Guys and gals, sorry for cross-posting this to several device-specific subforum, but, given that there are so few people reading the General forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=256 ), I thought I have to let you know about the brand new MIDlet Bible I’ve just published, particularly because device-specific subforums are always full of MIDlet-related questions that are almost all answered in the new Bible.

Search XDA-DEVELOPERS using Google
(already setup to search XDA-Developers only. You can also easily find posts by a specific user - enter user name followed by search words)

Search the WIKI using Google
(already setup to search XDA-Developers WIKI only. WIKI = Categorised library of useful facts and information)
OR
.Search ENTIRE INTERNET using Google

.Search using Forum's own Search facility
Remember that Google takes some hours to "crawl" sites for new info. so results will not show the absolute latest posts.

Please fill up the wiki page of Gene (I know you all are pretty much busy... but). I guess our wiki is the least filled up wiki. Atleast then we can ask noobs who ask same questions again and again to go to wiki and see for the answer themselves.

Some guidelines for noobs about posting
1. If you have a query, post it in vaibhav's thread here.
2. If you have trouble in upgrading for the first time, post it at krazy's upgrading stickey found here or vaibhav's Gene automatic SPL updater thread found here.
3. If you have a issue with a particular ROM, post it on that ROMs thread.
These are just basic examples. Please don't be lazy.

Information stored in the wiki is dynamic: The wiki makes it easy for anyone to contribute or edit pages, and link them together, it is the best way to keep all information current and accurate. If you ask something in the forum which you didn't find on the wiki previously, please take 5 minutes of your time to EDIT the wiki and add the information there when you get an answer. This is the only way to avoid tons of new threads asking the very same questions over and over and over again.
