tytn sent mail sync issue - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Software Upgradin

i am running a hermes (Dopod 838 Pro) with Exchange email. i use Entourage 2004 on my Mac... i have a very irritating problem:
when i send an email from my device, in my Mac sent folder (which is communicating with my exchange server), this sent email is reflected as a garbled mime message below:
Received: from 76.76.85.92 ([76.76.85.92]) by ehost009-8.exch987787.net ([76.76.85.92]) with Microsoft Exchange Server HTTP-DAV ;

any idea how to fix this so that it appears normally - i have tried every entourage configuration known to man, but not sure what the cause is for a Mime error. if i open Outlook 2003 or 2007 outlook the same sent email is reflected in the sent folder normally. i have tried to change the 'type' of message in activesync, tool options, email, message format but this is set to plain text.

just tried with activesync 4.2 and no change - emails still show up in the sent folder of my entourage as mime emails.
any ideas guys??

Major problem with sent emails!!! please help me.
I sent an earlier email to a friend from my dopod 838 pro and this is how the email is reflected in my Entourage sent folder.
Is there ANYONE out there who knows what the problem is an how i can fix it? it is driving me NUTS.
There is no way i can use the Dopod (swapping out my blackberry 8700) if this is the way it works with my exchange and entourage 2004.

No idea, but it's base64 encoded, which is why it looks like that. Possibly because it's being sent as UTF-8 instead of ASCII? You could try changing the character set and seeing if that makes a difference.
(Edit: oh, and if it's a private email, you may want to remove it, as it's easily decoded with a variety of tools, including web based ones)

Thanks arghness.
The email was a personal reply to a young doctor friend of mine, struggling to cope under the tyranny of Robert Mugabe's luncy in Zimbabwe..
Do you know if i can change the way my device encodes email or alternatively how my entourage should view sent emails form the device?

Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet? I'm also having excately the same issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Synchronising Outlook Flags onto the XDA

Hi,
I make heavy use of the flags in Outlook - and Ive alwasy thought how good it would be to be able to display these on the XDA when I am away from the office.
Is it possible?
Thanks
Paul
I have tried to have the flags and labels on the PPC 2003, but Pocket Outlook does not support the feature. I contacted a friend at MS and he is looking into getting a beta of a new version of Pocket Outlook that will work in connection to Office 11.
Once I get it and test it I will post it on an FTP site.
Great,
Keep me posted, my email address is [email protected]

Paul

Mobile Outlook Add-ins

Hi All,
I need some decent add-ins for outlook mobile. The limitations of this program baffle me! Does anyone know where I could get some decent add-ins that would allow me to flag messages etc. or is there a different email manager you recommend?
Ta
Which OS are you using? WM5 or WM6? In WM6, Pocket Outlook does a lot more...
WM6 . . . but it doesnt seem to have` much added functionality?
I've been looking for how to flag my outlook emails and it says it's now supported in WM6 and I've even found sites with screenshots showing a 'Follow-up' option that when you select a email appears in the menu.
However I don't see it in my menu and the best reason I can come up with is that it requires the Exchange Server be running the 2007 version and I think my office is still running 2003.
Can anyone confirm, Exchange 2007 is a requirement to be able to see the Follow-up > Flag options appear in our menu?

Hi. Yes.. I'm using Exchange 2007 and you can flag messages in your inbox for follow up (but you can't set any reminders - only flag the message).
You can also view your e-mail in HTML format.
Andy
Since I upgraded to WM6 I am not using it anymore but FLEXMAIL 2007 might be able to help you out? Link: http://www.pocketinformant.com/products_info.php?p_id=mail&dir=wm
Ditto that for FlexMail 2007 - works great for me

[Q] Corporate ActiveSync Timestamp

We have Exchange 2003 at work, and I get my email on my Atrix through ActiveSync. When I reply or forward an email, it adds the following to the email:

Subject: Hi Mom!
The problem is the sent time stamp. It is not showing my timezone (I am PST), and it is showing 24 hour time. The time is setup correctly in my Atrix. My coworkers HTC Thunderbolt shows it correctly, like this:
Date: Fri, Oct 7, 2011 2:03 pm
Can I change this?
Nobody out there experiencing this?

Sending attachments via Exchange not working

Hi,
I do face a strange problem on my Flyer (3G / HC) using Vodafone SIM.
If I try to send a mail with an attachment bigger than 10KB via the stock mail app (T-online via Exchange Activesync) it stays forever in the "out" box.
Mail with attachment 2KB or 4KB is working.
Also working is forwarding an attachment.
The same account is working on WP7 device with same settings. Therefore it doesnt look like a provider issue ?
Same account on Flyer with IMAP is working. Other Exchange Accounts via touchdown also working.
Does someone have an idea of where I can have a look at ?
Seems that this could be a generic issue with T-online and Exchange on Android (3.x ?) devices.
Telekom stated in their german forum that they could reproduce with their "Test-flyer". (sorry, not allowed to post the link)
Are there some more people in that forum who face the same problem ?
Hate to be late to the party, but this has been happening at my company with all of our Android phones. Sending, forwarding, or replying to e-mails with attachments remain in the outbox indefinitely. Sometimes they will send after an exchange reboot or after a couple of weeks. Here is a solution I found on the microsoft forums:

Solution found in my case:
In Exchange Management Console, go to Server Configuration > Client Access > Exchange ActiveSync tab.
Double click Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync Properties. Go to Authentication tab, and make sure Basic authentication is checked (mine already was) and check "Ignore client certificates" (default is set to Accept).
Cycle the WWW Publishing Service, and attachments should send.

Samsung Galaxy SGS2 running CM9 Email

I am having issues with my Android email app.
I have tried a couple third party but I am really loving the stock ICS email app. I just have one issue.
Like the ****ty iPhone when replying to an email it removes all of the email header information and just says, "Mike John <[email protected]> wrote:"
I would like the full headers to display as we need this for business emails.
This is one of my main arguements against the iPhone and I would like the android devices to hold this about them.
The email header I`m looking to have included is:
