HTCUSB Modem Driver From ur CD
then use wireless modem to connect
dont forget to create new connection in ur pc.

I am using the Shadow Clean Edition.
When I enable Internet Sharing and then connect it to the PC, the PC recognises the device as a network adapter and not a modem. So, I can't really connect to the internet.
Any ideas?
hi body, i think u will need to install Mircosoft ActiveSync on ur PC 1st.. if you have not done this yet...
what i normally do to use Internet Sharing to surf the internet while in the office, connect my 818 pro to the PC via USB, then ActiveSync would automatically start and connect ur mobile to PC... don't worry.
run Internet Sharing on the mobile, then click Connect on the bottom.
then ActiveSync will disconnect and your GPRS connection will start and minutes later you check ur PC on IE. then enjoy.

could you describe the "use" a little bit?
You can connect to the PC via USB and connect with BT, but what are you trying to do?
PC settings
I presume you are trying to be connected to your PC by USB while you are using bluetooth for something else.
On the PC, in Activesync, you need to choose the connectio n settings for the connection and activate the option:
Allow wireless connections on device while connected ...

I don't think that would work well as I think active sync can only use one connection.
You may be able to use WM5Torage to access the memory card, whilst the device is connected to AS via bluetooth, but I've never tried that!
I can't get my phone to connect to my computer via bluetooth. The phone discovered my computer, and vice versa, but I can't get the two to connect. Any suggestions?

wat software are u using to connect ??? on which os WIndows/LInux ...IF windows u cud try bluesoleil suite for bluetooth..It works with many many dongles and might work with yours too..USing it i can connect Phone with PC and exchange files using OBEX FTP and also access internet over bluetooth using DUN

I'm on a Mac. I didn't know that you needed software on the computer to make the connection. I'll be able to figure it out from here..

I have a strange problem with my SGS3 I9300.
When i connect it to the pc trough USB cable, it make me choose if i want to connect it like "dispositivo multimediale" which is the italian translation of Media Drive (or something like that) and should be the normal connection or "fotocamera" which means camera.
Doesn't matter what option i choose, the phone won't connect to PC.
Any suggestions?

Delete all drivers for the SGS3 from your pc. Then try to connect via MTP (it´s the first option) and Windows should install the right drivers. If it doesn´t work, try to delete the drivers aswell and use this to install the drivers.
Mine connection istn´t working well, too. Sometime I have to plug out and plug in, restart PC and phone etc. But you can use the Easy UMS app.

You neglect to say if you have installed Samsung Usb drivers or kies .

1. As JJEgan said, install drivers, first.
2. Uninstall KIES, or make sure that its services are not running in background on PC
3. Before connecting the phone, cut-off internet connection on PC. It will always try to download drivers from MS
4. Try another data cable.

Kies was installed but then i've removed it
