Parrot Mk6000 problems - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Accessories

Hi.
I am using Parrot Mk6000 with my HTC Tytn. I works almost perfectly, the only problem I have is that when using a2dp i.e. with TomTom6 it takes Parrot 2-3 seconds to switch audio so I miss half of the voice prompt.
Any idea if that can be fixed somehow ?
Thanks

TomTom comers through the speaker not my BT headset?

TomTom comes through the speaker of my XDA2, not my BT201 Headset. I am running the 'latest' O2 ROM upgrade v1.60.50:
TomTom support informed me "2. Using a Bluetooth headset as well as the Bluetooth GPS receiver has been tested positively on this PDA. Please contact the O2 Support if your PDA does not connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. "
I've tried contacting O2 Support & given up after 30 minutes on TWO occasions
Any help appreciated!
I believe that this is correct but you have just misinterpreted what they have said. I think that what they mean is you can still use your BT headset for making and receiving calls while using the BT GPS receiver, this doesn’t mean the sound will go out through the BT headset, this isn’t possible.
However having said that, I don’t actually own a BT GPS receiver so I can't be 100% sure, I could be wrong and if I am I'm sure one will correct me.
I can confirm that using my Bluetooth Headset with a Holux GR230 bluetooth receiver is working fine for making and receiving calls in tomtom 3. But to get tomtom instructions throught the headset would by nice too, but I think there are still bluetooth profiles missing?? (audio profile?) I have installed Bluetooth tools.

Jabra BT620s buffering problem?

Hi,
I'm somewhat of a noob regarding Tytn/Hermes updates etc. Hopefully someone can help me with this problem.
I just bought a Jabra BT620s bluetooth headphone. Connecting works but when I play music in Windows Mediaplayer, the music sometimes stops as if it's buffering a stream.
Does anyone know if this has something to do with a bad connection or should I install some other musicplayer on my PDA? Or is it because the Jabra is just a worthless headphone?
thanks in advance
this has been noticed by several folks now. also problems such as slowing down and speeding up of the audio.
My tests have concluded that i couldnt run my bluetooth head set and bluetooth gps at the same time. on its own the headset was great.
Check you have nothing running as well as wmp also if it is an a2dp headset do a search for the way to add support somewhere on here.. sorry dont know the link.
Music skipping on me as well
I just bought the BT620 - and tried several music players - they all skip. Sometimes I can get thru an entire song and other times it skips so bad as to cal it worthless. The speed up and slow down pitch is very annoying.
Is the issue the headset or the BT stack the MDA uses.
Is there a fix/hack ?
Thanks
I just purchased the Cingular 8525 and BT620s. I can only get the headphones to work as a telephone headset. They will not work with the media player at all, the sound comes from the handset everytime. I have tried pairing them several times, but with no success. Any ideas?

Same Problem. But my BT620s does not work with AVM Blue!Fritz, MDA3 nor with a Logitech DiNovo Desktop. I'm getting angrrrry...
Actually, I got it fixed. With the headset on, and paired, goto the communications manager (second button down on the right side of the handset) and click on settings>bluetooth settings. Then go to the Devices tab. If the heaset is paired with the 'phone you will see it in the list. Click and hold the stylus on the Jabra BT620s item and a pop-up menu will appear. Select "Set as Wireless Stereo". Majically the 620s headset will start flashing both earphones (instead of just one) and it works fine. The headset will automatically switch from phone mode to A2DP mode from that point on. It's slick. I have not encountered the buffering problem reported by others.
Good luck...
Just got my bt620s's and am having the same issue. thought that reducing the quality with fit4cat would work, but nothing seems to fix it. also, for some reason the X-button functionality of spb pocketplus is gone when listening to music with my 8525. After pairing the headphones with my G5, sound quality is worse then than that of the 8525, but I experienced no pauses or skips with the computer, however massive pauses (almost a minute) with the 8525. Tried using mortplayer and wmp. I think these are getting returned unless any of you have found a fix in the meantime. Not to mention the entire phone slows to a crawl, not good.
I too use the Jabra BT620s with the 8525. I also have buffering problems. However, the Jabra also freezes (i.e., locks) the 8525. Bottom line, the Jabra BT620s is being returned.
Hi, I just posted a new thread where I explained how I got the whole thing working http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=293054

Mono instead of Stereo !?!?
Mind the fix of CrazyBrit above, it made the BT 620s jump to Audio mode (both earpieces flashing). The problem with interupted streams got fixed once I shut the WLAN / WIFI function of while listening to music. Remember: WLAN and BT use the same frequency band. In a "normal" data stream interferences are a side issue, but in realtime streams - fatal.
However, even that everything seemed fine with my set, I only hear MONO audio, ie. the left and the right earpiece give exactly the same audio. Now i am stuck. Any hint for me? I got a Swisscom / Vodafone v1605 OEM of the HTC TyTN plus the BT620s. Anybody aware of a firmware update, a software fix or a tricky setting?
Thanks,
Pefis
Well guys ....
I used to have the skipping issue as well , seems to be either a a2dp hack issue , or the ROM is too slow to handle streaming and decoding siultaneously !
Not any more .......
I started using XM6 , and WOW , I can run pocket player without overclocking , and I can finally get pocketmusic to run smoothly and stream a2dp !
So give it a try , worked for me , may work for u !
I am running the bt620s with wm6, everythnig works beautifully. It also worked great with wm5, but 6 is better.
Now for me, these 2 settings made a world of difference as far as quality goes:
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/A2DP/Settings/Bitpool=60
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/A2DP/Settings/MaxSupportedBitpool=35 (or greater)

Two Bluetooth devices simultaneously?

