In gratitude of what I have learned in this forum, I have revamped the ATOM WIKI to make it more informative and useful. It is a continuing process, and I urge everyone else to share their knowledge of the device by contributing in the WIKI.
Please don't mess it up.

XDA ATOM Disassembly Guide
homer285 has posted in the wiki for the hardware disassembly of the XDA Atom with large macro pictures of a step-by-step guide. This is an invaluable resource for device modders.

Pls i just joined up and while trying to download the software to unlock my vario,it says copy to your wizard.does that mean my vario or is there a seperate programme called wizard.sound dum but true. .Pls reply directly if possible.
Wizard means your phone. The Wizard is a generic name (rather, HTC's code name) for all similar phone, like Vario, XDA miniS, K-Jam, and ... Qtek9100. Read the front Wiki.

Anyone got a WM 5-cab for me pls?

Hey everybody,
for some reasons I got big problems with reimporting my old contacts to WM6. So, now I need to downgrade my Trion to WM5 in order to export them in some other way.
But it seems there is no wm5-cab available on the net anymore. My only hope: Does anybody still got a wm5-cab floating around which he could upload for me?
Help is very welcome! Thx
OK, so without getting into details and insults, there are a couple things about your post that lead me to believe that you lack some of the basic knowledge / experience you will need to do this.
SO, see THIS LINK for your WM5 ROMs (note that they will not be cab files).
AND, I strongly suggest you see THIS LINK for downgrade flashing instructions.
thx todd,
don't worry about insulting me, because you're absolutely right: I do have some basic knowledge about PPCs, but I totally lack the experience of any downgrading or stuff like that.
I'm very grateful for you reply and I will carefully read the instructions. hopefully it will all go well...
thanks a lot!!!
Oh Boy!!!!
We should have a Hall Of Fame for posts .... this would be tops!!!
cool....

Ok, I took the hint and restructured the Titan Wiki to begin to make it more useful for the people here. If you have thoughts on how to improve it, let me know, there is still considerable development and information to add. Or you can update it yourself, its not too hard.
More updates to the Wiki
Added a Kitchen tutorial page and updated several others. Hyins and dinominant have also contributed. Thanks, lets keep the ball rolling.
Rschell, great idea to compile all the necessary info but would it be to much to ask for a link to these new additions?
Thanks in Advance.
beat me to it. lol
I edited an htc mogul wiki...but i dont think it's the same one. hah

Newbie Friendly Instructional Videos

So I created these instructional videos to help newbies out with loading ROMs etc.
TO ADVANCED USERS: I know that these procedures are not new but the instructional videos have seemed to help a lot of newbies and I think it would benefit anyone weary of attempting these procedures.
Please don't post how this is old news, I am well aware. These are just for newbies to help them get started. It also should help eliminate newbies asking the same questions over and over as most are answered right under the videos, and I'm sure you'll appreciate that
MODERATOR: Please sticky or add to any tutorial threads for the sake of the newbies.
Hope this helps some people out! Enjoy!
If anyone wants me to do any other videos in particular please let me know.
How To Load HardSPL, Radios, and a Custom ROM -
http://theunlockr.com/2009/09/13/how-to-load-a-custom-rom-onto-your-windows-mobile-phone/
Good morning,
I do understand and appreciate your post... But I do have a question:
Apart form the HardSPL flashing process, why don't they/you suggest flashing both ROM and Radio via SD Card?
It is faster, safer and cleaner...
Wouldn't you agree?
Kudos to you, anyway. It was a good idea to post this video.
Cheers.

But, if i want to update the latest android build, what is the way ?
* Need i to download the android source code and buid it ?
* I'm so sorry for this noob question but it's very hard to find "simple" informations about the different way of cooking on android. It will be very nice if anyone could explain the different way of cooking and this amazing os
Thanks a lot my friends,

(all above links are in this subforum)
The build of android you cook is determined by the device you own. That's where you need to start.
1. Choose device
2. Look for device on xda forums
3. Look around the device forum you just selected, paying extra attention to the "<device-name> Android Development" subforum
4. Learn
Cooking for android (correctly) isn't learned overnight.
Thanks a lot
