I've been using Plantronics Pulsar 590A for some time and they have worked flawlessly. Good sound and I can easily go into another room still with good sound and no interruptions.
Yesterday I tried the Sony DR-BT20NX and was really disappointed. Excellent sound but the sound dropped when I turned my back or held it behind my back. Tried it with both the Tytn and the Qtek 9100 with the same result.
Just add to the list, it would be nice to know in advance which headsets work well with the Tytn

Reception: Really good, can walk around in my apartment without sound dropping.
Talk: No complaints except if it's really windy.
Design: Ok, however one "ear" flashes blue while in use. Makes you look like something from star trek...
Sony DR-BT20NX
Sound: Good
Reception: Extremely bad. Can not even put it in my front pocket without the sound dropping
Talk: Didn't even try. The reception was so bad these were not an option.
Design: Excellent. Looks good and you just put the strap around your neck. While not in use there are small straps for holding the plugs in place so the cable doesn't get tangled.
I really like the Jabra 8010. The hook is flexible and adjustable. It's taken awhile for me to get used to it though. I've worn a Jabra 250v forever. It has a small cord that goes around the back of the neck that hooks onto the headset on the other ear. You can use mono or stereo.
I use it/them with the HTC 8525. It brought out volume issues with the phone that I didn't know I had though. Searching, reading and people on this forum helped me get those issues fixed and now everything works perfectly.

I'll cast my vote for the Plantronics 590. Phenomenal with the latest A2DP and hardcore's tuning tips. Never a skip and the battery life is incredible!
More than once while listening to my Hermes with them have I've pondered the exorbitant amount of cash I've sunken into my home theater over the years.

I agree on the Plantronics 590. They really raised my expectations, I thought all headsets were equally good which I have found out they are not.
Has anyone tried Motorola S705? They seem really awesome with lcd display, 3,5 mm jack (you can use your own headphones), radio, good battery life (better than with the Sony ones according to a forum I read) and BT class 1 instead of 2 which gives them a theoretical range of 100m instead of 10m which is standard. A little bigger than many but I am really tempted giving them a shot.

I think (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this) that both the BT transmitter and the BT reciever need to be Class 1 to get the kind of ranges that they state for Class 1 devices. I don't know of any current phones and only a few USB dongles that are Class 1. Class 1 devices are also more power hungry.

I highly recommend the blueant ones (X5?). I have them and then another three friends bought them. It also comes with a 3.5mm transmitter so you can use it with your PC/ipod,etc.

I'm really not looking for a device that has 100 m range, but I figure that if it has that kind of range having the phone in your front pocket or moving around in the apartment should be no problem.
Btw. The Plantronics also come with a 3,5 mm transmitter so it can be used for pretty much everything.
The Motorola set does not come with a transmitter but you can buy one separately. If you buy one you can pair it to the phone and another source at the same time. For example, if you are streaming music from your computer and you receive a call, the music mutes and the device switches to your phone.

Probably worth noting there's also Plantronics 590E which is headphones and charger only and is a great option for those who don't need all the trimmings included with the pricier 590A.

I think the pricier ones are a really good buy since you can use them with all equipment imaginable. Forgot to mention that they also come with a regular cable so if you are out of battery or sitting on a plane you can use them without bluetooth.
Wavesystec BT-1000
Saw these in a swedish shop. They are from Korea and I haven't heard of them before. They were charged and I got to try them out. The sound was good but a little low on base. They were really small and I like the way they look, although the shiny front seems to smudge easily. All controls worked like a charm and I could put them in my pocket and walk around the store without any interruptions. Maybe not hifi but the were quite cheap, the store price was 700 SEK (or about 100 $). I'm thinking of going back later this week and test the call quality. Found a website with the specs here:

I have a Nokia HS-12W as well as a HTC BH S100 and both work well on the latest WM6 ROMS.
I use the Schap's ROM without any reg edits.
The advantage of the HTC is that it has a 3.5mm jackplug on the earphone side so you can attach your favourite earphones.
The sound of the Nokia blows away my IPod. Deep base and rich treble.
The range on both are about 10 to 15 meters in an unrestricted enviroment.
The Nokia costs about twice as much as the HTC in South Africa.
I can recommend both of these Stereo BT Headsets.

