over any network too. Your device generates a unique code on the first run, which you enter into the PC App - and your devices are synced. You can then copy text to your device, or paste text from your device, using the copy and paste global hot-keys.
You'll need the PC App and the Android App. You can get the PC App here, and the Android app is on the Play store
I think it is a good alternative to Push Bullet for the following reasons:
You don't have to open any apps or click any buttons to push to your device or paste from it. You just select the text and press the appropriate global hotkey.
Push Bullet has universal copy paste functionality, but that's for everything that is copied. Alt-C allows you to be selective about what is copied/pasted.
You don't need to register an account to use the service. You just need to perform the initial syncing process once.
Any feedback would be appreciated!

AirDrop on Android

Hello dear XDA Community,
I am currently trying to create a kind of website where you can upload files to my phones local storage.
To do so, I would just make the person that wants to share a file with me log into my phones wifi tethering.
Then they should be able to type some specific address into their searchbar to get to a form where they can upload files straight to my internal storage.
What I´ve tried so far:
I first tested everything on Windows with Apache and xampp.
After that I downloaded an App called Server for PHP.
When I start the server, everything works so far and I can execute my upload php files using chrome and upload files from my storage to a before specified folder.
So I thought that I could just use my secondary phone to connect to the wifi hotspot and type in the address (0.0.0.0:8080), but it can`t load the page.
Have any of you tried something similar before and do you know a way to get it to work?
I will also upload some screenshots and the php files later.
Thanks for your help already!!!

Managing files efficiently - is this possible in 2020?

I don't use smartphones very often, so could you guys please recommend a suitable setup for efficient file management?

Yeah I was going to give TotalCommander a try after seeing one video on file managers. Does it feature a right-click menu with cut/paste and can you highlight multiple files using the mouse instead of check boxes?
Anything similar available with native file managers in EMUI desktop, Samsung Dex or Android 11 Desktop modes?
My go-to that I keep coming back to is X-plore. It does what you are asking for, has a decent UI and options to use it with SMB, FTP, cloud storage and a built-in WiFi file server. Always gets the job done too.

The Google USB Driver ( part of platform tools ) is required to run ADB on Windows computers with Google devices. Windows drivers for all other devices are provided by the respective hardware manufacturer.
Get the Google USB Driver | Android Studio | Android Developers
The Google USB Driver is required to perform adb debugging on Windows with Google devices.

Recommendation: You unpack the ZIP to C:\ADB and add this path to Windows PATH environment variable.