Hi,
has anyone yet had success in connecting e.g. a BT GPS receiver and a wireless headset at the same time to the wizard? I'm currently thinking about buying a BT-Headset, but don't want to miss the GPS navigation at the same time...
Thanks, Horst
yeah I've done it a bunch of times.
it works ok with a standard bt ear set but if you try the higher quality stereo set up i had all sorts of problems. The audio would slow down as the data wasnt getting through quick enough, then when it got the data it would play it fast to catch up to where it should be.
Two bluetooth devices
I have had no problems connecting a bluetooth GPS device and a Motorola headset at the same time.
I find the devices are more reliable if the bluetooth is connected first, then the headset.
When receiving a call on the headset the GPS and TomTom continue to work BUT I lose the sound from the TomTom programme - which has never caused any problems.
Cegmawr, have you done this using a BT Stereo Headset like the HT820? or using a standar mono BT headset?
I have an HT820 and when the GPS is on, i loose the Audio, it starts skipping
Make sure devices are Bluetooth 2 not 1.1
I had a Bluetooth 2 GPS and a bluetooth 1.1 hansfree speaker - bioth kept dropping out.
I now have a bluetooth 2.0 GOS and am using a Seimend Bluetooth Car Kit - all works perfectly, as it does with Nokia nd SoneyEric bluetooth headsets... seem s to me that Bluetooth 2 is the key.
Also, TomTom automatically mutes itself if you're in a call, nothing to do with Bluetooth.

X7500 WM6 and A2DP problem

Hi!
Yesterday I went through the upgrade of the official Dutch HTC Europe WM6 release. No problems there and WM6 works a charm.
The problem came to the light when I paired my Motorola HT820 A2DP headset. The music in the Windows Media Player plays well through A2DP, but only for a few seconds. After that it starts pausing every second. The same goes for all types of audio I play (video, TCPMP, etc).
Who can help? There was no problem using WM5 and a previous WM6 ROM (unofficial and WWE).
Thanks!!
Sounds like your sampling rates are off. Check this thread for info:

Search on Priority256_fix. That seems to be the final piece of the puzzle to fix the blue tooth problem.

Or search on Bluetooth Priority Fix.
Thanks for the tips.
Ofcourse there will be always another problem: my Motorola A2DP headset now fails to autoconnect (after being paired) to the X7500. Normally when I turn on the headset you will see a headphone/musictone icon in the top bar and hear the "connect sound" through the headset. This doesn't happen now. I need to soft reset first, and after that it will work again, for a few times.
Deleting the headset and pairing again works, but the autoconnecting stops working when I try again later.
Damn, what is it with the official WM6 and A2DP?

Hi, I still experience lags and pauses while using A2DP. With the registry tweak Priority256 it even gets a lot worse!!
Any more suggestions? I tried several headsets and even the Parrot Sound speaker set, but all of them are the same. So it's not the headset.
EDIT: I figured that it has something to do with the normal Bluetooth headset I use. I want to use the A2DP stereo headset simultaneously with the normal headset for phone calls. The A2DP headset only uses "Stereo audio" when connected, while the normal headset uses "Headset". This was no problem at all with all other devices I had and no problem as well on the X7500 running WM5. With WM6 things are different I guess.
A2DP WITHOUT the normal headset connected is no problem, like it should work. WITH the voice headset connected simultaneously, the lags come up, the prioriry fix makes no difference in this matter. And I'm stubborn, I want to have the voice headset to be connected at all times, the A2DP headset when I want to listen to music.
Any thoughts?

AD2P on Nike

Hello everyone,
I was using a O2 Zinc on WM6 platform before the current Nike. With Zinc, i was able to listen to mp3 songs played to my SE HBH610 one-sided headset but not now on Nike. I noticed though that the Bluetooth stack on these 2 sets are different while on Zinc, you have an option to "Enable Audio". Anyone, can help? Thank you in advance.
Alano
what settings you have try?
There is nothing much to try. Just either to delete this headset or set it as "handsfree".
There should also a option for bluetooth audio if the phone recognize a2dp on a headset.
my car-hifi has handsfee and bluetooth audio and i can check both.
A2DP for music works like a charm for me...
i dunno about the settings my bluetooth headset when activated automaticly takes over from the phone speaker when im using media programs, though not with all programs. im using an Jabra bt3030 headset myself.
There doesn't seem to be an option perse for A2DP, anyone got an idea?
I have managed to downloaded a 3-party software that allows me to hear on the same headset audio. This show that there is nothing wrong with the capability of the headset but the software of the bluetooth in Nike. As far as I remember, on WM6 of Zinc, it is using Broadcom BT stack. Anyone has ideas where to get this to replace the MS stack on Nike?
Weird - I recently bought a SE HBH-DS220 headset and it works fine together with both Windows Media player and the inbuilt HTC media player.
Nike is A2DP compatible as said in the phone documentation. I use to listen music wirth my motorola S9. When I pair the S9, audio is automatiquely routed to it.
I have a motorola S9 stereo Bt too and everything works fine, even games and tcmcp work without problems.
I use this Blue Tooth Headset. Reason ... no other Product use 24bit D/A Converter! Not much Headset, can match with this product!!! and ... i am a fan of old designes ... if you have a sunglasses ... you look like the first Napster Logo LLOOOLL

The S9s are a great set, but don't ever go running/cycling or get sweaty with them - they totally fail - which is seriously lousy for something thats "designed" for such usage.
I use the Motorola SoundPilot S705, which i brilliant.
I have an outtake for 3,5 mm. jack, and FM radio. When I turn the SoundPilot on, it immediately paires up with my phone.