Well...I bought my R35 off of Ebay and I'll say that I'm a happy customer. Sounds great to me with Sleuth's WM6 LVSW variant, A2DP skip fix, and seems to hold a charge for a decent amount of time before needing recharging. I would say that they are not very good at the telephony part however...whenever I answer or make a call with them...I always get complaints about sound from the other party. They do work with WMP for what it's worth though. I'd say they are a worthy A2DP investment especially if you have a favorite pair of headphones already...
I have some Logitech BT head phones but they are just too big/bulky for jogging, gym, etc. I was thinking how nice it would be to have my phone in my gym bag and the little R35 clipped on!

These are not stereo though...
I bought the Pulsar 260 since the Pulsar 590A have worked really well. At first I was quite disappointed but I then upgraded my rom to LVSW and the sound was dramatically improved. Some slight background noice but nothing big. Controls work well and the range is fantastic. Also no interruptions yet.
The only thing that irritates me is the cable length. You can easily clip it to your belt and so if you hang it around the neck there is a lot of cable dangling around. The sound during calls where adequate but my girlfriend said there was a little squeking noice every time I stopped talking and it was a little irritating. This was with the old rom and I have not yet tested call quality with the new rom. I will report back on that.
Edit: The call quality is adequate and the sound did improve with the new rom. The squeking sound is gone, only a little static left but nothing much.

I got one on sale from Radioshack for $40 bucks I believe a while back. I've heard that some of the units have problems retaining battery but I have no problems with my unit. I get really great sound and reception in my 3 bedroom house. Callers can hardly tell that I am not speaking directly into my phone and its comfy too.

ive been using them since January, they have a massive battery life and work really well once you get your device streaming ad2p. the sound is quite good considering the price (i paid $50AUD via ebay) theres some threads on updating the firmware but it wont work on the A model which i think is usualy the only type you get from Ebay these days. RRP was something like $120AUD which will get you the later versions.
the only 1 downside ive found is even when the headphones are switched off the battery will go flat in a day or so without charge, i just leave them on charge overnight then use them to and from work the next day.
i guess the only other side note is the size, they are a little bulky but the sound is the best part of them.
all in all a decent pair of headphones considering you will pay the same price for an official corded handsfree.

I bought a pair the other day after my Sony DR-BT30QB set broke. Seeing as i only payed £17.99 + p&p for my sony ones, and the price has since gone up about 200% since, i decided to buy the HT820 when i spotted them for only £14.99 + p&p. The first thing i noticed was the quality of the sound is no where near as good as i had come to expect. However after using them for 12+ hours a day (thats non-stop) for listening to Radio 1 streamed via the internet to my office PC i've gotten used to it. The battery life is awesome as you might have guessed. I've not noticed them discharging while not in use but i charge them before every use anyway. Although i use them with my Vario II and an audio transmitter i don't use them much for calls so i can't comment on what i mic is like. Also i've never been on the receiving end of a call made using them. Some people complain of pain above the ears because of the way they sit on your head. I'm completely used to that as well now.
I have been using these for about 5 months myself and I really like them. The audio quality is very nice, as is the volume and bass. I do not have the problem of the battery discharging overnight (you may want to look into warranty replacement for that).
I really like that when talking on the phone with them, audio comes through both earphones and helps isolate you from outside noise. No one I have spoken to has complained about problems with my mic, and pick up seems to be good, even when I am speaking at lower volume in a noisy public place. They do not have noise cancellation though, so sometimes I do find it hard to talk on the phone with them (while walking near a busy street)
One other neat thing about them is that you can plug in a regular 3.5mm cord and use them with non-bluetooth devices in a pinch.
Finally, the radio on them is very strong and I rarely get any interference, even when moving 20+ ft away from my device, through walls.
I recently compared them with the newer MOTOROKR S9 unit, and there is no comparison. These are, hands down, superior.
I've had two different pairs and i think these headphones really suck.
I paid $130 cad for them and was really disapointed. The suond is really flat, there's no bass, the sound is really uncrisp and they're soo bulky.
One upside is that the battery lasts forever. They've been sitting behind my monitor here for a long long time, they're so terrible.
I know the problem isn't my phone because i plugged them into the computer's soundcard and had the same terrible --no wait-- devastating sound.
I give them a 2/10
Anyway, you want bluetooth headphones, go Motorola S9. That headset knows what the true meaning of true, clean, crisp bass/treble is. Plus, they're light weight.

