I just called three Sprint stores and they are def not taking pre orders yet. So how in the world did you pre order yours. And where did you find out about Sprint taking them because nowhere have I been able to find anything. Can you post a source or are you full of ****??? Not hating just asking
yeah I just got the same answer. No pre orders No how. in fact I was informed "if you really want to pre order today go to BB or RS they aren't taking pre orders."
I think this is Bill Sh!t as I talked to a sprint rep and he said sprint has not done preorders in about 8 years. Lets see a copy of your so called receipt that says nothing.
Looks like it has too be online. Too be honest it sounds stupid . But you can do it online by chatting with a rep

Ha, normally I'd say yes, but Jenn was the one to do the pre-order herself on this one..
There have been a couple of reports of this, but many more of people contacting Sprint and being told they are not taking pre orders.

I emailed Sprint about preordering this morning and I got an email back saying they are taking preorders starting today. I called two corporate stores and both weren't doing it.

Alright fellas, since I have already got 12 of the TP's I will give you all a giant tip. There is one store that has at least 3 in every store I've been too. The price is higher but the do price match and come with a carrying case which best buy TP's don't. Head to your local Aaron's Sales and Lease. Do not tip them off that you want to buy all their stock if you call to check on quantity otherwise they will just say they have one. Aaron's typically will lease these out at $50.00 per month for a year and they like to make money just as much as the next Joe. I personally made the mistake at the first store but learned my lesson after this.
Please do not ruin this for everyone by calling every Aaron's store and telling them you will buy "their stock" and tell them the price drop over the phone as they are oblivious to it at this point. Once the employee learns of the drop in price they will magically end up reserved when in reality they will buy them and sell them. I want to see my awesome devs here on the Evo 3d forums get them before others, hence the post in these forums and not the HP Touchpad forums.
Good luck, and once again call and ask if they have "1" in stock. Drive, walk, fly, and or skip to the store, but do not ask total stock until you are in the store and ask them to price match Best Buy or you will fail (i experienced this in the first store).
My local Aaron's only had 1 in stock and it was used and heading back to a "shop" to get it fixed.

Called and they had some coming in but retailed at $899. I assume they price match? Because that is ridiculous. Went ahead and put my name down and figured it is worth a shot at this point.
Unless you are in a small town there should be plenty of stores. I just realized also stores similar to aarons like rent a center may carry them also. It's worth a look.

Yes they price match. I had them go to best buy website to get the match they needed.

Sorry this is a dumb question, I called my local Aarons and they have some, so I'm going to head up there when I get a chance to get away from my desk, but I'm confused at how this place works. They charge you monthly if you wanna rent-to-own, but can you buy them flat-out too and they'll price match? So I should be able to bring in a print-out from best buy or hp.com and I'll be able to walk out with one at $149 or $99?
I just called and placed one on hold for tomorrow. Aarons is a rent to own store, correct? They will just let you buy one outright for 99.99? Will they price match even if best buy is out of stock? I always thought they would have to at least be available for the competitor to price match.

Just a warning for you guys. I called three Aaron's around my city (phx, az) and it seems that they have become wise to this price drop and are now bundling them with computers. If your local Aaron's is selling them separate then jump on it!

Vin... You are.killing me. I have 2 left and have been unloading them for 225-250 a piece. I do however run viper mod and use a lot of themes from you created soooo I would consider a price drop for ya just pm me with a price plz.

I found some stores by me that have stock. Some of them are in more "rural" areas and lemme tell you, those people are a fack ton nicer and polite that the dikheads in blue at worstbuy. Very helpful. They def have no idea whats gong on with the fire sale. They said they were out but unloading a truck as we speak and 6 are on it. They are even holding some for me! Hopefully it goes through. The toughest part is going to be price matching. Here are links to online retailers sites if anyone is interested..... (I'm not trying to sell or solicit anything with these links MODS, just posting them as leverage for fellow XDA'ers to use in price matching, no banwagon plox)

Looks like I have a very slim shot the guy from Aaron's says he is getting one in tomorrow. Took my name said he would call then it shows up. He said they would price match. Sounds too good to be true.

I had asked the nice lady about price matching and she said no problem. She seems so nice in fact that i may just unravel my whole plan to her that i want to come there any buy each and every thouchpad that she has in stock for only $99 each....

I think you got lucky with the employee you spoke with. When I called the woman I spoke to was trying to get all my info over the phone to start a contract on the touchpad. She seemed kind of aggressive. I hope she doesn't give me a hard time. I just want to purchase one, not all.

If it's too good to be true... it cost the seller more in shipping from china to us. Also the seller shows no sale history or feedback, even when it states that 51 were sold. Sounds like a scam.

I buy a lot of stuff off eBay, and that looks REALLY sketchy, for a number of reasons. The seller has no prior feedback, either as a buyer or seller, he's sold 52 of them, and nobody has left any feedback on him, even though some of the buyers have lots of feedback, and he hasn't left any on any of the buyers pages. Lots of red flags, but it's only $15, try it, and tell us what happened. :good:
EDIT - The sales jumped from 51 to 60 in the time to type out my message, sounds like a scam.

I bought the note 3 last week but put a screen protector on it just today and after reviewing some forums about it I found that note 3 actually has 5 s-pen tips included in the box but I wasn't aware of it and can't seem to find my box.
Does anybody know if I can buy just those tips somewhere or if there is somebody that has it but doesn't need it and can mail it to me?
I thought I remember seeing that you can get them thru samsung. You could try emailing them. They have a few different s pens they make that look like they use the same tip.

Go to Best Buy and ask the Samsung Rep. I was able to get a extra cable for free from one of their demo models. Worth a try

I checked out Samsungs website and I don't see anywhere you can buy the tips but they sell the pens on there and they probably come with extra ones. Amazon also has some S-Pens that include the 5 tips and the tool to change them. Amazon is about half the price to.
Looking to see if anyone has used Alibaba before and if they have does anyone know any good sellers that are not a scam on there for cell phone accessories thanks in advanced

If you don't mind possibly sharing the seller that you go through and exactly what you were buying that would be great and may help us out with our question thanks?
Almost any should be fine. I've managed to get a refund the few times I've been ripped off by a seller. That being said, I would advise looking for sellers with 1000+ feedback to make sure you're dealing with someone trustworthy. Ordering by orders when searching for items helps a lot with narrowing that down as there is items with more feedback will allow you to get an idea of what the quality is like.

I generally only buy cheap things from china things like cable clips with an adhesive on it.

Look for the gold seal they use on trusted sellers. The seal should have a number on it,which represents the amount of years they've been with alibaba/express
