Question Regarding S23 Ultra model codes - Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Hello, I was looking for some S23 Ultra at Amazon (Mexico) and I found a couple of models with good prices, but I want to make sure everything I can about the model number those have, which are:
SM-918ULGFXAA (Blue Sky and Lime colors)
SM-S918BZEVLTM (black, pink, and other colors)
Both are 512GB of memory. I'm trying to find an official list with all the models to see which is which and why they have such different prices (the VLTM is like 300USD less than the GFXAA, but besides the colors, there seems to be no difference). Neither of both are repurposed, they claim both are original and sealed from fabric.
Nether to say similar models are like$500 USD above the Amazon price in the Samsung store (physical store)
Any tip regarding where to look for model descriptions will be appreciated. Thanks and have a great day!

If it helps... I have the At&t S23 Ultra 512Gb and the model number says SM-S918U ZGFAT

You're asking about dollars...so you're in USA. If so...go for the S918U version. You can't root it...but it is better compatible with the USA networks . S918B is mostly for Europe and the east.

[Q] Where in Europe can I buy Samsung Galaxy SII with NFC

I wanted to buy a Samsung Galaxy S II. The webshop where I would buy it, has a pre-order price of 549€: http://www.smartphoneshop.be/product/123781/samsung-galaxy-s-ii.html
However that model is without NFC chip, so I cancelled my order. They also told me that Samsung will not release an Galaxy S II with NFC for the Belgian market.
So my only remaining option is to buy one abroad. I'm not asking for generic web shops, I ask for very specific experiences with web shops that are able to deliver to Belgium.
I have also found out that there are different variations of the Galaxy S II. As far as I know, these are the main differences:
processor: Nvidia Tegra or Exynos --> for now, it's equal to me.
display: AMOLED or LCD --> I prefer one with AMOLED
NFC or not --> I really want one with NFC.
I already know that the UK is out of the question (for now), because the UK models don't have NFC. I read somewhere that models with NFC may come available for the UK in the coming months, no date confirmed yet. Maybe in June? If that is true then I can wait another month, no problem.
How about other neighboring countries? Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy,...
Of course this would have to be a phone that is not locked to one telco.
I have not found the answers of these very specific questions in the FAQ. Why am I asking this on XDA-Developers? Because I want to dive into Android development, and I have some ideas that include NFC technology. And why a Galaxy S II? I was in Barcelona at the MWC when Samsung launched it, I got to play with it, and I was really impressed.
So far .

Thanks. I overlooked those, and I guess my initial search was a bit too generic.

Galaxy S II Ebay Shopping Advice?

Hey there,
I am currently considering buying a Galaxy S II off eBay here in Australia and i was wondering what I should and shouldn't be looking for.
My main concern is that if I get Hong Kong/International stock then it may have differences (OS or Hardware) to the ones you can buy locally. Is there a way I could check to see where the handsets come from based on a model number or anything? and is anyone using an eBay bought SII to list the differences to local stock?
Thanks in advance,
DarkRyoushii
I bought mine off ebay ages ago, was listed as Australian stock...so if you are worried about overseas models just use the advanced search and choose only located in AU...then if it is not stated in the description just ask the seller if its aussie stock...though in most cases ones from overseas work just fine and I don't believe there are any differences (both local and overseas stock are international versions, besides the I9100T for telstra)

Thanks, there's a massive price difference between Australian ($700) and Unmentioned ($550) stock though so if possible I'd just love to make sure it won't turn up in some unheard of language with no way to change it, the wrong bands, restrictions (I know NTT Docomo limit text messages to 160 characters) on the OS or something like that.
so the I9100 stock is all the same with no variations? I thought there were different letters at the end to signify which region they were made for..
Thanks again,
DarkRyoushii
hmm well I got mine for $600...I'm pretty certain they are the international version...as long as it states I9100 and nothing else, it should be fine...also some sellers (eBay shops usually), provide 1 year warranties as well..
EDIT: there is an Australian stock on eBay now for 600 + 15 postage...if you're really that worried I'd recommend you just save yourself the worrying... I'm sure you could message the seller and negotiate for free shipping or something...

That's true Thanks for your help! +1 Thanks to you!
Your biggest concern with ebay is getting scammed, rather than getting a weirdo off-spec unit. As others say make sure it says I9100, and specs make sense (eg. 1.2 dual exynos, 4.3" screen, etc.) If you ended up with a qualcomm unit by accident (and wanted exynos...or vice versa) and your seller is legit they would have to accept return for product not as advertised.

Xperia Tablet Unit Sales

In a press release by Sony they mentioned that they had sold 100,000 tablets.
Is it me, or is that a very poor figure?
If not enough people are buying it, Is it likely that they won't rush updates?
100.000 is't much but the problem with numbers is that most of the time it's unclear which kinds they are.
example are they shipped number total worldwide?
are they number sold worldwide or only a specific region like japan,us or eu?
maybe pre fixt model or including latest version?
or are they the the black friday sales number?
100.000 woldwide total to date seems very hard to believe.
to be honest the tablet holds it's own because of features that are not found on any model like the memcard slot and so on.
which is a very useful feature for photographers and sony sells a lot of cameras and those guys like sony and the full size memcard slot.

S6 Edge 64GB in the US

Hi Guys
I really want s6 edge black or green 64gb but UK prices are really high.
My friend is going to the US NYC next week, can he just pop into t-mobile or sprint store and pick one up? No contract just the phone?
There are few websites that offer unlocking so not a big issue.
Also I should be able to flash the WWE stock rom when it becomes available?
Thanks
You can get it from Hong Kong stores
it's about $950 for the S6 Edge 64GB ( G925F ), but it's out of stock right now of all Hong Kong stores
but you will find the Flat 64GB ( G920F ) for $840
I know it's still expensive for G92XF models, but this the market price, and it's impossible to find cheaper than that, especially 64GB & 128GB
t-mobile store website shows $859.83 full retail price for 64gb black. Plus I wont have to pay import tax

Question Confused on Galaxy S23 ultra release date and the quality of grey market phones

In Bangladesh, Galaxy S23 series is yet to be released for customer; don’t know in which country it is released. However, the phones are available in open/grey market (made in Vietnam). I’m confused how the phone is available? Is there any chance that the phones are defective and hence they are selling in comparatively low price.
I ordered mine last week.
Was supposed to come on feb 17th but I've got it on Friday.
Already selling it in some stores in Germany
i got mine 2 days after official presentation on 3th of february, it was available in mobile operators stores. Also see that other peoples get there devices too on early stages, but now almost every time they are out of stock. Probably on the beginning they are already manufactured some quantity of devices foreach markets that are completely original (made in Vietnam) i also check IMEIs and firmware versions, all looks legit. And don't forget the fact that they come with a full warranty as any other brand new device, so if there are some defects/problems it can be just replaced.

by IMEI check and also model code / firmware code. But for to be ensure just buy it from some certificated shop or distributor..
In countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, grey market one is real deal as they are imported from countries where it is cheaper to get and import. However, claiming warranty for defective item is difficult.
Moreover, IMEI checks are other genuine things should be checked to ensure its a legitimate phone.
One issue you can have is that some of the grey market people have access to tools that will allow them to pretty much put anything they want in the system files. They can change the model names, numbers, IMEI and all that. The nice thing is, the IMEI is going to be the one true way to tell if it's legit. If they steal IMEI's and put them on multiple devices, it will get blacklisted pretty quick.
So is this story about false S23U from Vietnam true? Or not?
Phones are made in Vietnam for quite a number of years now (have a S7Edge made there) so the manufacturing country is not an indication of the phone being a "fake".
Bought mine from Samsung (pre-order) and is made in Vietnam.