all this is dependent, of course, on the a2dp rolling out. any1 have this update isolated? nyway, be nice to only lug around the g1 instead of g1 + lappy + ipod + all associated cabling and power cords. g1 has almost completely replaced lappy already and ive only had it a cpl of days!
also, i see conflicting info on g1 specs. some say bt v1.0 and other say v 2.0 and still other sites say that firmware upgrade is needed to support bt 2.0.
i dont care what i have to do, but my goal is not only to enjoy streaming music via orb and my home server but also streams from wolfgangs vault with a sound i can deal with. rite now its too sloppy and retarded that it plays thru speaker instead of my current bt headset. found this out the hard way while utubing at work. oops, my bad boss
Prices are not good. The one headset I can recommend wholeheartedly is the Motorola S9. They are fantastic for sports and/or working out.
Here's the thing. The S9's on the site are the old model and they're charging $70 not including shipping. The new ones are the S9-HD's. They have builtin SRS WOW technology and the sound quality is excellent. Best Buy has them for $99 in the store.
If you want the S9s cheap then Ebay is the way. If it was me, I'd be all over the S9-HDs.

S9s are sweet, but only if you have a tiny head. They're not adjustable. And eBay is definitely the way to go...as long as you're cautious. There are lots of Chinese knock-off S9 headsets.
I'm also anxiously awaiting A2DP for the G1. Right now using the 3.5mm adapter which is not bad for being able to answer phone calls while listening to music during my commute.

Anyways before I was using a Nokia 5300 Xpressmusic and then later a SE k800i the quality was great! a little bit better with the nokia but a good set of bluetooth headphones and lightweight

Hi Evry1. I am after an average quality bluetooth stereo headset for my HD. I love music and like to listen to my favourite tracks on the go (on the way to office and uni everyday & sometimes at home from my lappy). Ideally I would love to have amazing quality sound output but can't really be bothered to wear those chunky headsets that offer the sound quality to my satisfaction, so I decided to go for an average quality bluetooth headset for everyday use.
After going through some reviews I'm thinkin of buyin a motorola s9. I know it has issues with the buttons but I don't go to gym and don't get time for even light exercise, hence I have nothing to worry about, on that part. But, unfortunately, I can't seem to find any UK based dealer where I can get it from. Ideally I would prefer a shop where I can take the thing back if anything bad happens.
I would also like your opinion on my choice and if there is any other headset that you might suggest.

ah, here's my 3 cents...
Firstly, the new model is S9 HD...I considered that and some others and finally bought the Plantronics V855. I didn't need very good stereo music, and so the 855 is okay for me. At best, the call sounds are great. I didn't like wires and the 855 had just one simple wire that links to the other ear, unlike those like the SE DS980 (great stereo music).
The S9 HD (to me!) looked very out of place (aka awkward, ugly) on a person when worn - at least that what's I gather from seeing 2 persons wearing them on the streets.
Additionally, some reviews pointed to poor call voice sounds (ie. soft).
...it's really your preference in the end.
I think I'm gonna go with the DS980 then...
Dint get a bluetooth headset at the end, instead got a seenheiser CX 400-II headset... Mind blowing quality. glad that i made that choice...
Wanted to get some opinions on some of the better wireless bluetooth earbuds or headsets on the market...i have the Plantronics backbeat go 2 and lg tones and imo the Plantronics blow the lg tones away...for over the ear wireless bluetooth i have a pair of jam transit and for 50.00 im extremely impressed...the sound is amazing....please give some feedback on some of the units you've tried

I have a pair of Jaybird bluebuds and they sound pretty good. Expensive, but it's got the lifetime sweat warranty and true eight hour battery life.
I was also gifted the beats studio wireless headphones and those sound very good and are very comfortable. They're not $370 good but there isn't much competition even at that price. They sound like $200 headphones sound quality wise.

