Upgrade QTEK 2020 to 1.60.00 ROM - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 ROM Development
Just as experiance, I upgrade my English QTEK 2020 from:
ROM Version: 1.03.00 USA
ROM date : 09/04/03
Radio Version : 1.05.12
Protocol Verison : 1337.12
ExtROM version : 1.03.21
to
ROM Version : 1.60.00WWE
ROM date : 12/03/03
Radio Version : 1.06.01
Protocol Verison : 1337.16
ExtROM version : 1.60.21
using ROM image downloaded from http://goztreh.free.fr/
No problem during upgrade.
I used XDAtools in order to backup previus ROM image and Backup occured without broblem.
Good news is the solution of SMS bug about +.
Enjoy upgrade.

I do it the same from upgraded (O2)1.03 to (QTek)1.06.21. However, my extended ROM turns into non-writable after upgrade. Any method to slove it?

hi, my current specs for the Qtek 2020 are - ROM version - 1.66.00WWE ROM date - 02/20/04 Radio version - 1.10.00 protocol version - 1337.18 ExtROM version - 1.66.101 i want to know, if there is a ROM update for the qtek 2020?
There is no newer Qtek rom (yet)! You are using the latest Qtek rom. Cheers Panja

1.72.00 I suggest you skip 1.6X.XX and flash the 1.72.00WWE instead.

yup, i am sorry. the alternative rom you can download in www.sourceo2.com or www.o2.co.uk their website is free download. i think this rom compatible with your device(before i use it). this information rom is : rom version : 1.60.00wwe radio : 1.10.00 ext. rom : 1.60.50 ----------- sorry my bad english
