which FM transmitter? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Accessories

What would be the "best" FM transmitter to hook to the qtek 9100?
Ideally is there a bluetooth model out there if that makes any sense.
Available outside US if possible.

I believe Bartok was looking for a small format fm transmitter in order to make the Qtek an audio player for the car stereo... withouth the need of connecting cables at all.
I´m guessing he´s looking for something similar of what is out there for the Ipod... not an FM broadcast heavy duty equipment that´s bigger than the qtek!.

Review of the SonicGear Blue2 SR300 Stereo Bluetooth Headset

Introduction
I was looking for a decent A2DP bluetooth headset for quite a while, and my requirements were simple.
Ability to use my own earphones
With a decent display
Looks somewhat stylish
Simple to use
Good sound quality
Good battery life
There have been quite a lot in the market, specially from SE, Motorola, but some things just didn't fit right for me. The popular SE-DS970 had really terrible battery life, the Motorola S705 had everything going for it, but it was too huge. Many other sets had no display or just too unsightly.
After walking around SLS for a while, I chanced upon a store advertising this SonicGear A2DP adapter. Needless to say, after trying it out, I walked out of SLS with it.

The box design was kept very simple, and it came with your standard fare of accessories. A charger, miniUSB cable for charging and flashing your headset if there is a new firmware, and a generic in-ear earphones.
What can I say? It's pretty stylish. There are a total of 3 controls on the headset to keep it simple, a miniUSB slot at the side, and a switch behind this adapter.
Functionality
My test bed with be the official WM6 ROM for the Dopod 838 Pro with WMP with bitpool at 52, max 80.
Once it's switched on, you will be greeted with the brand name on their impressive OLED display.
The display will show everything. Status, battery life, volume, all will be shown on this fantastic display.
Now for pairing. How easy is it? Switch it on, press and hold onto the button with the BT sign, and just let it sync! It pairs within seconds, and with the display you do no need to be able to read alien LED lights or guess anything.
Sonic Gear integrated the fast foward/rewind functions into the volume button, which I think is a pretty good idea to save space for the display. Holding the + button will activate the fast forward function on your phone of choice, and the - key will activate the rewind function. Pretty neat!
Battery life was fantastic, lasting 5-6 hours for playing music. This was on the first charge, and it would probably be able to do better.
Sound Quality
I'm very picky with sound quality and won't settle for something that sounds terrible. Fortunately the SonicGear didn't disappoint when I paired it with my Mylar XB. Bass was good, there was a bit of crackling when it's too loud (Probably due to the player) but it sounded good. It sounded better than the DS970 I tested.
Conclusion
It's a very good buy if you can get it at a good price, and I would recommend anyone looking for a headset without FM radio to get it. Good price, good display, and excellent SQ, makes it a very easy choice to make.
Website
Unfortunatly, it seems this product is impossible to find in europe.
Do you remember the name of the shop where you bought it?
Can you display artist and titles on the screen?
May i know what is the defauly passkey for this Blue2 SR300? I need to have 0000 default passkey for me to pair with my sony walkman bluetooth adaptor
Nice review! I'm also looking for a BT stereo headset and not sure yet which one to buy. So the "+" "-" and "BT" are the only hardware buttons? So what happens when press "+" or "-" just once? It changes the volume? But how do you skip a track then? Thnx!

You hold the +/- key to skip forward/backwards a track. To adjust the volumes, just press it as per normal.
Can you both skip tracks and ff/rew within the same track? Also, where can you buy these online?
How do they sound with the supplied headphones? I read the DS970 also last for around 6 hours, what was your experience?
I have never been able to find these for sale online (or in any stores here in Cleveland, Ohio, USA). However, this looks exactly like them - except it has a different name on it.

$57 sounds like a good deal!
I have small issue with SR300 which I am using it to connect to my Samsung S5 mp3 player with bluetooth. I am connecting SR300 to normal earphone so it becomes bluetooth earphone to listen to my mp3 player.
Once the samsung S5 is paired with SR300 bluetooth receiver, the volume control on S5 will not affect the volume output from SR300, so I have to adjust the volume from SR300 if I want to adjust volume output from SR300. The volume adjustment on S5 is affecting only the volume output on S5 (I have verified this as I can hear the sound output from S5 is changing when I adjust the volume on S5). So it is as if the volume adjustment on S5 and SR300 is totally independent from one another.
While skipping track forward and backward works both on S5 and SR300.
Is that the way AVRCP works?
Can someone try to see if this also happens on PDA - SR300 pairing i.e. the volume from SR300 can only be changed from SR300, not from the PDA?
Sonic Gear SR300
The device is quite awsome comparing to my previous ITech Clip D. The display was helpful to view & yet better compre to the others (within the same category).