Been using Sony bluetooth headset SBH50 for more than a month now have no problem recommending this device to anyone looking for a wireless Bluetooth option for cellular or audio listening needs I'm definitely impressed with its functionality sound quality and its built in caller ID, and radio.
However, my SBH50 battery is terrible,the battery charge do not last more than two days even without use at all (standby only) and less than one day with light use (a total of about 2 hour calls) although sony says that SBH50 minimum Rated Talk Time: 8 hours, and Minimum Rated Standby Time: 400 hours
I don't know if it is my Headset problem or it is actual battery life for this type of sony headset ?

The LG's were cool and all but after a while of use, they would "magically" move around your neck and one side would hang lower then the other
I use a NoiseHush NS560-11978 Clip-on Bluetooth Stereo Headset and have been for a couple of years now.
I use it for about an hour + a day for 3 days before needing a re-charge (listening to music the whole time).
Doesn't take very long to charge via usb (It uses a tiny connector at the end of the male usb).
I have never used the earphones it comes with. I've always used my Sony headphones (Just standard music headphones).
The bluetooth dongle has a built in microphone & you can answer / hang up / play / pause / vol up / down / skip forward & backwards.
I use it in the rain (I clip it onto my messenger back strap) and its never let me down over the last couple of years.
My 3 kids all have one each and all of them are still working fine without any problem at all.
If you do a Google image search for NoiseHush NS560 it will show you what colours it comes in (lots).
I guess the sound quality would depend on your headphones you use.. Mine are great (I also user a rom with Viper for sound so I can alter the sound through bluetooth which helps a lot.

Today i went and bought the jam transit wireless bluetooth earbuds and im extremely impressed. ..the sound and clarity is better than alot of other more expensive models. I would recommend them to anyone.

I owned 5 premium bluetooth earphones/headset (wrappable in one hand) in my lifetime and I've got to say Jaybird's really hit the spot.
1. Forgot the name but it has "blue" in the company name: No use for me reviewing the first one as people wouldn't know what to get if I say it's good, but it had a turn-to-release charging cover and had a thick body, wasn't overly viable but it was a decent first pair.
2. Plantronics Backbeat GO 1: This was the one I tossed into the washing machine twice and it stopped working, the buttons were too "gummy" and after a while I was able to peel the buttons off.
3. Plantronics Backbeat GO 2: The reason I replaced this was because sound was lost on one side. Overall nice pair of cheap headphones if you're new into the bluetooth earphone scene. I see many people with this pair and it goes from 300-400 HKD which is dirt cheap. I tossed it in the washing machine twice and perfectly works, despite the foam in the individual earpieces peeling, sound production is fair.
4. Jabra Rox Wireless: Sold this piece of garbage because of it's BT4.0 problems on many devices. It has a magnetic suspend feature when you flip the headphones to the side it will stick together on your neck. Caused issues on my Note 3, OnePlus One, Macbook Air and Macbook Pro - doesn't want to reconnect properly and caused random reboots on my Android device. Also the first version I got had a faulty microUSB port which wiggled around with a USB plugged in. Not recommended!

