Has anyone seen this - and thinking about getting it?
The specification states Bluetooth Class 1 - all the headset devices I have seen are class 2. Do you think this makes any difference?
My main uses of the headset are FM Radio, and Caller ID. I have not seen any other product (aside from the Nokia HS-12 - that does this.
Any thoughts?

Hello everyone, newbie here so please allow for some level of 'ingnorance'.
I am trying to pair up LG HBS-110 earphones to my Verizon TP2. These headset were brougth with the Verizon LG Chocolate (mid 2006). They still work as I am still able to pair it with that device. The TP2 is not finding it when I search. It locates my neighbor's laptop 2 hourses away but not the damn earpiece. Could it be they are too old or TP2 needs the proper 'drivers'?
A Verizon Samsung Rougue did not pick it up either. My daughter' 'newer' cell, also an LG, picked it up but would not name it and could not pair it.
Any ideas to make it work? Trash it? Use it as a necklace?
Thanks.
See if your BT headset as a reset function, that removes all the pairings he had in memory. Nokia's one had that function since they hold in memory more that 1 phone, and after the memory is full, no more new phones could be paired.
thanks for the tip. I do have a reset, did pressed it for several seconds. It might have been 10-15, not sure. I honestly don't have the instructions and don't know the time limit. thanks.
Is the bluetooth on the TG01 SAPpy?
Sadly not, if the SAP you're referring to is SIM ACCESS PROFILE.
My TouchHD had it, yet the TG01 hasn't seemed to implement it.
(SIM Access Profile is also known as 'Remote SIM mode' and is used by carphones and other devices, to access your SIM card over bluetooth, and use it as if it was connected physically to that device)
My carphone is SAP compliant, and on my TouchHD, I would get into the car, press connect, and my handset would go radio-off, and all radio functions would be handled by the carphone, giving me better reception, more powerful transmission etc. When I leave the car, the SIM is 'freed' up for the handset's use, and it comes back to life.
The TG01 doesn't have much in the Bluetooth configuration stakes, and definitely no option for SAP - the TouchHD had pages of stuff on its BT capabilities... strange.
What's the chances of porting a new BT Radio stack into the TG01 any time soon? *ducks the low flying pigs*
Had I bought a Nokia 810 Carphone, it would have worked with Bluetooth Audio, as well as SAP, so no problem, but I was a cheapskate, and got a Nokia 610, which is SAP only. Sigh.
have you tried Jetware? it is a software that gives you more BT profiles
Any speculation as to whether the FM Radio in the AT&T 920 will \ could be enabled. If Nokia gets paid a cut of the Nokia music purchases I can see why they think disabling the FM Radio is a good idea.
Do any of the 920s overseas come without Nokia Music and\or have FM enabled?
This thread doesn't actually say that the rest of the hardware is in the handset (ie the wiring to the headphone jack as antenna for example), so maybe it is simply impossible:

None of the Lumia 920s worldwide have a built in FM radio. So no, there is no way for Nokia to "enable" such a feature since there is no FM antenna to begin with.
At least, the ones distributed in France don't have FM radio either.
WP8 does not support FM radios at the moment so currently I can guarantee you that there are now Lumia 920s which have it working. As for the possibility to enable it later on I can't tell you wether the hardware to use it would be there but it seems this is not really a priority topic for them given there are not that many people who listen to FM radio on their phones.
Runtastic were the first tracking APP to use Android's 4.3 BLE API's but for some reason they have locked the software to detect only their own branded LTE hardware.
When trying to use other branded hardware I can see a see a connection being made but then is dropped for some reason.
I have spoken to Runtastic and they replied that they are not going to support any other make of BLE other than their own overpriced model.
I am not a technical person but I imagine that the only identification of a device using the BLE protocol would be device name.
If this is the case is there any any way of changing the name of my monitor either through some software or a custom rom to see if this is the case?
Many thanks in advance,
Richard
I have exactly the same problem...
I was thinking in emulate the Bluetooth pairing with the new BLE devices... any ideas?
I have a headphones with BT and NFC connections, trying connect to my LG V30+ I did not find any connection option. This is not an option available in this model, I cannot find any information in the LG site.

My understanding is that BT will connect you to other compatible devices, but if you are referring to Near Field Chip, (NFC), it will simply transmit data between two Droid devices or an NFC compatible vendor module.

You can use NFC to pair your Bluetooth headphones with the phone. Just turn NFC on, and touch the two devices.
The headphones cannot connect and play music via NFC if that is what you mean. That is handled by Bluetooth.
