Country ID error when trying to upgrade to 1.60.Please help! - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 ROM Development

Hi everyone,
I just got my O2 XDA 2 today in Australia. It seems the unit is US version. I managed to upgrade the ROM to 1.60 but I got the error "Country ID error". I tried to search on several forum for this issue but I couldn't find any solution.
I'm just wondering whether anyone here has successfully upgraded the unit after getting this error or at least didn't get the error with the US version. I'd really appreciated your help. Thanks a lot in advance

Post unlock problem

Hi all. Hoping you can help. I have upgraded my Rom to the latest UK o2 version, and succesfully unlocked it using the software from this forum. This wnet very well by the way. However since then i am unable to start MMS composer. All that happens is i get the program name flash up for a second or so, then nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? Im wondering if its the updated ROM or the unlock thats caused it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Downgrading

I am trying to downgade my XDA 2 (T-Mobile -MDA II) unit back to my earlier rom. I believe it was version 1.6 or 1.66. Not certain. I know its UK based. I was able to update through downloading the UK 1.72 rom with no problems. Yet, now my wireless card is not working. Its not picking up any signals. Its a Socket 802.11b. It used to work with the earlier ROM. I tried downloading the corresponding ROM of the XDA Ftp site yet it kept telling me invalid country code. I then download the Himalaya no ID yet that item is not working. Can someone please help me. I really would like to narrow down whats causing this error, is it the card itself or the upgrade. Any reply would be most appreciated. :?:

[Q] HD2 ROM upgrade problem

Hi all
I have a T-Mobile HD2 which I managed to unlock to my O2 SIM thanks to the help available here, for which many many thanks.
I recently attempted to upgrade the ROM as I was having various issues with texts being transmitted and not being received and a couple of other annoying traits which I can't recall but contributed to my general misery. I installed the 1.72.110.4 upgrade from HTC's website but then realised that this was T-Mobiles
and that no I could no longer set up the phone for internet access using my O2 roaming bolt on. When I tried to install the latest ROM upgrade for O2 - 1.72.206.3 - I got an error message telling me it wasn't a valid file.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can restore my O2 settings or bully the 206.3 ROM to take on my phone?
Very many thanks.

You can use HSPL which will allow you to install any rom on your phone.

[Q] [XT910K] OTA Update not working anymore, stuck on 2.3.5

Hi all,
I recently purchased a new XT910K , the seller had listed it as XT910 so I didn't know that I was receiving the Korean version. Well the phone arrived, and turns out it's a really obscure variant since there is hardly any info. about it on the web. The OTA update doesn't work anymore, and I have no idea how I can update my phone. Can anyone having the same phone please help? Most of the links pertaining to the necessary files are dead. I tried searching for the solution everywhere but came up with nothing, so this is kinda like my last resort. Anyways thanks for reading, any suggestions or ideas are welcome!
