I discovered a company called Krusell, which is a fine leather manufacturer out of Sweden. They have a line of accessories called Multidapt, which essentially allows you to use the leather case on your phone and mount it to a number of different things, including belt, backpack strap, and, best of all, car windshield (or car dashboard). I was trying to figure out what would be best for mounting options in my car, but I didn't want something permanent, as my car is only a temp. The accessory to mount to your windshield is called the Krusell Windshield Holder, and is about $15 shipped. You need to also purchase the Mogul leather case or the Multidapt accessory to hook the two of them up.

I just use a generic car mount and it works fine... the only thing that worries me is that the back of the phone gets kind of hot... something with some ventilation would be awesome.

I was totally thinking of buying this mount! Does anyone have it? I am wondering if it has a permanent mounting option. I have a Pro.Fit mounting bracket in my car and would love for it to be able to attach to that!

I have this mount and love it. The landscape swiveling is awesome to use your keyboard for keyboard shortcuts(never for txting or emailing while driving obviously, grin). Sound quality is great from the audio out into my aux in on my car. I use it for mp3's, gps etc and it works great. That's pretty much identical to what I use.
It works fine, but it's got 2 downsides....
1. The back of the phone gets hot in it.. I'm sure that's not a really good thing.
2. The back of the mount blocks the speaker, so voice directions are muffled. If your car stereo has an auxilary input, problem solved... my car doesn't.
Anybody knows if Herbert Richter is going to manufacture "dedicated" cradle / car-holder? I was very satisfied with the Polaris one (see picture) but i can not find any information about it for HD, i can not even find a web site of this firm !!

Its not held by gravity. Otherwise it would jump out on bad streets.
Brodit holders hold it firmly with the side panels.
I just mounted them an hour ago. These are my 3rd Brodit holders, expensive but worth every cent.
So yes: you can rotate it and it wont fall out.

I have been using it for a few weeks now. Quality is good. The device fits nicely. First I had it mount with the two flaps on the right, but then you cannot take out the stylus. So i flipped it 180 and now it is fine . I never use the stylus in the car anyway, but I am a perfectionist

I have the CM929-S: Swivel Vent PDA Car Mount from Arkon that I got from eBay a while back for around $10. It works pretty well with the TP2, and I like it better than suction-cup mounts because it won't fall off. Although, I do like the idea of a unit-specific mount if I could find one.

Wait Spartan: The richter holder I posted is for TOUCH PRO 1 not Touch Pro 2! You can use the Richter "arm" (don't know the right word) and add the brodit holder.

the speaker is fairly useless... the TP2 speaker is louder
does have 2 USB charge port though, 1 at 1.2a (fast charge!) and another at 600ma
a little thicker than the none power version but worth it
so you can charge 1 phone and another device... or a friends phone too
I combine it with a proclip vechile mount and its perfect!
I just got the box wave kit. The quality is good and you can fit the TP2 in landscape with keyboard out and portrait.
They dont give you a dash disk to mount on your dash but suction cup is huge should mount on any window. They also give you a HVAC vent hook as well.
I'd give it a 7/10.

TP2 now functions as an easily accessible hands-free phone, mp3 player, and gps system. Man, I love this thing

Much sturdier in reali life than the pictures suggest. Good selectioon of attachments etc. Way better than the ebay one I had for my Touch pro.

I know theres a thread on the Touch pro 2 Car mount but i dont know if any of those mounts work for the Tilt 2. I'm looking for something that fits nice and clips to the vent sturdy and also can rotate to landscape. I searched and searched and googled and cant find anything remotely good.
I bought a universal one but it was garbage
I know Proclip / brodit makes great car mounts but i cant justify paying 70 bucks for a car mount. ( 35 for the mount and 30 for the car mount part )

I did it here.
Again I'm weary of TP2 exact fit holders. That one is labeled for T7373, the Tilt2 is T7377. There is a small size difference. It does look decent though.
I drive a GMC Sierra and have been looking for a dash or vent mount. A windshield mount puts the phone out of arms reach.

Actually this one is available. I've already got one in my truck for my Tilt 2.
be VERY careful with vent mounts. Your AC can make your phone cold causing it to condensate when you exit the vehicle and walk around outside ESP in high humidity areas thus voiding your warranty

i bought the proclip car kit for the tilt. now i have the tilt2.
the car mount fits great, good location. i agree it is expensive, but replacing the phone holder for the tilt2 is half the cost. still great fit and location.

I have the same holder, and yes it does. It also allows you to open the keyboard.
igrip
i have the igrip custom mount for my fuze, i like it a lot, and the mount detaches from the goose neck. they make several mount options that can connect to the custom clip. the have one for my mountain bike, so i can attach it on the trails and use some of the gps features with a program i downloaded here on xda. They also have some more solid mounts that dont move around as much as the goose neck. I am getting a tilt 2 real soon, as soon as my contract is up for upgrade... (next week).. would love to find a custom clip for it that works with the igrip mounting options, has anyone seen one. i dont see a custom clip for the tilt 2 on their website.

Yeah i had a iGrip for the Fuze as well and i loved it. I am wondering if they say TP2 if they work with the Tilt 2. Im not sure if the specs are exactly the same or i would be buying this one here for sure

Hi, I am interessted in a solid Bike holder too and was looking for the whole day. I found this in ebay germany, the producer is Haicom, tomorrow I will order.
I want to use it only in landscape mode and for me it looks appropriate for this. The only thing is that I don't trust the connection between the HTC cradle and the Handlebar attachment, so perhaps I have to stick it with instant glue, but all the other holders I saw don't have such big retaining clips in the cradle like this one.

my experience so far
The cradle i ordered is a little bit bigger then the touch hd and the connection between handlebar attachment and the cradle is a little bit unsteady like i thought but no problem. I sticked felt pads on it and its very very solid now, also a good method to avoid scratches. I've made a little video that you can see how solid this is now. So I think this is a good one only after you stick those felt pads.
Sweet it looks pretty sturdy.. If you can get it to stay in one place on the handel bars then thats the one for me

I did not buy them from amazon (I forgot where I got them), but they are original from HR.
Just an advice: The first time I used my device on the bike, I lost my stylus - it must have gotten loose due to some vibrations, and it was only on a paved bike path, not cross country-like vibrations...
So better remove your stylus or find some way to fix it.
I had the luck that it was on my way to work, and it waited for me to pick it up on my way back not far from my home...

A cradle for a bike with exposed screen like that is asking for trouble. If you go over a bad road or bump etc it can become lose or if you are in a crash there is no protection. I found its safer to get one of them arm band phone protectors and strap it down. seems to work for me

Wich clip did you order with your haicom Bike Holder? I cannt find a T8282 version?
I have ordered that bike holder for the HTC Touch HD (T8282), just take a look once again. It is definitly from Haicom for the Touch HD

Seems to me that no one sells this bike holder in Netherlands. Here is an ebay seller in Germany, you can order there if you don't mind.

I bought a bikeholder at Saturn. They have several bikeholders from Hama and not expensive. Mine is even waterproof.