[Review] Samsung HM6450 Bluetooth Headset

First of all, this is my 2nd hands-free Bluetooth device (my 1st was a [Nokia BH-900] that barely worked on my PC but worked well on my N95).
Ever since the day I got my HTC Hero, I really missed using a wireless headset to listen to music/internet radio.
Thankfully, one day I saw what I wanted and it was for a great price! ($39.99 USD)
Okay, enough with my rambling, time for the good/bad stuff:
*Since every retailer who sells these always lists specs and box contents, I won't bore you with the same boring thing.
Pros:
+Once paired, it connects easily with my HTC Hero [Elelinux-7.1.0-RC1-Hero-v3.1], Macbook Air, PC [Vista Business/Windows 7 Professional] laptops. Obviously, not all at the same time.
+Has multiple earbud accessories for numerous ear sizes.
+Does not have a goofy blue flashing indicator.
+Once on your ear, it won't come off unless you want it to.
+You can use your own headphones in conjunction with the headset.
+The 3.7V, 100mA gives about ~6 hours of continuous use (videos and music).
Now for the very short list of the negatives...
Cons:
-The entire unit is housed in a cheap plastic shell (my unit fell to pieces when I received it [2 little dabs of glue quickly fixed this])
-Even though this unit is the same standard size as the newest headsets in the market, it feels a bit heavy. I think this is due to the fact that I don't use it everyday and I have weak ears canals.
-The "text-to-voice" software in the Android marketplace is worthless with the HTC Hero.
Although a lot of the functions can't be used on the Hero (text-to-speech messages/email/time, headset locator, etc), you probably could use it on other phones/devices.
If you have a HTC Hero and want/need a wired/wireless headset, buy this unit! It has everything you'll ever need. Period.
Finally, since I only use this as a wireless headset, I never tested the microphone quality. I still haven't developed the backbone to wear this out in the public .

http://sellout.woot.com/ has it for $29.99 today. Anyone else have this and want to comment on their experience? Most of the reviews on Amazon are poor.
Hi CGeyser, could you please check with the manual and advise what's the frequency range of the HM6450 (regarding the audio playback)? I try to identify that online but got no clues anywhere.THX
BTW, how's the noise reduction with its dual-mic?
The manual doesn't say anything about any frequency range of the phone and audio playback. It only shows pairing instructions and liability statements.
I use my wired stereo headphones in conjunction with the headset (my ear canals are sensitive to the weight of BT headsets). I can clearly hear the caller and they can hear me as well. It eliminates the majority of background noise while allowing you to hear/to be heard. This configuration isn't very convenient, but it allows you to use the device without looking like a goofy businessman/businesswoman.
I have yet to use the BT headset by itself so I can't attest to the audio/mic quality.

Thanks CGeyser. Your input is already doing much more help than Samsung's support (like you said, nothing indicative could be found from their manual)
Job21, just curious, why do you want to know the frequency range?
I imagine that its the same if not similar to other BT headsets already out in the market.
Are you worried that it'll interfere with your wireless network(s)? If so, you should be able to easily change your router's settings.

sorry for confusing u.
for frequency range i was referring to the headsets output (bass to treble) to earphone.
since i'm planning to get a quality pair, and hope hm6450 would get me a wider range and best utilize the earphone
ps i finally manage to identify user manual of each hm6450 / hm3700 /hs3000 from 3 diff site of samsung worldwide, what a good support
Hmmm...as of now, I don't know of any BT headset that'll allow you to directly change the bass & treble on-the-fly. Maybe with some software on your phone "might" be able to change it (virtually/simulated).
On the headset, you can only change the volume and the device(s) it gets paired to.
As it is now, the sound quality is excellent as any good BT headsets get. Not as good as as my wireless Sennheiser headphones, but still very good.

I was thinking if this HM6450 or someother BT headset would allow most of the original signal to feed to the earphone (just checked, it should be frequency RESPONSE indeed).
But like you said, there should be standard output among different brand and gives no big difference at all.
Sorry I couldn't help you as much as I could. I'm not really an audiophile.

Cool Accessories.
In Indonesia very difficult search accesories like your post.
think the wireless charging cover looks pretty neat
Any news on US release dates for the cases?
I've done a short review of the Smart window style cover in this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=56541197
I think after the 10th we will see more cases, wcr14 is already on amazon, but it is imported i believe which estimated delivery is at least 18 days, same for amazon.uk for us usa z3 owners. So it will be best to just wait a couple days for me to see if there is a usa launch of wcr14 that way ill just do 1 day shipping
Now theres a youtube video up for the wcr14, it looks nice but bulky and cover has no magnet for wake feature. Also the cover seems really loose so it might not be the best stand case but ill have to try it myself because the last reason was me assuming it might not be the best stand case.

Huawei Starts to Sell New SERES SF5 Car in its China Flagship Stores

The high performance monster with Huawei technologies
In response to consumers’ range and recharging anxieties about electric vehicle, Huawei and SERES have created a new electric drive range extension system. Equipped with HUAWEI DriveONE Three-in-One Electric Drive, the system is not only the optimal solution for reducing range anxiety, but also delivering world-class coupe performance. The new SERES SF5 offers flexibility for users, with a range of 180 km in pure electric mode to meet the needs of daily city commuters,1 and a range of over 1000 km in extended range mode for long distance travelers.
