HELP. Revert back to Voda 1605 - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Software Upgradin

I need help to Revert back to Voda 1605.
How do i do this now?
Which firmware version shoud i use and which Vodafone ROM?
When i used the Dopod Firmware and Vodafone UK Extended Rom from the XDA site, i got errors saying cannot find windows\\vodafone.bmp.
I guess the Vodafone UK Ext ROM looks for custom files which shoud be there, however, as it the Dopod one, they are not there and gives a error.
Can some please send me this file and help to get it back to vodafone?

There is no official rom upgrade from Vodafone, so at the moment you can't revert back to the original VF ROM.
You'll need to wait until they release a ROM update.
Regarding the Vodafone.BMP error, see this post.

If you put an image in windows with the name vodafone.bmp it will let the extended rom run. However, it WILL NOT revert you back to the vodafone ROM. You'll get the 3 symbol, the setup things but the phone skin will be broken and you will not have the voda theme - have to wait for a voda rom

Stock Vodafone Splash Screen

Can someone remind me what the stock splash screen is for a UK Vodafone Touch Pro?
Need to send my device off for repair, and I can't remember what the original splash screen was....At the moment I've used the stock Touch Pro one.
Flashing back the original stock rom doesn't half make you appreciate how much more usable the device is thanks to custom ROMs!
if you flash a original vodafone UK rom you also have the vodafone splash screen and original radio .
ps do not forget to "unhardspl"
download link "http://rapidshare.com/files/147978863/vodafone.rar.html" of the vodafone UK rom.
Yeah, I have already flashed back to the original radio & rom - it did not change the splash screen, which was why I was thinking it might be the stock one, but I wanted to be 100% sure before I put the stock SPL back on.
Thanks
the German vodafone rom do that.
you can first flash a german rom and than the uk one

O2 Stock ROM for Iolite/XDA Guide or backup?

I want to start flashing my Iolite, although before I will start I would like to know if there's any original shipped UK O2 ROM available, and if not is it possible (it is, I guess) and if so, how to fully back it up/dump it so I can revert to that later on? Thanks.

downgrade to official tmobile rom

Hi, Its probably been covered but I just can't find it anywhere...
I'm on modaco 2.9 rom, Firmware 1.5 kernel 2.6.27 and rooted
I want to send my phone to tmobile for warranty repair and want to revert back to original tmobile rom
So can I get Tmobile rom from tmobile website or modaco website in version T-Mobile UK 2.73.110.26 and simply flash it?
As I understand this should unroot the phone but recovery image will still be modified? Is there a way to change recovery image back to stock htc?
You should download a T-Mobile RUU, and install that as it will replace your recovery.
Regards,
Dave
thanks!

where can I download stock rom for telsra/nextG (australia)

Just picked up a t9193 from australia (I'm in US). Before I start flashing roms, where can I download the stock australia nextG/telsra rom? I'm going to put that rom on a spare card to flash back if I ever need warranty work.
I looked through the stock rom archives, but dont see the matching SPL/radio rom for my current stock Australian rom. Thanks.

Help! Need 02 branded firmware

Help forum members need the original UK 02 firmware to exchange the Xperia s for a new one
Here you go...
https://hotfile.com/dl/149774769/af18eb4/Xperia_S_0.67_Stock_o2.zip.html
it's an ftf file so you will obviously need Flashtool.
Thank you worked a treat.
Not working For me
Hi there,
I am in the same situation as you, and wanted to take my xperia s back for exchange due to the yellow tint problem. However, the o2 firmware from the link above isn't working for me. I used flashtool but I am getting this error.
01/032/2012 16:32:53 - ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CODE="0019";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed";
How did you get it working?
Just got the file and it installed. But I returned the phone without the o2 branded firmware. You can send it as all they will do is replace it or send it for repair and reflash the o2 firmware on the phone. The o2 gurus at store would just reflash the o2 firmware on the phone anyways so you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks for the info. I'll take it to the O2 store ASAP.