Currently lasting 8 hours charge compared to all the other's 4 hour battery, nice bass and treble balance, a funky circular storage unit and plastic "wings" that allow for the headphone to stay in your ear. Would love TW Earbuds coming directly from Oneplus as those would have been VFM but I don't see anything coming from them. The wireless bullets they have released are not Truly wireless. So looking forward to suggestions for some budget truly wireless earbuds.
I just purchased the Jabra Active Elite 65t wireless earbuds for all around music and movie watching on my phone and tablet. Great for workouts too. Sound is excellent and battery life is decent as I get a little over 5 hours of continuous play before having to recharge them with the small case / charger it came with. I've been using the Jabra Elite Sport since last year. Initially with my OG Pixel. And now either the OP6t.
It's done what I needed a TW earbuds for workouts, running, listening to tunes while working and answering and making phone calls. The call quality has been superb on both ends
The ones i am using right now:
I am using the Insignia bluetooth headsets (NS-CAHBTEB01) that i picked up at BestBuy for about $30 and they are great in both sound and design. These are made of plastic mostly so they might be more inclined to break if mishandled but they work perfectly for me. Average life for music is about 10 hours apparently and have a comfortable neckstrap to keep things clean. It includes controls for music and incoming calls on the headsets as well so they truly provide the bluetooth experience that i was looking for.
+1 for the Jabra elite 65t. 5 hours for one session is considered excellent battery life for truly wireless buds. The case is good for another 3 charges or so and it only takes like an hour to recharge.
Use it mainly for workouts but also on the bus/train in NYC on occasion. As with any truly wireless earbuds, you will get some interference when you are around a ton of other people with tech. Doesn't happen often but walking around NYC it does tend to happen here and there.

Using apple airpods. Great that there’s no buttons. Turns on and connects once taken out of case. Double tap either pauses music or hangs up calls. Bluetooth audio tuner has an apple AirPod preset so they are tuned and sound good.
Down side no volume control on the buds.
Using TicPods Free, Lava color. Love them. Definitely recommend

Another vote for the Jabra Elite 65t.
Out of all the wireless earbuds I've tried, it's the best battery life and sound quality. It also just works seamlessly when connecting to my phone.
Finally settled with the Samsung Galaxy Buds. Fits great without being too obvious like the Bose Soundsports. No problems with connection. Sounds nice. Completely satisfied till now.
Mifa X3 are what I've just bought. Inexpensive and great sound quality once I found some 'ear cushions' that fitted my ears better than the ones fitted on delivery. Of the sets supplied, one pair fitted well and gave good sound, but going through my selection of spare 'ear cushions' I found some that fitted even better and sounded even better too. Charged them up and had them running last night for almost 3 hours non stop. The touch controls are tricky to master, but other than that, no complaints. Sound just as good as my Denon (partially wired) Bluetooth ones that cost £170, and are more comfortable to wear. Bought from Amazon for only £26.
I too have the Jabra 65t buds. Beware though, I've sent mine back in for RMA due to a known issue where they won't sync and the right bud becomes so quiet that it's unusable, they have a new hardware revision that fixes this. I will say that Jabra customer support is excellent and gave me no runaround at all. The worst part was having to wait for the week on exchange.
I'm waiting for the Sabbat E12. I saw great reviews online.

I use the IconX 2018 edition! Amazing hardware! One of the few earbuds where you can listen to your own tunes from the bud itself. No need for Bluetooth connection
The newer buds you cannot do that but I believe those have slightly better battery and wireless charging.
The first model, forget it. Battery life I believe was 3 hours
I use the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air and they are amazing! Has a good and secure fit and thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, it seamlessly connects with my 6T. Sound is pretty good. Here are some pictures. And as for price, I stay in the United Arab Emirates so it's for AED 230.
Honestly I work in I.T. as an IMAC tech. I build computers all day and deploy. I'm able to get 8 hours out of my "Tranya T2" headphones.
The sound is fantastic for just $59.49 CAD or $45 USD.
There is no lack of bass, in fact it's pretty mind blowing, however it does not muddy up the sound at all. Its' right where you need it when you want it.
The right earbud is the master, and the left one is a slave to the right one. So if you want to use it mono, it'll just be the right one. This isn't a problem for me.
I've used them for 8 hours on a single charge *each earbud can last much longer than 8 hours* The charging case will charge the earbuds 4x before the case itself needs to be charged. Luckily it charges in something like an hour or less.
Each earbud magnetically snaps into it's own charging port. Not overly necessary but I love that feature.
I'm a bit of an audiophile, have been my entire life however I feel pretty safe bringing something of this value to work, and not having to worry about my top earphones.
I also cut the lawn with them, as the sound isolation is amazing.
